N.S. police seek witnesses, video footage of multi-vehicle collision near Millbrook
An RCMP vehicle is seen in this file photo. (CTV News Regina) Police in Nova Scotia's Colchester County are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Highway 102 Tuesday afternoon. Police, fire services and EHS responded to a report of a collision involving four vehicles at Exit 13A near Millbrook around 12:45 p.m. 'Responding officers learned that three northbound vehicles were stopped due to road construction and were struck from behind by a fourth vehicle, a white Kia Forte,' reads a news release from the Nova Scotia RCMP. Police say the driver and passenger of the Kia Forte were taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and a passenger of a grey Chevrolet Cruze were both taken to hospital – the driver by LifeFlight and the passenger by ambulance. According to police, the occupants of the other vehicles did not report injuries at the scene. An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing. Police ask any witnesses who have yet to be in contact with police or anyone with dashcam footage of the collision, construction zone, or the area around it before the collision occurred, to contact investigators at 902-893-6820 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Police arrest one of three suspects still wanted in Sudbury stabbings
Sudbury police arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with Monday's stabbing of a 41-year-old still critical condition. A 17-year-old was previously arrested.
