International fight week at UFC 317 should bring the fireworks to Las Vegas.
The 12-fight card features two title fights, and just four of the 12 fights are projected to end inside the distance.
An insane expectation of violence on Saturday night begins at 6:30 p.m. Eastern with the entire prelim card being broadcast on ESPN before switching over to pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET.
We had a solid run last week, following some lackluster performances from a betting perspective over the past few weeks.
The 6-5 record would point to an average day, but nailing a +290 wager on top of two other plus-money wins helped us profit 1.72 units and a 15.64 percent ROI.
UFC 317 predictions
Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira
Charles Oliveira has always been heavy on the forward pressure; it's a major piece of his game.
But he'll need to be extremely careful coming in against a boxer like Ilita Topuria.
Topuria is one of the best knockout artists in featherweight history and now moves up to 155 lbs to compete for the lightweight title.
Olivieira, 36, has fought 34 times in the UFC and has taken tons of damage.
We've seen previously that he hates getting hit, going back years to when he tapped out due to strikes from Paul Felder in 2017.
By all accounts, Topuria hits harder than anyone Oliveira has ever fought.
Typically, as you get older, you don't want to get hit harder than you have ever been hit before.
Topuria is an excellent grappler himself, and I suspect that he isn't as big of a liability on the ground as many would think.
He did win the title in 2021 and defended against strikers and won by submission multiple times, but Saturday's not his night.
Topuria is the biggest star in the UFC, and I suspect he wins by knockout.

Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France
If you were to judge this fight purely based on MMA math, you could argue that Kai Kara-France has an excellent chance to snag a win here as an underdog, considering he defeated Askar Askarov while Alexandre Pantoja has a loss against him. '
My issue with backing Kara-France as a +220 underdog is that he has four losses in his last nine fights.
Plain and simple, he fights on too thin of margins to get consistent wins, and has had some funky decisions in the past.
Those losses were against some of the best fighters in the division, but his loss to Brandon Royval by submission is concerning on multiple levels.
Pantoja is an excellent wrestler for his size, and his striking isn't bad either, but if he can't get takedowns, he'll have problems.
Flyweight is a high variance division, and these two have fought before on The Ultimate Fighter, with Pantoja winning by decision.
I suspect that Pantoja gets the job done on Saturday, but the line has no value at the price and especially the division they fight in.
Back this one to go the distance with a long shot bet on Kara-France by decision at +500, considering that's his most likely win condition, even though I don't love the fighter personally.

The buzz keeps building as an Eagles rookie earns more praise from the media. This is probably a safe guess. Since you've watched the Philadelphia Eagles all your life, those of you who also love the college game have probably kept one eye on the Big Ten. These days, that's certainly harder than ever as it's now two schools short of becoming 'The Big 20'. Even with all of that being said, your Pennsylvania affiliations more than likely kept you from watching a ton of Nebraska football. Tom Osborne left a long time ago, and if we're being honest, most Eagles fans lost track of Matt Rhule after Philadelphia beat his Carolina Panthers in Week 5 of the 2021 season. The 2025 NFL Draft brought about some changes. Philadelphia drafted a Nebraska Cornhusker in Round 4, and though discipline tells us not to put too much stock in a rookie until he has played meaningful snaps, it's hard not to be excited. This guy's nickname is the 'Vanilla Gorilla' for Heaven's sake. ESPN's Tim McManus names Ty Robinson's selection as the Eagles' most underrated move They say offense sells tickets, and defense wins championships. One of the most significant talking points we've heard all offseason is the number of players lost from the defensive roster. Frankly, that take seems overstated. One of those weapons is rookie Ty Robinson, the aforementioned 'Vanilla Gorilla'. Gosh, it's easy to fall in love with that nickname, and it's easy to love what Tim McManus said about him. Tim is ESPN's Eagles insider, and he recently participated in an NFC East roundtable. Once the topic turned to each team's most underrated move, Robinson earned his shout-out. "Drafting DT Ty Robinson in the fourth round (was Philly's most underrated move). With minimal contact during OTA and minicamp practices, the offseason program isn't exactly conducive to properly evaluating linemen. But that hasn't stopped some of his new teammates from speaking highly of the Nebraska product. "That boy is fire, I ain't going to lie," DT Jalen Carter said. "He's moving good. He's a big boy. ... I think he's going to have a big impact this season." Robinson's NCAA career ended with 134 tackles, including 27 for loss. He also racked up a dozen sacks and 12 pass breakups. He earned Third-team All-Big Ten honors in his swan song with the Cornhuskers last season. This next part, however, is the best part of the story. Rhule gave him a single-digit jersey number, an honor reserved for the tough players on his team who have earned his respect. Tom Aspinall 'never speaking' about Jon Jones again, vows to shut down future questions
Tom Aspinall is done talking about Jon Jones. Expect fewer headlines involving both Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall moving forward. That's right. Although the two names have been almost inseparable from each other over the last two years, that's now going to change, at least according to Aspinall (15-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC). The Englishman is fed up talking about Jones (28-1 MMA, 22-1 UFC), and now that Jones retired, and the UFC promoted him from interim to undisputed champion, Aspinall sees no need to keep bringing up old business. "The second I won the interim title, I think a lot of people looked at me different than a regular interim champion, in my opinion," Aspinall told Ariel Helwani. "For me, I was always a champion interim or not, in my opinion. I would've liked to have taken it from the other champion, that would've been nice, but I guess it's worked out for me. "For me, it's very simple, people always want to ask me about Jon Jones, and this very interview right now will be the last time I speak about it. I'm done. I'm done with it. Anybody that asks me moving forward is getting shut down. I'm never speaking about it again." Aspinall and Jones have been linked to a potential fight for almost two years. Jones won the vacant UFC heavyweiht title in March 2023. He was supposed to defend the belt against Stipe Miocic that same year in November, but Jones suffered an injury and the fight was pushed back an entire year. Oddly, an interim title was implemented, which Aspinall won and defended before Jones could return last November for his first title defense. A title unification was long overdue, and it was expected to go down in 2025. However, Jones retired last week in an abrupt announcement by UFC CEO Dana White. Although Aspinall wanted the title unification fight badly, he is grateful there's finally a resolution to the heavyweight title picture, and he can now resume his career. "I'm done with that with now, and I'm ready to move on," Aspinall said. "I've been talking about Jon Jones, I was happy to talk about Jon Jones to get the fight, and now the fight is not there, so I'm just like, 'Let's just move on.'" For Aspinall it was never about Jones, and all about being the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion – a goal he's now achieved. "I was relived that this is all over," Aspinall explained. "...I was never, ever, ever just chasing Jon Jones. There was a lot of talk from people online and stuff. There's a lot of comparisons to (Michael) Chandler chasing (Conor) McGregor. Chandler was chasing McGregor because he wanted a big fight, and he was chasing money, basically. I didn't care about a big fight or money. "I cared about the heavyweight title. That's all I've ever been bothered about, recognition for being the best heavyweight walking around planet earth, so I'm just relieved that I can just fight again. A lot of people don't understand that. ... My job is to fight, and I haven't been able to do that for about a year for no good reason other than the politics of the UFC."
