As Jessie addressed the audience at the Capital Summertime Ball 2025 at Wembley Stadium on June 15, in London, England, she stated that it was her last performance for a while as she battles a life-threatening disease. She voiced out the memorable moments, and a list of why she so wants to continue living her life, according to The Independent.
'Today, this show is my last show before I go and beat breast cancer. So it's (the performance) so special to me, you have no idea.
That this is my last show before I go and have my surgery and all those things,' she bid adieu for a moment.
'It's the most special thing, and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, for my son, my partner, my parents, my family, my band, my crew, my people. We are so lucky we have so much to live for, so much joy, so many things to do,' Jessie expressed her gratitude.

On June 3, Jessie revealed in a heartwrenching Instagram video about the diagnosis, and found a way to make the announcement lighthearted, addressing her situation and what she has been going through.
'I was diagnosed with early breast cancer. I'm highlighting the word early. Cancer sucks in any form, but I'm holding on to the word 'early.' I have been in and out of tests throughout this whole period,' she said in the clip.
'I just wanted to be open and share it, 1) because selfishly, I do not talk about it enough. I'm not processing it because I'm working so hard. I also know how much sharing in the past has helped me with other people giving me their love and support, and also their own stories. I'm an open book. It breaks my heart that so many people are going through so much, similar and worse. Um, that's the bit that kills me,' Jessie added, before concluding with the announcement of performing for the last time at the Capital Summertime Ball 2025.
