The Nerazzurri have identified the 21-year-old as their main target in attack at the start of the transfer window. There are even reports that they could try and bring him in before the Club World Cup next month.
Therefore, Inter have been very active in starting the negotiations with Parma for Bonny's signature.
Reportedly, the Emilian club would want a fee of around €20 million for the Frenchman.

According to FCIN, Parma have asked Inter about the possibility of singing teenage striker Francesco Pio Esposito as part of talks for Bonny.

Should the Gialloblu sell Bonny this summer, it would leave a big vacancy in their attack.
Therefore, Parma will look to sign a like-for-like replacement for the Frenchman. And Pio Esposito would certainly represent a compelling option in this regard.
Pio Esposito has come off the back of an outstanding season in Serie B with Spezia. He has scored eighteen goals for the Ligurian club.
Should Spezia win promotion to Serie A, then he could remain there on loan for another season.
Spezia face Cremonese in a two-legged promotion playoff, with the first leg this evening.
However, should Spezia falter in that playoff final, then Inter will loan Pio Esposito out to another team in Serie A so that the 19-year-old can gain top flight experience.

As FCIN note, Inter believe Pio Esposito will be their and Italy's starting striker in years to come.
Therefore, Inter would have no intention of selling the teenage striker outright. Or of loaning him out with a purchase option.
This is why the Nerazzurri have strongly resisted the interest from Napoli in Pio Esposito's signature.
In the meantime, Bologna are reportedly keen on loaning in Pio Esposito.
However, it could be the Rossoblu's Emilian rivals Parma who have the advantage. They could utilize Inter's interest in Bonny to get a deal done for Pio Esposito on loan.
