Christina Aguilera is gushing over Burlesque the Musical.
On Saturday (July 19), the 44-year-old pop icon attended the stage adaptation of Steven Antin's 2010 film Burlesque, in which she starred as an aspiring performer opposite Cher, who played a glamorous nightclub owner.

Xtina documented her experience at London's Savoy Theatre and shared her reaction on social media.
'BLOWN AWAY!!!' she captioned an Instagram video of herself at the show, set to her track 'Show Me How You Burlesque,' from the original Burlesque soundtrack.
The short clip shows Aguilera — an executive producer of the musical — smiling and clapping during the performance, with scenes from the production spliced throughout. 'My review of Burlesque the Musical,' the 'Genie in a Bottle' singer wrote over the video, adding five stars.
After Saturday's show, Burlesque the Musical shared clips on Instagram of Aguilera arriving at the theater, waving to fans while wearing a sheer black outfit. 'What it is like to have a goddess in your life,' Antin captioned one video on his Instagram Story. 'Unbelievable night with @xtina [heart emoji] this queen so much for producing our show.'
Burlesque marked Aguilera's first leading film role and Cher's debut musical performance on screen. In the movie, Aguilera plays Alice Marilyn, an aspiring singer who leaves her small Iowa hometown to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. She soon becomes a dancer and cocktail waitress at a struggling burlesque lounge owned by Tess Scali, played by Cher.
The 10-song Burlesque soundtrack — featuring music written and produced by Diane Warren, Sia, Tricky Stewart, Ron Fair, Linda Perry and Aguilera — reached No. 18 on the Billboard 200 albums chart in 2010.
Burlesque the Musical made its world premiere in June at the Manchester Opera House and is now playing at London's Savoy Theatre through early September. Written and produced by Antin, the stage adaptation features songs by Aguilera and Sia, along with new music by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley.
Earlier this year, Aguilera shared her excitement about the project. 'I'm proud that Burlesque the Musical is coming to London's West End!' she said in a statement. 'Our journey of making this film to bringing this show to the stage has been so special and exciting. Following our successful previews, having the show land in the West End later this year is a dream come true!'

Jennifer Lopez's Wardrobe Malfunction Left Her Standing In Her Underwear, And It's Awkward

