
BisB Promotes 29 Bahrainis to Strengthen National Talent Pool
Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has announced the promotion of 29 Bahraini employees as part of its ongoing efforts to develop and invest in national talent. The promotions include 4 individuals at executive levels and 25 employees at other levels, representing 15% of the bank's total workforce.
These promotions reflect BisB's commitment to enhancing the skills and growth of its employees, while fostering a work environment that encourages innovation and development. By promoting talented Bahrainis across various departments, BisB continues to solidify its role as a leader in employing national talent within the private sector.

Tamkeen Announces New Intake for 'Mashroo3i' Program
The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) announced the opening of applications for a new intake of its 'Mashroo3i' program, designed for individuals with innovative ideas who aspire to enter the world of entrepreneurship. The program aims to strengthen the Kingdom's entrepreneurial ecosystem and encourage Bahraini youth to transform their innovative ideas into successful ventures. Through this program, Tamkeen offers Bahrainis with feasible business ideas, idea-stage startups, or early-stage startups the opportunity to join an intensive advisory program focused on developing key entrepreneurial skills. The program provides participants with the tools needed to turn their business concepts into viable business models or successful ventures. This edition of the program will feature two tracks: one offering training in Arabic and another in English, which aims to maximize the participation and impact to a wider audience. 'Design Your Future' Campaign Announces Ninth Edition of the Annual Business Quiz Show and Opens Registration for Companies and Banks
The 'Design Your Future' campaign has announced the launch of the ninth edition of its Annual Business Quiz Show, scheduled to take place on 24 August 2025. This announcement coincides with the beginning of the campaign's second edition, launched in strategic partnership with Mastercard, the official knowledge partner for this edition. The Design Your Future initiative is designed to support high school graduates, university students, and vocational training participants in adopting a structured and proactive approach to career planning and development. The Business Quiz Show forms an integral part of the campaign's broader objective to develop and highlight Bahraini talent across key national economic sectors. Participating companies and institutions will engage in quiz-based challenges designed to assess their industry knowledge and analytical skills in areas critical to Bahrain's positioning as a regional business and innovation hub. Registration is currently open for companies and corporates wishing to participate. This year's edition will take place over five evenings, with university students joining company teams to foster collaboration between emerging talents and business professionals. Each evening will focus on a specific sector, where four teams will compete in knowledge-driven rounds covering topics related to Bahrain's economic landscape and sector-specific developments.
