Gulfood, the world's largest annual food and beverage sourcing event, welcomes the return of global culinary icons to Top Table – its flagship culinary exhibit that aims to rediscover gastronomy under the theme ' Culinary Futurism '. For the first time in the mega event's history, international culinary legend Chef Alain Ducasse, the most awarded Michelin Star chef (21), will take to the spotlight along with a line-up of celebrated global and UAE-based chefs holding a combined 50 Michelin Stars. Top Table will see these F&B icons display their expertise through live cooking demonstrations, masterclasses and other activations across all 5 days of Gulfood (February 17 – 21 2025) from 10AM – 6PM at Al Mustaqbal Plaza near Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). Mubarak Gharib Rashed Salem AlDhaheri, a UAE national from Al Ain, was announced as the grand prize winner of the Big Ticket Abu Dhabi draw for June 2025, after his ticket number 337126 was randomly selected during the live event on June 3. AlDhaheri, who is in his 50s, has been purchasing tickets regularly over the past two years, often from Al Ain Airport. Unlike many participants who buy in groups, he prefers going solo. 'I bought this ticket alone,' he confirmed in an interview with . Reflecting on the win, he added, 'It was completely unexpected, but a good, unexpected surprise.' AlDhaheri plans to use the prize money to purchase a new home for his family, invest wisely, and contribute to charitable causes. He also intends to keep participating in future draws, saying: 'Never give up. A win is just a ticket away.' The announcement was made during a livestream hosted by Big Ticket presenters Richard and Bouchra. UAE: Emirati man bags Dh20 million prize in Big Ticket draw

A UAE citizen on Tuesday bagged Dh20 million in the coveted Big Ticket draw. In a live stream of the draw held in Abu Dhabi, the host announced that the holder of ticket number 337126, Mubarak Gharib Rashed Salem AlDhaheri, would take home the grand prize. When making the announcement, the host Richard, said that this was the "first time in a long time" that a UAE national had won the jackpot prize. The Al Ain resident received a call from both Bushra and Richard with the good news — when the latter slipped up and nearly told him he won Dh25 million. The winner, who has been purchasing tickets for two years, said he buys his tickets at the airport. While speaking to the hosts, he said he wishes to donate a part of his winnings, buy things for himself and even plans to purchase a house. Last month, Thajudeen Kunju, a resident of Trivandrum, India, became a millionaire after winning the grand prize of Dh25 million in the Big Ticket Series 274 draw.
