Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Kyle Outsmart Audra Or Is He in Over His Head?

Pink Villa26-05-2025
As the drama unfolds on The Young and the Restless this Monday, May 26, fans can expect tension and power plays to dominate the screen. Kyle Abbott and Audra Charles meet for a drink that's anything but casual, while Diane braces herself for a long-awaited homecoming that could stir old tensions.
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) follow through on their drink date, first teased in the May 23 episode. Despite Diane's (Susan Walters) warning, Kyle moves ahead—curious about the secrets Audra might spill and determined to stay a step ahead. His goal? Beat Audra at her own game.
But as the two meet at the GCAC jazz lounge and begin discussing cosmetic company strategies, it becomes clear that Kyle might be out of his depth. Even with insider tips from Claire Newman (Hayley Erin), Kyle appears uncertain about a deal Audra pitches—one she insists could benefit them both. A teaser clip from the Y&R preview shows Kyle clearly skeptical, raising the question: Is Kyle trying to manipulate Audra, or is he being played himself?
Meanwhile, Diane's storyline takes a more personal turn. With Traci (Beth Maitland) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) returning during the week of May 26-30, she anxiously awaits their response to the Abbott mansion renovations. Although Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle approved her changes, Billy (Jason Thompson) voiced strong opposition, accusing her of wiping away John Abbott's legacy. Diane's nerves may be justified, as spoilers hint that Traci is left 'speechless' upon seeing the new look—though whether that's good or bad remains to be seen.
With power dynamics shifting and emotional stakes rising, Monday's episode sets the stage for a dramatic week on The Young and the Restless. Will Kyle prove himself capable in this high-stakes game with Audra, or is he being played by someone savvier? And can Diane find peace within her new home—or will her efforts backfire? One thing's for sure: viewers won't want to miss a minute.

Janmashtami 2025: Know More About Lesser- Known Facts Of Krishnas Birthday

Janmashtami, the celebration of Lord Krishna's birth, is one of the most vibrant and spiritually significant festivals in India and around the world. While devotees observe fasts, sing bhajans, and participate in midnight celebrations, many lesser-known aspects of this divine festival make it even more fascinating. Here are some unknown facts about Krishna Janmashtami that reveal the depth of tradition, culture, and devotion associated with the occasion. 1. Krishna Was Born at Midnight in Prison Lord Krishna was born in Mathura, in a prison cell where his parents, Devaki and Vasudeva, were held captive by King Kansa. His birth at the stroke of midnight symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. 2. Janmashtami Is Celebrated for Two Days In many parts of India, Janmashtami is observed for two days. The first day is known as Krishna Jayanti or Gokulashtami, while the second day is called Dahi Handi or Nandotsav, symbolizing the joy and playful nature of Krishna. 3. Different Names Across India know the Festival While North India calls it Janmashtami, in Maharashtra it is celebrated as Dahi Handi, in South India as Sri Krishna Jayanthi, and in Gujarat as Makhan Handi. Each region has its traditions and unique ways of honoring Krishna. 4. Fasting on Janmashtami Is Different from Usual Vrats Devotees usually fast until midnight, breaking it only after Krishna's birth is celebrated with special prayers and rituals. Instead of regular food, people often consume satvik items like fruits, milk, and butter – Lord Krishna's favorite. 5. Dahi Handi Has a Historical Connection The popular tradition of Dahi Handi, where groups of young men form human pyramids to break a pot of curd hung high, reflects Krishna's childhood mischief of stealing butter and curd from the houses of Gopis. It has now become a competitive cultural event in Maharashtra. 6. ISKCON Temples Celebrate It Grandly Worldwide From Vrindavan to New York and London, ISKCON temples host grand celebrations with bhajans, raas-leela performances, and midnight aarti. Devotees across the globe gather to chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra on this auspicious night. 7. The Bhagavad Gita Is Recited on Janmashtami Many devotees spend the day reading or listening to passages from the Bhagavad Gita. Since Krishna is the speaker of this sacred text, reciting it on his birthday is considered highly auspicious. 8. Special Jhankis Depicting Krishna's Life Are Created Temples and homes often set up miniature models or jhankis that depict scenes from Krishna's life—his birth, childhood leelas, Govardhan lifting, and Raas-leela. These displays are both devotional and educational. 9. Janmashtami Is Not Just About Devotion but Also Community Bonding The festival brings people together through cultural performances, devotional singing, and group celebrations. It strengthens the sense of unity, joy, and shared spirituality in communities. 10. The Butter Connection Is More Than a Myth Krishna's love for butter isn't just a childhood tale—it symbolizes simplicity, purity, and the essence of nourishment. That's why butter and milk-based sweets like makhan misri and panjiri are offered as bhog on Janmashtami.

