The company's reported gross bookings reached $1,238.64 billion, resulting in a 5% increase compared to the previous year. The group sold nearly one million airline tickets, with a total of 980,092. Alongside strengthening its market presence, in 2024 Trevolution Group launched several new initiatives and innovations, which include the introduction of Dreampass, a new travel app available on both the App Store and Google Play, and the launch of Dreampass Plus, a subscription membership feature within the app. The group also launched Vagamo, a new travel platform that combines flexible online booking with expert support, and introduced cryptocurrency payment options for flight bookings at Skylux Travel.
Trevolution Group has been a global leader in the travel industry for more than two decades, leveraging its expertise in the Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFR) segment, which continues to see strong growth to this day. In 2024, the company placed a strategic focus on its Online Travel Agency, Oojo, successfully launching it in Germany and achieving an impressive Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 60—well above the industry average of 35.
Key 2024 Highlights:
• Gross travel bookings, which refers to the total dollar value, generally inclusive of taxes and fees, reached $1,238.64 billion, reflecting a 5% increase compared to the previous year;
• The total number of unique tickets issued totaled 980,092, marking a 16% increase compared to 2023;
• With a 34% growth, one-way tickets represented 29% of the total tickets sold;
• The number of auxiliary products and services increased by 21% in the number of purchases compared to 2023;
• Dreampass, an all-in-one travel app, was launched, along with Dreampass Plus - a subscription loyalty program within the Dreampass app;
• Vagamo, a new travel platform offering flexible online booking with expert support, was introduced to the market.
The most popular travel destinations of the year for the Group's travelers were the United States, the Philippines, India, Italy and Canada, with Canada being the only newcomer to the top 5 rankings.
Demand for travel to Canada surged by 189%, while trips to Italy increased by 90%, with demand for Italy showing a consistent upward trend, maintaining the same growth rate as the previous year. Other destinations also experienced significant growth, with Argentina leading the way at a 146% increase, followed by Saudi Arabia (117%), Egypt (85%), Thailand (77%), and Pakistan (58%).
A similar trend was observed among top departure countries, with the United States, the Philippines, India, Canada, Italy, Nigeria and Turkey ranking among the most common starting points for global travelers.
In 2024, the Economy class remained the top choice among travelers, with total sales reaching 869,183 tickets, resulting in $828,52 million (66% of the overall gross booking). Business class also saw an increase, reaching 88,961 tickets and $357,67 million (34% of the overall gross booking), respectively.
Round-trip travel continued to dominate charts, accounting for 626,648 tickets—more than twice the number of one-way tickets, which totaled 285,328. While round-trip sales grew by 10%, one-way sales surged by 34%, highlighting a growing trend toward flexibility and last-minute travel decisions among most of the Group's passengers. The average fare for Economy class air travel decreased by 13%, while Business-class air travel stayed at nearly the same level, declining by 1%. In addition, the average ticket price declined by 16% for one-way tickets and by 8% for round-trip tickets.
In 2024, the top preferred airlines among Trevolution Group's customers were Turkish Airlines, United Airlines, Lufthansa, American Airlines, British Airways, and Philippine Airlines. Notably, Qatar Airways saw a remarkable surge in demand, with ticket sales soaring by 48%.
According to the latest sales data, there has been a shift towards longer advance purchase periods. The highest demand occurred for bookings made more than three months in advance, with over 30% of travelers opting for this window. At the same time, 17% of customers booked their flights within 10 days of departure. This trend highlights a growing divide in travel behavior, with passengers increasingly booking well in advance or opting for last-minute travel due to urgent needs.
Meanwhile, the average length of stay for customers shortened by two days in Economy class, and by one day in Business class, compared to the previous year, resulting in an average stay of 27 days for Economy and 23 days for Business; a shorter stay indicates increased travel efficiency and potential work and travel integration.
When it comes to purchasing auxiliary products and additional in-flight services, Trevolution Group experienced a 247% surge in demand for its lost baggage protection, making it one of the fastest-growing auxiliary products offered.
