(3) LICKETY SPLIT had some traffic problems behind Strawberry Thief last time, but still managed a third. With a nice pull in weights with Strawberry Thief, she will go close to winning.

(1) CLOUDS CLEARING must have a good each-way chance in this race from a nice draw. Include her into all bets. (8) WAIT FOR ME finished really well for third behind Wander Dune on July 26. He was very disappointing last time behind Green Planet. Can bounce back. (9) THE ROARING ROCK ran a decent race behind Churchillian on May 6. Watch him closely. Race 2 (1,200m) (4) MATCH THAT ran an absolute cracker in the Grade 3 Winter Nursery. On her best form, she will be very hard to beat. (2) PARALEGAL ran just under five lengths behind She's My World at Kenilworth on May 4. Brevan Plaatjies takes off 2.5kg. Good place chance. (3) SPORTS FAN won a good race in PE on May 9.
