Bill Burr isn't happy with Howie Mandel.
During a Monday appearance on "The Rich Eisen Show," the comedian, 56, slammed Mandel for surprising him with Billy Corgan during a recent podcast interview. Mandel framed the ambush as a family reunion, as Corgan previously theorized that Burr might be his half-brother.
While Burr expressed annoyance in the original interview, fans were unsure whether he was mad or if he was only joking. On "The Rich Eisen Show," though, Burr suggested he definitely did not approve of Mandel's stunt.
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Mandel for comment.
"Howie did what he did because he is a Hollywood whore, and he doesn't care what happens," Burr said. "He could have said something, and he just brings up all that weirdness. ... I did not appreciate what Howie did. Not at all."

Despite this, Burr said that Mandel is "hard to hate," joking, "How do you hate a germaphobe? He's not threatening." The comedian also noted he has no ill will toward Corgan, saying the Smashing Pumpkins guitarist is "fine."
In November, Corgan appeared on the "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" podcast and revealed that about 10 years earlier, his stepmother told him that Burr "might be one of the children that your father sired in his days being a traveling musician." He suggested this could be possible because his dad "did once tell me that I had a half-brother named Bill, who was born around the same time as me."
But he clarified that after sitting on it, he doesn't really think they're related.
Still, when Burr appeared on "Howie Mandel Does Stuff" last week, the "America's Got Talent" judge surprised him during their interview by bringing out Corgan to sit next to him. This was the first time the two had met.

"I thought this would be great, to bring family together," Mandel said, and the podcast episode was titled "Family Reunion."
As soon as Corgan entered, Burr seemed unhappy, asking, "Can this be edited out, or no?" He asked Corgan why he felt "the need" to bring up the idea that they could be half-brothers and told him, "Did you ever think the fact that I never told that story, that maybe you shouldn't?"
Throughout the subsequent conversation, Burr spoke as if he and Corgan legitimately share the same father, although it was somewhat unclear if he was only playing along with that idea as a bit. "At some point, it did become funny to me that he had multiple families," Burr said, adding that "my dad told us he was a dentist" and "didn't do the whole musician thing."
Burr also slammed Mandel during the episode, saying the host only cared about "ratings" and that the ambush was "rude," although he added, "I still love you, even though you did this." When Mandel continued to probe the two while playing emotional piano music, the comic asked, "Dude, you haven't gone far enough at this point?" Mandel eventually left the room entirely, leaving Burr and Corgan to talk as the piano music kept playing.
Corgan was apparently not in on the stunt. He expressed surprise that Burr did not know he was coming on the show and said that Mandel "totally set me up."

'South Park' spoofs Trump's DC crackdown in new clip: Watch

"South Park" is keeping its focus on President Donald Trump. The Comedy Central series has released a preview for its next episode, indicating the show will spoof Trump's law enforcement crackdown in Washington, D.C. The clip shows the recurring character Towelie, a talking towel who originated in a 2001 episode, arriving on a bus to the nation's capital, only to find it's swarming with troops and military tanks. "This seems like the perfect place for a towel," he says as a tank passes by the street outside of the White House. Earlier this month, Trump deployed hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., in what he described as a crackdown on rampant crime. Mayor Muriel Bowser has pushed back on Trump's claims, saying that the capital is "not experiencing a crime spike." The "South Park" episode, which is set to air on Wednesday, Aug. 20, is titled "Sickofancy," and the synopsis simply reads, "Towelie goes to Washington, D.C." The show has recently been nabbing strong ratings and drawing heat from the White House, with a season that has featured unusually pointed criticism of Trump and his administration. After uproar, 'South Park' pummels Trump again and hits at JD Vance, Kristi Noem It started in the Season 27 premiere, "Sermon on the 'Mount," which depicted Trump as a thin-skinned bully who is the lover of Satan. The episode also mocked Trump by showing a live-action version of him removing all of his clothes as part of a public service announcement. JD Vance reacts to brutal parody in latest 'South Park' episode White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers slammed "South Park" in a statement provided to USA TODAY on July 24, saying the show "hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention." But the show doubled down in the following episode, "Got a Nut," which featured more Trump jokes. The president was again shown as Satan's lover and, as part of a spoof of the ABC series "Fantasy Island," was depicted physically and verbally abusing Vice President JD Vance. Vance issued a succinct response to his depiction, writing on X, "Well, I've finally made it." The episode "Got a Nut" additionally spoofed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, showing her repeatedly shooting dogs. It also mocked her appearance by having her face slide off and move around by itself like a horror film. Noem fired back on "The Glenn Beck Program" podcast on Aug. 7, saying that "it's so lazy to make fun of women for how they look." Contributing: Cybele Mayes-Osterman, Phillip M. Singer Tamar Braxton reveals she 'almost died' after bloody facial injury