'In 2024, we embarked on a year of structural transformations, advancing the travel experience, building a comprehensive ecosystem, and securing greater benefits through industry partnerships. We launched Dreampass, a super-app, and Dreampass Plus, a premium subscription with perks like international data roaming and exclusive travel benefits. The all-in-one app resonated strongly with travelers, resulting in over 13,000 membership sales and generating $1.6 mln in revenue from the Dreampass Plus membership product within less than six months. We also initiated market expansion with our OTA, Oojo, which quickly gained traction and proved to be a major success story. Furthermore, we developed Vagamo, a next-generation hybrid travel platform that empowers travelers to book flights their way—whether by searching online for the best deals, receiving live support from expert travel agents, or accessing exclusive offline prices. These developments mark a significant step forward for Trevolution,' said Alex Weinstein, founder of the Dyninno Group of companies.

Bob Iger Says Disney Unlikely to Follow Comcast and Warner Bros. Discovery In Exiting the TV Channel Business
Will Disney follow Warner Bros. Discovery and Comcast in splitting off most of its TV assets from its streaming business? Don't bet on it. CEO Bob Iger appeared on CNBC Tuesday morning, where he was interviewed by David Faber about his company's acquisition of Comcast's share in Hulu, which was finalized Monday. More from The Hollywood Reporter Disney's House of Mouse Global Tour Debuts New Mickey & Friends Collabs and Disneyland Anniversary Merch in L.A. (Exclusive) Disney+ Inks New Deal to Bundle With Crave, TSN in Canada Inside Hollywood's Succession Wars But Faber also used the opportunity to ask whether Iger, who effectively kickstarted the idea of splitting linear TV from streaming in a CNBC interview two years ago, whether Disney is reevaluating its decision to keep its company together. Warner Bros. Discovery said Monday that it would split itself in two: One company with the studios and HBO Max streaming business, and another with its global TV networks. That move followed a similar decision from Comcast, which is spinning out most of its cable channels into Versant later this year, but keeping NBC, Bravo, Peacock and theme parks for itself. 'Soon after I returned to Disney, I put everything on the table and asked the team to evaluate whether we should buy Hulu or whether we should sell Hulu, whether we should sell our linear television networks or whether we should hold on to them, and after a pretty lengthy process internally, and really taking a long look at what these properties could mean to us, long term, we decided that the best course for us to take was to not only buy [Hulu] in its entirety, but also to hold on to the linear television networks and to integrate them seamlessly with our streaming business,' Iger said. 'What that has enabled us to do is aggregate revenue, both on the sub fee side and on the advertising side. There is still enough linear television subscribers to generate a significant amount of revenue in advertising and in subscription fees. We program them seamlessly, we manage them in one organization. And so there's been great economies of scale in doing that.' 'It's one of the things that's enabled us to turn the streaming business around from a huge loss to profitability, and over the next several years, it will enable us to grow margins significantly on the streaming side, because of the ability to amortize program costs and the ability to essentially aggregate audiences in revenue,' he added. 'It's also interesting to us that as many others exit that business, I think it gives us a stronger hand to stay in that business. We're very focused. We will have, interestingly enough, a linear television business that's paired with a streaming business. So when you think about it, these spin off companies won't have the assets from a streaming perspective that we will have.' And having a broadcast network like ABC is a big part of that. 'I think there's a lot more value in a broadcast network, again, if it's paired very, very seamlessly with a streaming business,' Iger said. 'I mean, you think about our core networks, obviously, ESPN is a big one. That will be connected, obviously, fully with ESPN's digital offering. Disney Channel is connected seamlessly with Disney Plus. FX and ABC have fed Hulu programming very effectively. And now when you think about all four, and we also have Nat Geo, which does the same with Disney Plus, when you think about those five networks and how they're programmed across linear and streaming, you've got a business that actually provides us an opportunity to not only grow, but to grow margins in the process as well. So, again, we like the direction we're going. We like the fact that we're one of the few that is doing this, because I think it sets us up to be even more competitive in a marketplace that's becoming even more fragmented.' Iger also said that Disney+ will most likely follow the path laid by Netflix, which stopped reporting its subscriber numbers on a quarterly basis. 'Probably,' Iger said, when asked by Faber if the company will pursue that strategy. 'We're focused on EBITDA and cash flow and growing margins, and that's, in fact, what we're doing. I think at some point, what we're mostly going to disclose is the bottom line.' 12 Reasons You Will Never Be A Multi-Millionaire
