Trent Alexander-Arnold has a busy summer ahead, with the Club World Cup on the horizon with Real Madrid once he has left international duty - but there is a quirk he will have to get used to
Trent Alexander-Arnold is earning £220,000-a-week at Real Madrid – but those wages come with some strings attached. Alexander-Arnold has signed a six-year contract with Real after leaving his boyhood club Liverpool at the end of the season and will don the famous shirt for the first time soon.
Real paid Liverpool an £8.4million fee to sign the right-back before his contract expired at the end of June so that he can play in the Club World Cup. It's a good deal for Alexander-Arnold, who will be in line for a €1m (£843,000) bonus if Real lift the trophy on July 13.

It's been a profitable time for Alexander-Arnold, who is currently away with England ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Senegal, and who will swap Merseyside for Madrid this summer once the Club World Cup is out of the way. Once he has settled in, Alexander-Arnold will have to get used to one of the quirks that come with playing for Real.

The Spanish giants have a deal with car manufacturer BMW which means the players are only allowed to drive their models to the training ground. It means that Alexander-Arnold's favoured Range Rover P530, which he often drove into Liverpool's Kirkby base, won't be allowed.
His favourite car retails for £130,000 and it remains to be seen whether he will bring it with him from England to Spain. Thankfully, he will be equipped with a new model by BMW, who kit out the Real Madrid squad, as well as the women's team and basketball team, with cars to use throughout the season.
BMW only offer plug-in hybrid and electric models, which they then sell off as pre-owned models later on. Alexander-Arnold could therefore opt for a sporty BMW XM, which is a common sight at the gates of Real's training ground every morning.
Kylian Mbappe and Alexander Arnold's England team-mate Jude Bellingham drive that model, which has 653 horsepower and costs around £152,000. Meanwhile, Vinícius Junior opted for the BMW i7 M70 xDrive, which costs £157,000.
There is a similar deal in place at Bayern Munich, who have close ties with Audi, and only allow their players to drive their cars. Bayern have been sponsored by the German car manufacturer since 2002, with the brand also owning 8.33 per cent of the club, and they fine players who fall foul of the rules.
In Bavaria, players are reportedly allowed to drive Bentleys, Bugattis and Porches, because they are part of the Volkswagen group, but there are punishments for promoting other brands. Winger Kingsley Coman was reportedly fined £43,500 for driving his McLaren to training instead of his Audi.