Why the cast of ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha' has the stage to thank for their roles on the screen

Set in the volatile 1970s, when a single move could tip the balance of power and trigger a global nuclear war, Saare Jahan Se Accha unfolds as India's R&AW and Pakistan's ISI clash in a deadly game of strategy. R&AW agent Vishnu Shankar (Pratik Gandhi) must outwit ISI agent Murtaza Mallik (Sunny Hinduja) in a race against time to prevent a major catastrophe. As Saare Jahan Se Accha, created by Gaurav Shukla and directed by Sumit Purohit, streams on Netflix, actors Pratik Gandhi, Sunny Hinduja and Anup Soni talk about being part of a stellar cast and how that enriches their experience. Excerpts: What's the draw to be part of an ensemble cast for the series Saare Jahan Se Accha? Anup Soni: Good actors, script and makers are the draw. Pratik Gandhi: During our growing up years, the only spy we knew of was James Bond, who had swag and cool gadgets. But a real spy works differently. They can't afford to have any kind of attention on them. Nobody knows what a real spy looks like. The way the writer-director visualised this is what adds to the uniqueness of the series. Sunny Hinduja: I would give credit to Gaurav Shukla and the team for the way they have visualised the plot, along with the nitty gritties of their personal lives. Pratik as R&AW agent may not want the spotlight on him but Sunny as an ISI agent has swag. Pratik Gandhi: That reflects the basic difference between how the agencies of different countries work. From what we have read, the R&AW works with a lot of restraint. Ultimately, they are working for their country and can kill for it. But when do they take such an extreme step is a key question. Sunny: You don't find interviews of agents. But the functioning and recruitment of ISI is different from how the R&AW goes about it. So, whatever I could gather from the script and learnt from the research, I tried to use that in my performance. Pratik, you played Harshad Mehta in Scam 1992 and now the titular protagonist in the new series Gandhi. What's your approach while essaying these characters? Pratik: When I am playing a real-life character, the ups and downs of their lives are usually known but what's going on in their mind when they are taking a major decision is not. That's open for interpretation and that's what I focus on. Vishnu's character in Saare Jahan Se Accha is fictional but we can assume that it is the blend of several real-life characters. Since he is fictional, I got a free hand to portray him. Also Read | From low-key to larger-than-life, the many faces of Indian spies onscreen Anup, you made your screen debut with Shanti (1994-98) nearly 30 years ago. How was that experience? Anup: Those days we just wanted to act, irrespective of the format. Shanti was unique as it was the first daily soap opera on Doordarshan. I tried for a role a couple of times but was not selected even though many of my friends were acting in it. I got a role in it in 1995 after its 100 episodes were over. All three of you have acted in theatre. Pratik: I feel alive on stage. You constantly calibrate yourself while performing in front of a live audience. Even though you play the same character several times, after 500 shows you may come up with something new — a nuance, a pause or a meaning. It teaches you that excellence is not a point, it's a constant journey. Anup: While performing in a play — I act in two running plays, Ballygunge 1990 and My Wife's 8th Vachan — one may believe that the eighth show was the best but later, the 40th show may appear to be the best. You constantly keep learning.