If becoming a multi-millionaire were easy, everyone would be doing it. There are over 22 million millionaires in the US, and likely many more on the path to reaching this level of wealth. The numbers get smaller as you move up the net worth scale. I want to share with you 12 hurdles you will need to overcome if you wish to become a multi-millionaire yourself. I recently helped a couple reach their financial freedom, a number of $10 million of liquid net worth that they could use to fund their lifestyle if they quit working. They are celebrating by taking a group of their closest friends on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. How amazing is that? While this number may be beyond what you need to retire comfortably, many of you may not feel you are living lavishly with the income provided by just a million dollars of net worth. Especially if most of your net worth is tied up in non-income-producing assets like your primary residence. This is why many of you reading this will likely want to plan to become multi-millionaires. Are you taking the simple but necessary steps to grow your wealth and reach financial freedom? Alternatively, are you mortgaging your financial future by making these 12 common financial mistakes that will keep you from ever building a significant net worth? Over the past 20+ years, I have been helping people bootstrap their way to building life-changing wealth. I've also seen people take mind-blowing income, seemingly make it disappear into thin air and end up in financial ruin. Either way, given enough time and perseverance, anyone can achieve the American Dream and become a multi-millionaire. Do I think this will be harder today than it has been in the past? Perhaps, but hey, play the hand you've been dealt and make the most of the opportunities you have available to you. Here, we will cover some of the most common issues that can prevent you from joining the millions of Americans who have already become members of the not-so-exclusive Multi-Millionaire Club. I could argue that it has never been harder to invest well, given the constant news at our fingertips and the ability to trade on our iPhones 24 hours a day. You could also say it has never been easier just to set it and forget it with a well-diversified portfolio of a few amazing index funds. You will just get average market returns, but here's the news: these returns are typically way better than what most people achieve by stressing themselves out by buying and selling individual investments over time. It will be nearly impossible for the typical worker to become a self-made multi-millionaire without at least doing some type of investing. Yes, you could try and wait for a big inheritance or marry into money and strike it rich. There aren't enough wealthy parents or single people for all of us to follow these routes to becoming multi-millionaires. Therefore, it is likely that you will need to invest. You may find comfort in the illusion of security that comes with hiding your life savings under the mattress. Still, you are losing money every day as inflation erodes your purchasing power. If you want to achieve and maintain financial freedom, you will need the help of compounding interest via some type of investing. There are risks associated with investing in anything from stocks to bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and even when buying real estate. However, the risks of not investing are even greater to your long-term financial security. By not taking any investment risk, you are essentially guaranteeing what you are most afraid of: running out of money in retirement. (Example) How to Accumulate $2 Million: This is a simple example of the magic of compounding interest. The same result, but you can get away with saving a whopping 95% less! Putting this another way, if you saved $2,708 per month from 22 to 70 and earned 10% interest, you would have accumulated over $38 million. Think of how fabulous your lifestyle could be with a passive income stream generated from $38 million. Assuming you've overcome your irrational fear of investing and have crafted the perfect investment plan (or had the help of a fiduciary financial planner to create the best investment plan for your financial needs) if you don't contribute enough along the way, you will never become a multi-millionaire. After all, it is not what you make but what you keep. I know plenty of high-income folks without a pot to piss in – I do have the pleasure of living in West Hollywood, within walking distance of Beverly Hills, where some tend to care more about spending their money on flashy cars and designer clothes and jewelry than actually saving and investing it. On the other hand, I appreciate the stories of ordinary workers with average incomes who have amassed staggering amounts of wealth over their lifetimes. Do yourself a favor and stop procrastinating; there will never be a better day to begin saving than today. With enough time, it doesn't take a huge amount each month to become a multi-millionaire. Above, we mentioned $141 per month to become a multi-millionaire, which is like a few smoothies at Erewhon and less than a monthly gym membership at Equinox. Even if you can only save a tiny amount, you will be better off than if you never started at all. I bet you will be surprised by how you don't even miss the money you are saving. That tiny savings rate can grow over time into something substantial. Amenities that were once a luxury are now considered necessities. Not to mention, the cost of living has skyrocketed over the past few years, driving up the cost of everything. The Trump tariffs, if fully enacted, could drive up the cost an additional 10-150%+ on almost everything you buy. It is easy to see how so many people struggle to save a bunch of money each month. Many people try to finance their American dreams. Their budgets are pushed to the breaking point. Some live paycheck to paycheck, while others fall into the costly trap of credit card debt. The best-case scenario here is that you are not accumulating any wealth. The worst case is that you are setting yourself up for bankruptcy or having to work forever. Constantly drowning under an insurmountable pile of consumer debt is stressful and costly. Pay yourself first and make living within your means and getting on track for financial freedom a priority. This mistake also goes hand in hand with living beyond your means. So many people are drowning in debt. It blows my mind. One person I met had $51,000 in credit card debt. This translated into over $10,000 in interest per year just to stay even. (What would you do with an extra $10,000 per year?) I met them after they had taken some drastic steps to get their debt under control and finally paid off. It wasn't easy, but it was necessary. Good debt, such as a mortgage, business loan, or, arguably, student loans, can help you build wealth over time. Consumer debt (credit cards) – will likely be a major hurdle to achieving financial freedom. You are busy, life is stressful and you probably don't want to think about getting the best deal on every purchase. I get it. But $20 here and $150 there can really add up, especially when they happen on a regular basis. Recently, I was booking a flight, and for some reason, a premium economy seat was more expensive than one in business class. So, I