Daniel Dubois house party video emerges after Oleksandr Usyk defeat
Footage has emerged of the pre-fight party held at Daniel Dubois' home just hours before his undisputed world heavyweight title defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday.
The 27-year-old lost his IBF heavyweight title as he was knocked out in the fifth round by Usyk, who delivered a dominant display in their rematch at Wembley.
However, Dubois' preparations for the biggest fight of his career to date were chaotic as he arrived at Wembley less than 90 minutes before he was due to make his ring walk. In contrast, Usyk arrived 45 minutes earlier than his opponent.
It has also emerged that Dubois' father, Stanley, arranged a party at the family mansion in Essex on the day of the fight.
In the footage taken at the gathering, partygoers could be heard shouting, 'and the new', in anticipation of Dubois beating Usyk to become the new undisputed world heavyweight later that day.
Dubois was also seen smiling and posing for photos with the guests.
According to The Times, Dubois did not know every person who attended the party and left the gathering at one point for a drive.
The report adds that Stanley Dubois requested extra cars to bring his entourage from the party to Wembley, while his son had to walk to the entrance on foot from the car park as the vehicle he arrived in was not accredited.
Security at Wembley also tried to prevent some of Dubois' extra entourage from entering the stadium before Stanley threatened that the fight would not go ahead if they were not let in.
Joseph Parker, who is the mandatory challenger for Usyk's WBO belt, said he is 'shocked' by Dubois' preparations for the fight.
'That is insanely disruptive,' Parker said on talkSPORT's talkBOXING show.
'I'm very surprised, I'm shocked. That many people over? You're preparing for a massive fight.
'You need rest, you need to chill, you need to get in the zone, and he's got this big party happening.'
Lawrence Okolie, who has trained alongside Dubois, added: 'The problem is, it's coming from someone that he looks [to] out of the ring. It's coming from his dad.
'I've trained with him, his dad's a huge part of his life, so that is obviously going to be disruptive.'
Meanwhile, talkSPORT broadcaster Simon Jordan has suggested that Dubois' father had become a 'destructive force' on the day of the fight.
'There is a lot of noise, and again, this must not be used as an excuse for Oleksandr Usyk's excellence,' Jordan told talkSPORT.
'But he [Dubois] had a party at his house before the event, and you have 50,60,70 people at a party that the kid doesn't know, so he has to go round the corner and drive because he doesn't know anyone at the party.
'And then you get to the event, and people want this entourage to be brought in. And then they start telling security guards that if the entourage isn't allowed to come in, then Daniel won't fight. More Trending
'And then his dad has other things to say in the corner, which I don't think are particularly productive. Once upon a time, it was considered to be useful because Daniel defers to his father on everything, and I'm not suggesting that his father hasn't been a massive influence in what we have seen.
'But I'm suggesting there is a balance between being an influence and a destructive force. Don Charles is an employee. Don Charles is in the corner working for Daniel Dubois' father.
'I'm not looking for excuses, but I'm just saying that I'm not sure the preparation on the day of the event is where it should have been.
'I'm not saying that Oleksandr Usyk wouldn't have done the same thing to Daniel Dubois, but it doesn't help him.'

Rangers hero Ally McCoist ‘is on EVERYTHING' says sports hero as he calls for rebate on TV licence
JOHN PARROTT used to share a primetime TV slot with Ally McCoist as an opposing team captain on Question of Sport. But now the Liverpudlian former world snooker champ turned snooker pundit gazes at McCoist's media empire and marvels. 2 John Parrott couldn't resist a light-hearted barb at his old Question of Sport pal Credit: Getty 2 Ally McCoist commentates on the Champions League final for TNT Credit: Getty The Rangers icon might be on a well-earned holiday right now, but he's one of the hardest working men in the business, regularly working at three or four matches a week across Europe - in addition to hosting a daily national breakfast show for TalkSPORT. And it was with that in mind that his old Question of Sport pal Parrott couldn't resist a light-hearted dig in the Gers hero's direction. He was making an appearance on the TalkSPORT breakfast show, usually hosted by McCoist but this time with Alan Brazil and Gabby Agbonlahor on comms. He said: "Can I get a rebate on my TV licence, because my Scottish mate is on everything. "He's going to be doing the Shipping Forecast next." One of McCoist's former managers, meanwhile, has been explaining why he DENIED the Rangers hero an emotional Ibrox swansong when manager of Kilmarnock. Bobby Williamson was Killie boss back in 2001 when he kept McCoist on the bench during a 5-1 defeat at Ibrox in his final season as a professional. In an interview with the Let Me Be Frank podcast, Williamson said: "It was a very unique occasion. "I don't think it'd happened before and I don't think it'll happen again, where an opposition are singing for a player to come on. "We were getting battered, Rangers played really well that day and we've not really performed. Ally McCoist confesses to 'horrendous' epic fail ahead of final day of Rangers legend's charity bike ride "[The Rangers fans] started to chant McCoist's name. If they hadn't done that, I might've put him on. "But because they were chanting, and I've got 200 Kilmanrock fans over there, who've paid good money to come up from Ayrshire, and I'm thinking if I put him on then I'm going to get dog's abuse for kowtowing to Rangers. He added: "I sympathised with the Rangers fans. I used to be one. "I knew how they were feeling, they wanted to see Ally. "But I said to myself, they'll have other occasions to do that. These Old Firm games, they'll see him again, and then he went back as a manager. "But I would've got slaughtered off my own fans. I've got to think about them."
