Kunal and Soha were in the Maldives to celebrate the actor's birthday on May 25. On the work front, Soha Ali Khan was last seen in Chhorii 2 with Nushrratt Bharuccha, Gashmeer Mahajani and Jitendra Kumar in key roles. Directed by Vishal Furia, the horror film was released on Amazon Prime Video. It is a sequel to Chhorii – a remake of Furia's 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi.
Chhorii marked Soha's return to acting after a seven-year hiatus. Before this, she was seen in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, which was released in 2018, a year after the actress welcomed her daughter Inaaya with husband Kunal Kemmu.