saved money by buying a better class of service. Sometimes, saving money can be fabulous. Other times, it is just buying your toilet paper at Costco, where it is half the price of the grocery store. It may just seem like a few dollars each time you throw money down the drain. But if you invested those few dollars over time, it could mean the difference between running out of money in retirement or maintaining financial freedom as you age. Unhealthy choices can lead to a cascade of painful expenses and, ultimately, even more pain. Someone I know put off getting treatment for a minor knee injury, initially saving some money in medical bills. The minor injury eventually developed into a more serious issue, ultimately requiring surgery. Even with excellent health insurance, the out-of-pocket costs were substantial for surgery and post-op physical therapy. However, the cost of missed work, bonuses and career progression were even more significant than the medical bills. Not surprisingly, 98% of millionaires consider their health to be their most important personal asset, according to a recent study by US Trust. Without your health, no amount of money can buy back your quality of life. Yes, plastic surgery may be able to make you look healthier, but it doesn't actually improve your overall health. As a financial planner and health enthusiast, I encourage you to take the time and invest in the necessary screenings and physical exams to maintain optimal health. Look to exercise (more) and increase the health value of the food you consume. I am aware that real food (even better if it is organic) will cost more than highly processed food, but this is the one area I almost always advocate for people to spend more. As the owner of a wealth management firm, I think my being healthy (and feeling good) should translate into a more profitable business. We don't make money when we are sick at home. Do you cringe every time you hear the word budget? I understand; I do, too, which is why I try to operate within a spending plan. When people are good with money, they are not just treating their spending choices as a random event. The money will not just take care of itself. Yet, many people are surprised when that monthly bill pops up (yet again, every month) on their credit card or bank statement. Simply put, a spending plan is about managing your financial expectations to avoid unwelcome surprises so you will still have money left over for the better things in life. Think fabulous vacations, clothes, regular massages or even money for a babysitter. It's not what you make but what you keep. Many people love to get big tax refunds; it feels like found money, right? No! The reality is that if you get a big tax refund, you have just given the government an interest-free loan. All this while you are suffering the consequences of paying sky-high credit card interest for the privilege. Proactive tax planning is a major part of becoming a multi-millionaire. The more money you have will often lead to more taxes each year. The dividends from a $10,000 account may not really change your taxes much. Once your account reaches million-dollar balances, the annual taxes can be painful, especially if you aren't invested in tax-efficient investments or portfolios. Many people only think about taxes when they file their annual tax returns. In many cases, this can lead to missing out on valuable tax-planning opportunities and result in overpaying your taxes each year. This will slow down your progress to becoming a multi-millionaire. Vanguard estimates that working with an average financial advisor can add 3-4% to your investment return each year over time. Think of how much value you could potentially receive if you were working with a fabulous fiduciary financial planner. To put this in perspective, if you saved $1,000 per month and earned 6% interest from age 22 to 70, you would accumulate around $3.3 million. That is pretty nice, but if a financial advisor were able to help you bump that up to 10% per year, you would end up with over $14.1 million. You would save the same amount, but you could possibly end up with more than four times the net worth. That is pretty fabulous if you ask me. If you hate your job or career, it will show. This can result in slower career advancement over time. While it may be easier said than done, choosing the right career path that offers the potential to earn enough to support your desired lifestyle and is something you genuinely enjoy is a major life quest for many. You may need to balance taking a job you like (versus one you love) to earn the money you need to bring more happiness to other parts of your life. Obviously, some careers have more income potential than others. More income does make it easier to build more wealth over time. First off, divorce is expensive. If you save up and become a multi-millionaire, then you have to split everything in divorce; well, that doesn't sound like fun. Likewise, choosing the wrong spouse will make your quest to become a multi-millionaire much more difficult. If one spouse is a spender and the other is a saver, the spender tends to win. When considering a life partner, don't forget to consider how you each think about money. Those who have a purpose or passion in life make it easier for themselves to get up every morning. Over the years, I've observed that many of my happiest and most successful wealth management clients actually love what they do. They move through life with an extra spring in their steps. Some reached financial freedom long ago and continue to work. Others pivoted to a second career that brought them more joy. It may be tempting to choose a job or career path primarily based on the salary. Also, consider the quality of life that it will ultimately provide for you and your loved ones. Follow your passions and dreams, and money will follow, as the saying goes. At the risk of coming across as overly optimistic, I've seen real-life examples of this over and over again in my career, helping people improve their lives through financial guidance. You don't have to do this financial stuff alone. Work with a fun, fiduciary financial planner to get your financial house in order, and you, too, could achieve wealth beyond your wildest dreams. In case you were wondering, there are around 4.8 million people with a net worth of $5 million or more. Perhaps one day you can be one of them.

