By: R Gonzales Text Size: The victim's body washed ashore. KOTA BELUD: The body of a 46-year-old foreigner was found washed ashore at Kampung Rampayan Laut, here, Saturday. The victim, believed to have fallen into the sea while fishing, was discovered by a member of the public at 8.55am, who immediately alerted the authorities. District Police Chief Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said a team was dispatched to the scene. Initial investigations showed the man had gone fishing near the river mouth when his boat capsized due to strong waves, causing him to fall into the sea and be swept away by currents. The body was sent to the Kota Belud Hospital Forensic Unit for a post-mortem. KHARKIV (Reuters) -Russia hit a residential area in Kharkiv with a ballistic missile, injuring at least 11 people, Ukrainian authorities said late on Sunday, as the U.S. president presses Kyiv to accept a quick deal to end the war that Moscow had started. "The enemy continues to deliberately target civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region — treacherously, at night," Oleh Hryhorov, head of the regional administration in Sumy, said on Telegram. Reuters could not independently verify what weapons Russia used. There was no immediate comment from Moscow. Both sides deny targeting civilians in their strikes, but thousands of people have died, the vast majority of them Ukrainian. President Donald Trump, who hosted President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday for bilateral talks aimed at ending the war, has urged Kyiv to make a deal with Moscow, stating, "Russia is a very big power, and they're not." Five vehicles collide on Pan Borneo highway in Papar

The collision occurred at about 4.04pm and involved a trailer lorry, three Mitsubishi Triton four-wheel drives, and a Perodua Bezza. Fire and Rescue personnel from the Papar station, led by a team of eight, arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the call and conducted safety checks. The injured driver, who was in the Bezza, sustained minor injuries and received initial treatment from emergency responders but declined to be taken to hospital. Fire damages house, vehicles in Papar

Firefighters from the Papar station received the emergency call at 2.49pm and arrived at the scene five minutes later. The blaze involved a semi-permanent house measuring about 40 by 40 feet, with nearly the entire structure affected before it was brought under control at 3.09pm. Two cars, a Perodua Kelisa and a Perodua Myvi, were partially damaged in the incident, along with a Honda Dash motorcycle.
