Netflix fans say 'greatest movie of all time' now available to stream
A beloved cinematic masterpiece hailed as a trailblazing movie has just dropped on Netflix, much to the delight of fans.
Touted as exceptional and utterly remarkable, the film has garnered a slew of five-star accolades since its debut on the streaming platform.
Jurassic Park is celebrated as a 'shining pillar' in crafting a 'summer blockbuster', according to one critic's praise.
Another said: "It's not just the dinosaurs that make this film such a fun watch but the cast and the characters as well."
Viewers commend the film for withstanding the ravages of time, lauding 'legend' Steven Spielberg and the 'outstanding screenplay' by Michael Crichton and David Koepp, reports the Express.
One fan highlighted the ensemble's performances, noting how each actor fit their role 'perfectly', with special mentions for Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, and Wayne Knight.
An ardent fan commented on Rotten Tomatoes: "Another ground breaking film created by the legend Steven Spielberg.
"Jurassic Park is one of the most fun adventures on film I can think of. Everyone loves dinosaurs; kids and adults alike.
"It's not just the dinosaurs that make this film such a fun watch but the cast/characters as well and not to mention that beautiful score. The CGI (computer-generated imagery) still holds up very well today making Jurassic Park a timeless classic."
One viewer succinctly hailed Jurassic Park as the ultimate cinematic experience for dino enthusiasts, while others penned extensive tributes to the film.
On Rotten Tomatoes, Percy F shared his admiration: "Dino go rawr! The original Jurassic Park is an absolutely incredible film.
"From the brilliant direction of Steven Spielberg, and the outstanding screenplay from Michael Crichton and David Koepp, Jurassic Park proves to be a shining pillar of how to make a summer blockbuster.
"The performances of everyone in the cast fit their roles perfectly, with stand outs being Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough and Wayne Knight.
"The script is impressively thoughtful, with the debate over the morality of bringing back extinct dinosaurs, as well as life's ability to succeed under the most impossible of circumstances.
"However, the most outstanding parts of Jurassic Park is without a doubt its blend of practical and special effects, the movie is only as good as its ability to bring the dinosaurs to life, and boy does it.
"I can only imagine seeing this movie in theatres in 93, and how mind blowing these effects had to have been for the time - even more impressive is the fact that they still hold up in 2025.
"Plus, I always have a soft spot for any movie willing to use practical effects and puppets, but who can blame me. It helps make the dinosaurs feel real!".
"The only knock I have against this film is also a piece of additional praise for the film.
"Spielberg is a master at crafting suspenseful and exciting action sequences and Jurassic Park fully delivers on that regard.
"Unfortunately, the action sequences are occasionally at the expense of real logic, if I'd been suspending my disbelief once or maybe twice, I might be able to justify not taking off half a point.
"However, there were three moments throughout the film that forced me into a corner when it came to my suspension of disbelief, thus taking off half a star from what is otherwise a practically flawless film."
You can get comfortable for an evening indoors and binge-watch the entire trilogy, as the initial two sequels 'The Lost World: Jurassic Park' and 'Jurassic Park III' are equally accessible for streaming on Netflix.