Tamar Braxton is coping with a recent health scare. The "Celebrity Big Brother" winner, 48, took to her Instagram story on Aug. 19 to share that she'd broken her nose, lost "some teeth" and experienced impaired mobility over the weekend. "I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can't even really talk anymore I'm so weak," she wrote. "I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury," she wrote." "As the days go by the worse it is," she continued. 'I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different. As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins.. pray for me for real. I don't even know what happened to me.' USA TODAY has reached out to Braxton's representative for comment. Braxton, who hosts MTV's "Caught in the Act: Double Life," has a history of being open about her physical and mental struggles. As she competed on Season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars" in 2015, Braxton had to drop out of the competition after being hospitalized. What she'd thought was pneumonia was diagnosed as blood clots in her lungs. Years later, she spoke out against "toxic" forces in the television industry in 2020. After nearly a decade of starring on We TV's "Braxton Family Values" alongside her mother Evelyn and sisters, — Toni, Traci, Towanda, and Trina Braxton — she claimed she was "betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid." Braxton also mentioned her "cry for help" went unheeded, and she survived a suicide attempt. Soon after she made her story public, We TV said it would "honor her request to end all future work for the network." Jay Cutler denies Kristin Cavallari didn't receive money in divorce: 'Borderline slander'

Money talks, and so does Jay Cutler. The former NFL player and ex-husband of TV personality Kristin Cavallari opened up about the couple's divorce settlement after Cavallari got candid on her post-split finances on her reality show, "Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour." Cutler and Cavallari were married from 2013-2020 and share three children. During the June 18 episode of "Honestly Cavallari," the "Laguna Beach" alum, 38, reportedly debunked speculation that Cutler funded her beauty and apparel brand Uncommon James. "People love to say that everything I have in my life is because of my ex-husband," she said, per People magazine and NBC News affiliate KRNV. "I have never gotten a penny from my ex-husband," Cavallari added. "I didn't get any money from our divorce, so let's just clear that up." Cutler, 42, pushed back against his ex-wife's comments on the Aug. 15 episode of his podcast, "Take it Outside with Jay Cutler and Sam Mackey", joking: "Yeah, she didn't get a penny. She got a lot, a lot, a lot of (dollar) bills." "It's irresponsible. I think it's reckless," Cutler continued. "It's borderline slander to insinuate that there was zero dollars split during the marriage that each side got." USA TODAY has reached out to Cavallari's representative for comment. In April 2020, Cavallari announced her split from Cutler in an Instagram post, writing, "With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce." According to People magazine and the former couple later reached a child custody agreement, which allowed Cavallari to use "marital funds" to purchase a home for herself. Kristin Cavallari interview: 'Laguna Beach' alum is open to talking about anything, except her ex-husband. How much money did Kristin Cavallari receive from Jay Cutler divorce? While Cutler didn't go into details about how much money was allotted to Cavallari in their divorce settlement, the Chicago Bears alum said, "I can guarantee you it's definitely not zero dollars." "You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It's online," said Cutler, who reportedly earned $122.2 million across 12 seasons. "If we would have went to the judge and been like, 'Hey, he's going to keep every single dollar over the past seven years, and you're going to get nothing,' ... they would have been like, 'No, this isn't right. This isn't legal. Not happening.' " Kristin Cavallari talks Jay Cutler: TV personality says she was 'skin and bones' during 'unhappy' marriage When asked by cohost Sam Mackey if the settlement money is enough to live "comfortably" on, Cutler replied, "without a doubt." "It's insanity. It's completely false, completely untrue. It just is. I've got a divorce decree," Cutler said. "(I) hate that I even have to address it, honestly, but it gets to a point where it's just untrue." Contributing: Jay Stahl, USA TODAY
