Rob Gronkowski sounds alarm on Jordon Hudson ‘distraction' for Bill Belichick, UNC
Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson's relationship has been anything but smooth sailing when it comes to its perception from the public eye — and Gronkowski is now taking note on how far it all strays from what Belichick preached in his nine years coaching the legendary tight end.
'You know, and in the back of your head, too, you're just thinking to yourself as well, 'When you were on the Patriots, the whole goal was to eliminate all the distractions that can possibly happen while you're on the team,'' Gronkowski said in an interview with 98.5 The Sports Hub.

'And don't bring those distractions to the team and in the locker room, and we're just looking down at the program in North Carolina and it feels like there are just distractions 24/7 down there,' he added. 'There's no football talk as well.'
This is a different stance than what Gronkowski preached just about two weeks ago when he and fellow former New England Patriot Julian Edeleman spoke on the 'Dudes on Dudes' podcast.

The two cut Hudson some slack after her brutal moment where she cut a CBS interviewer's question to Belichick about how the couple met. The former teammates noted how Hudson was simply playing the role of a publicist, not an ornery girlfriend.
'People are giving an unfair reality of what's going on,' Edelman argued on the podcast. 'Because she was jumping into that conversation during the interview just like any PR person would jump in when there's an unnecessary question that probably [they] didn't go over in the pre-production meeting.'

'When you look at this situation and you say, 'This is his girlfriend jumping in,' I think that's unfair,' Edelman added. 'I think she's actually working with coach Belichick in the professional world.'

This sentiment is backed up by the fact that UNC released a statement on Friday saying that Hudson will 'manage all activities related to Coach Belichick's personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.'

As Gronkowski now notes, though, Belichick's relationship with Hudson has been a distraction — to say the least.

So much so, that UNC is closing in on hiring a former Chicago Bears PR chief to work alongside Belichick in handling the debacle that is his relationship with the 24-year-old.
Perhaps then, Hudson will find herself less in the spotlight of micro-managing Belichick's public moves and more so in the supportive girlfriend role.

Putin's ‘secret daughter' laments father who killed ‘millions' and ‘destroyed' her life as she pivots to support Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin's alleged secret daughter spoke out against her father in a cryptic post condemning the man who 'destroyed' her and 'took millions of lives.' Elizaveta Krivonogikh, a 22-year-old art school graduate living in Paris who is believed to Putin's youngest daughter, shared the messages on her private Telegram, in line with her increasing openness on Instagram as she's started to share more images of herself. 4 22-year-old Elizaveta Krivonogoikh is supposedly Vladimir Putin's secret love child. social media Advertisement 'It's liberating to be able to show my face to the world again,' she wrote, Bild reported. 'It reminds me of who I am and who destroyed my life,' she added. The Telegram chat, dubbed 'Art of Luiza,' references her work pseudonym Luiza Rozova. Advertisement Krivonogikh didn't explicitly name Putin in either post, but has also never shot down the popular theories surrounding her true parentage. The budding artist was born in 2003 after a suspected affair between Putin and her mother, Svetlana, the president's then-housekeeper. 4 Putin has never confirmed the rumored love child. POOL/AFP via Getty Images The bombshell was first revealed after a 2020 investigation by Russian media outlet Proekt, citing her 'phenomenal resemblance' to Putin. He isn't listed on her birth certificate, but 'Vladimirovna' was included, translating to 'daughter of Vladimir.' Advertisement In 2021, slain journalist and Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny exposed Krivonogikh's Instagram, which highlighted her life of luxury and her family's staggering wealth that many have attributed to their connection with the disgraced Russian president. 4 Krivonogikh returned to social media and slammed her rumored father. Instagram / luizaroz__ While Krivonogikh originally celebrated life in the spotlight, she retreated after Russia invaded Ukraine in 2021 and her Instagram was suddenly shut down. She's since returned, but was more reserved at first, hiding her face in many photos. She's now seemingly changed her tune — and swapped sides on the devastating war after previously mourning her inability to 'make an extra lap around my beloved St. Petersburg.' Advertisement Krivonogikh has since denounced her previous Gucci-encrusted lifestyle of obscene wealth and speaks openly against her supposed father's massacre in Ukraine while working in a Parisian art gallery specializing in anti-war works. 4 Krivonogikh also denounced Putin's invasion of Ukraine. AP Krivonogikh also adopted an extra pseudonym, Elizaveta Rudnova, inspired by Putin's late ally Oleg Rudnov — a cheeky stab at her elusive parentage. Still, critics of Putin haven't quite bought her reshaped image and insist that she shouldn't be working in a space where she could be interacting with Ukrainians, regardless of her stance. 'Am I really responsible for the activities of my family, who can't even hear me?' Krivonogikh wrote. Putin is also rumored to share two secret sons, a 10-year-old and a 6-year-old, with his former gymnast fling and Olympic gold medalist Alina Kabaeva.