All Creatures Great and Small to make TV comeback but fans will be gutted
Channel 5 is set to air the first series of All Creatures Great and Small once again, but watching it will be bittersweet for fans of the TV show The beloved series All Creatures Great and Small is making a comeback on our telly screens, but it's set to be a bittersweet experience for fans. Channel 5 will be airing the first series of All Creatures Great and Small once again, with the inaugural episode scheduled for Monday, August 11, at 4pm. First hitting our screens in September 2020, All Creatures Great and Small has since been adapted into five series, allowing fans to journey back to the show's humble beginnings. Revisiting the debut episode, You've Got to Dream, will undoubtedly stir up nostalgia among viewers. However, it'll also be tinged with sadness as we see Dame Diane Rigg reprising her role as Mrs Pumphrey. The late actress graced the first season of All Creatures Great and Small with her presence, before being succeeded by Patricia Hodge in the second series, reports the Express. Diane passed away in 2020 from lung cancer at the ripe age of 92, marking All Creatures Great and Small as one of her final television endeavours. She featured in a total of two episodes. Patricia then stepped into the shoes of Mrs Pumphrey during the second season, which premiered in September 2021. The main cast of All Creatures Great and Small includes Samuel West, Anna Madeley, Nicholas Ralph, Callum Woodhouse, and Rachel Shenton. James Anthony-Rose joined the ensemble in the fourth series. Set against the backdrop of Northern England in the 1930s and 40s, the series is based on Alf Wight's books about a Yorkshire veterinary surgeon, published under the pseudonym James Herriot. All Creatures Great and Small centres on a trio of vets in the Yorkshire Dales, with Samuel West as Siegfried Farnon, Nicholas Ralph as James Herriot, and Callum Woodhouse playing Tristan, Siegfried's younger sibling. The opening episode's blurb for All Creatures Great and Small goes like this: "Newly qualified veterinary surgeon James Herriot travels from his home in Glasgow to the Yorkshire village of Darrowby for a job interview at Siegfried Farnon's practice. Siegfried takes James to his first job treating an abscess in a gelding's hoof. James meets Helen Alderson while treating an injured calf, and she urges him to stand up to Siegfried, who will respect him." It continues: "The locals get James drunk and he mixes up a pair of cats while trying to feed them, resulting in Siegfried almost neutering the wrong one. James manages to prove himself after saving the lives of a cow and her calf, leading Siegfried to offer him a permanent job as his assistant."

Netflix fans in tears at 'heartbreaking' film based on true story
Netflix fans broke down in tears at a 'heartbreaking and messy' film based on a true story with an all-star cast. The Iron Claw, directed and written by Sean Durkin, was released back in 2023, but is about to find a new audience on the popular streaming service. Viewers will be able to watch the sports movie on Netflix from August 9, 2025. The blockbuster is based on the lives of the Von Erich brothers and their careers as wrestlers, under the training of their dad. 'The true story of the inseparable Von Erich brothers, who made history in the intensely competitive world of professional wrestling in the early 1980s,' IMDb's synopsis reads. It stars the likes of Zac Efron as Kevin Von Erich, Jeremy Allen White as Kerry Von Erich, Harrison Dickinson as David Von Erich, and Maura Tierney as Doris Von Erich. Stanley Simons plays Mike Von Erich, Michael J Harney is Bill Merce, Holt McCallany plays Jack Von Erich and Lily James as Pam Adkisson. Many have rushed to share their rave reviews about the film. Rolling Stone's David Fear said: 'It's a messy movie about messy lives, occasionally in ways you wish it wasn't. But The Iron Claw is also a story of redemption… That's partially why Efron's performance is the one that sticks with you.' Meanwhile Screen Rant's Mae Abdulbaki added: 'Zac Efron really gives it his all in this heartbreaking wrestling film about the Von Erich family. The biopic details the complexity of the family.' 'As a wrenching American heartland saga, The Iron Claw is certainly compelling, and to anyone unfamiliar with the Von Erichs' history, each jolt of fresh anguish delivered to the family will be startling,' The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney wrote. The Irish Times' Tara Brady said: 'The Iron Claw looks and feels like a pre-streaming TV movie – and not just any old TV movie but a strangely entertaining, darkly tragic, completely gripping TV movie.' Others have rushed online to other websites to give their thoughts. The movie has got a whopping 89% on Rotten Tomatoes. One said on the critic site: 'A tragic story, told impeccably well. More wrestling biopics please!' 'Didn't think this would be one of the best films I've seen, really surprised me... No popcorn needed! Maybe just tissues.' 'An absolutely fantastic film that had to be dialed down to make it believable. 'Tragic family story that was worse in real life but too unbelievable to put all in the movie.' 'Phenomenal movie. Amazing performances from the actors. I've lost people close to me so I really felt this one. Truly beautiful movie.' 'Wow. Incredible acting from all performers. It's more about family, masculinity, grief, loss, and mental health than wrestling. One of the best movies I've seen in years actually. 'Tragic, true story, heartbreaker of a film.' 'Ultimately, heart wrenching.' High School Musical legend Zac previously opened up about the work he had to put into his physique ahead of filming with Deadline. The actor said: 'Nothing could prepare me for the wrestling. The physical preparation and the training, that's something that I've always found very interesting. 'I've always admired people's transformations, in particular for movie roles. I just find that dedication fascinating and special when I see it. 'So in training for this, I got to train essentially for my championship, my belt match. It all came down to, how precise is my training? How dedicated am I to this? How hard can I push?