On Friday, Jennifer Lopez's Up All Night Tour stopped in Warsaw, Poland, where she performed in front of a reported crowd of over 70,000 people. Related: If you haven't seen the footage, it looked like a great night — except for one unfortunate moment when part of the outfit she was wearing became undone. Jennifer — who happened to be celebrating her 56th birthday that night — wore a sparkly gold bralette and a fringed miniskirt, accessorizing with matching full-sleeve gloves and sparkly gold heels. She was backstage, changing into the outfit, when a member of her team invited the band and the audience to join them in singing "Happy Birthday" to her. Related: Seemingly unprepared, but not wanting to miss the song, Jennifer rushed back onstage as a team member followed close behind, seemingly trying to fasten her skirt. "Thank you!" Jennifer told the crowd. "Thank you, Warsaw!" But as she stepped forward, the skirt slipped down, exposing her gold undergarments. Related: At first, she screamed, but then she decided to embrace it. "I'm out here in my underwear," Jennifer said, raising her hands and twirling for the crowd. Laughing, she added, "That's gonna be everywhere!" Jennifer Lopez / Via A team member attempted to help her fix the skirt, but at that point, there was no point, and Jennifer threw it into the audience. "I'm glad they reinforced that costume," she joked, "and I'm glad I had underwear on!" Watch the moment here: Viewers thought it was hilarious — and they also appreciated Jennifer's sense of humor about the situation. Taking to Reddit, one person wrote, "Now that's how a professional recovers 😂." Another said, "Lmao she knows she looks good either way. Thats power." Related: "Well that was smooth lol," commented another. "She looks great!" While someone else said, "I love that recovery lmao" In response to some speculation that it was "staged," one viewer suggested, "It was obviously two outfits in one, it just detached too early than expected. But she was also meant to be in the 'after' one at some point." "Yea, was gonna say it might've been intentional but then saw the giant mic pack behind her; ain't no way wardrobe would want that showing on stage. Good on them for handling it so smoothly," one more added. Either way, as Reddit user Character_Seaweed_99 said, "this is why you should always wear nice underwear." In 2024, former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi purchased what was supposed to be a vacation home in England. However, plans quickly changed. "We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis,'" DeGeneres told The Wall Street Journal, referring to the re-election of President Donald Trump. "And we're like, 'We're staying here'." That led the couple to sell their final property in the United States and take their house-flipping hobby across the pond. Known as Kitesbridge Farm, the property is located in The Cotswolds, a picturesque region with rolling hills and charming villages. The couple bought it for nearly $20 million and has now put it on the market for nearly $30 million. According to the Sotheby's International Realty listing held by Andrew Barnes and Marcus O'Brien, the home has been "reimagined over the past year," indicating that DeGeneres and de Rossi have continued their house-flipping fun. "The estate blends period character with sleek, modern design across 43 acres of rolling Cotswold countryside," it says. The main residence wraps around a courtyard and has various spaces for entertaining aside from the typical living room and kitchen. There's a total of six bedrooms, including a principal suite on the first floor that features two dressing rooms, a marble-clad ensuite bathroom and French doors that lead to a private garden. Upstairs, there are the other five bedrooms and a large sitting room. But it's the outdoors that really won over DeGeneres and de Rossi. "When we decided to live here full time, we knew that Portia couldn't live without her horses," DeGeneres told the Journal. "We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them." Kelly Osbourne Thanks Fans for Dad Ozzy's Last Black Sabbath Show: ‘No Idea What It Did for My Dad'

Ozzy Osbourne had the support of his entire family for his final Black Sabbath concert — and daughter Kelly Osbourne knows how special it was. 'I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you,' Kelly, 40, said in a Sunday, July 6, Instagram Story video. 'Thank you to everyone who came to the show last night, [and] thank you to everybody who was involved in the show last night. You have no idea what it did for my dad.' She added, 'It was one of the most magical experiences of my entire life, and if I keep talking, I'm probably going to end up crying again. So, that's all I'll say for now. Thank you.' Ozzy, 76, reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for an epic 'Back to the Beginning' concert in Birmingham, England, on Saturday, July 6, to raise funds for Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital and Acorns Children's Hospice. The concert also marked the famed rocker's official retirement. Ozzy Osbourne Through the Years: Black Sabbath, Solo Career, Addiction, Married Life, Reality TV and More Ozzy announced in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. 'You wake up the next morning and find that something else has gone wrong. You begin to think this is never going to end,' Ozzy told The Guardian in a May profile, noting that his wife, Sharon Osbourne, organized the benefit concert to 'give [him] a reason to get up in the morning.' At the time, Ozzy teased that he was working on his stamina in order to make it through the performance. 'I do weights [and] bike riding, I've got a guy living at my house who's working with me,' Ozzy told the British newspaper. 'It's tough. I've been laid up for such a long time. I've been lying on my back doing nothing, and the first thing to go is your strength. It's, like, starting all over again.' He continued, 'I have problems walking. I also get blood pressure issues from blood clots on my legs. I'm used to doing two hours on stage, jumping and running around. I don't think I'll be doing much jumping or running around this time. I may be sitting down.' Jack Osbourne Pays Tribute After Dad Ozzy Osbourne's Star-Studded Final Concert Ozzy ended up seated during most of Saturday's show, performing from a bat-covered throne. Kelly watched from backstage alongside her mom, siblings and other loved ones. Ozzy and Sharon, 72, are parents to Kelly, Jack and Aimee. 'For everything I learned along the way,' Jack, 39, captioned a throwback video on Instagram later on Saturday. 'The final Good Night We Love You All 🤘.' Solve the daily Crossword