Broncos' Sean Payton makes brass Bo Nix prediction for ‘next two years'
Everyone needs a boss to believe in them and Bo Nix certainly does. Broncos head coach Sean Payton has trust in his young quarterback — a lot of it. 'He's going to be one of the top four or five quarterbacks in the league the next two years,' Payton said in an interview with Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson. 'That's what we're seeing right now. He doesn't take sacks. He's got exceptional arm strength. … He threw the longest ball — (67) air yards against Cincinnati. He can run. He can throw in funny body angles.' 3 Bo Nix and Sean Payton talk at Broncos minicamp in June. AP Nix showed some tremendous flashes as a rookie, finishing his 17 games with 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, adding 430 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, too. In college, Nix spent three seasons at Auburn and two with Oregon. His final season with the Ducks was when he truly exploded to stardom, as he threw for 45 touchdowns with just three interceptions en route to a third-place Heisman Trophy finish. Nix led the nation in completions and completion percentage at 364 and 77.4, respectively. While he was the 12th pick in the 2024 draft, there were still five other quarterbacks taken ahead of him — Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix and JJ McCarthy. 3 Bo Nix is looking for a second-year leap this upcoming season after a promising rookie campaign. Charles Wenzelberg / New York Post Payton seems to believe he'll be the best of all of them. Nix was the second-most successful rookie of the bunch last season, leading the Broncos to a 10-7 record and a playoff berth, a better outcome than any rookie quarterback and their team aside from Daniels and the Commanders. Led by the 25-year-old quarterback, Payton has high hopes for the entire team, not just Nix. 3 Sean Payton is entering his third season as the Broncos' head coach. AP 'The short-term goal is winning the division,' he said. 'But this is a team capable of winning the Super Bowl. I've coached six teams that I thought could win the Super Bowl. Some went to championship games, some to the playoffs … This is my seventh team that I think has that.' Payton coached the Saints for 15 years and won one Super Bowl. He was the offensive mastermind who helped Drew Brees thrive as an all-time great quarterback.

Patriots' Mack Hollins wore a very different kind of shirt to practice for New England
Patriots' Mack Hollins wore a very different kind of shirt to practice for New England originally appeared on The Sporting News To be clear, no one is surprised that Mack Hollins did something a bit outside of the lines. It's just what the wide receiver does, from AFC East stops in Miami and Buffalo to his latest locale, the New England Patriots. It's still notable, though. Because you haven't seen an NFL player wear a shirt like this to practice before. Hollins' top almost looked like it had been cut into a bunch of pieces. The whole abdomen area was frilly, rather than one connected shirt. Why? The shirt dries quicker and helps him keep his receiver gloves dry. MORE: Lamar Jackson wants Ravens to be an unkindness Have a look: And yes, as usual, Mack is barefoot in that media scrum. That's another one of those things he does. It works because he's an effective, high-energy receiver and sometimes-special teams player. The 31-year old signed with New England this offseason after one campaign in Buffalo. MORE: Commanders' Terry McLaurin facing 'career-ending' scenario With the Bills, Hollins caught a career-high five touchdowns to go with 31 receptions for 378 yards. This is slated to be his eighth NFL season, also including stops in Philadelphia, Vegas and Atlanta in addition to the Dolphins and Bills. Hollins should slot in as a middle-of-the-depth-chart receiver for the Pats and Drake Maye. As long as he catches touchdowns, New England won't much care what sort of antics Hollins wants to break out, because they've gotten him this far.