I Just Went to Japan With 10 Friends—These 13 Essentials Are Game-changers for Group Trips, From $19
When I told people I was planning a trip to Japan with 10 of my friends, I got many wide-eyed responses. That's understandable: Group travel is anything but easy. It requires a lot of patience, planning, and compromise. However, when a friend and I proposed this trip to our group chat last year, it was met with resounding interest, which is how we ended up planning a vacation across the world with nearly a dozen people. For the most part, we kept our itinerary flexible, which provided space for everyone to choose whatever activities would bring them joy. However, despite our casualness with the schedule, one thing we were stringent about before the trip was luggage efficiency. When I surveyed my friends post-trip, one of the tips we all agreed on was to pack as light as possible and leave room in your suitcase—because, let's face it, you will likely do some shopping when you get to your destination. I'd also suggest sticking to a specific color scheme with your clothes—earthy neutrals are always a good choice—so you can mix and match all the items in your streamlined wardrobe. From comfy sneakers to packing cubes, these are all the essentials I'd recommend bringing with you on a multi-destination trip to make your journeys even more enjoyable. Many people will likely tell you to buy extra luggage on overseas trips so you can bring all your souvenirs home. I don't like having an additional item on my to-do list while on vacation, so I opted for a carry-on suitcase that expands. I swear by the Away Carry-on Flex, which is available in two sizes. I've taken this suitcase all over the world, and it has been so reliable. Even in its compact form, this petite suitcase holds so much—and I love that I can expand it at the end of a trip and even (gasp!) check the bag on my way home if needed. To keep your luggage organized and streamlined, packing cubes are a must. I personally love these from Bagsmart because they're super lightweight, impressively compress your clothes into neat, little packages, and make organizing all your clothes a breeze. I also use these for keeping shoes separated from my clothes, and simply place the perforated side facing down to keep them extra secure. Travel pouches can help keep your essentials (like cords, cosmetics, or documents) organized and easy to grab, whether you're keeping them in your personal item or carry-on. Two of my friends used this particular Amazon trio of pouches on our trip to Japan and gave them rave reviews. I don't know about you, but I find my phone battery drains even faster when I'm on vacation—the combination of using map apps, plus taking ample photos and videos, leaves my phone fighting for its life before the day is through. That's where a portable charger comes in handy, especially if you're out and about all day. A friend of mine and my husband both packed these, and it was a total lifesaver when any of our phone batteries were dipping. I love a good matching set, and I think they come in handy when you're packing for a long trip. On this trip to Japan, I packed the Aritzia Limitless Pant and the matching Regal Vest—and I can't recommend this duo enough. These items are super versatile: I loved pairing the pants with a T-shirt or a white button-down and the vest with jeans or a skirt. More perks of the pants: They are wildly comfortable while still looking polished, and they don't wrinkle easily in your bag. It might seem simple, but well-tailored tees are a packing must for any warm-weather trip. I'm incredibly picky about my T-shirts: They have to be well-made, soft, comfortable, not too tight, and perfectly structured. My current favorite T-shirts, which of course made their way to Japan with me, are the Madewell Cotton Relaxed Oversized Tee and the Aritizia Soft Feels All-time T-shirt. One of my guy friends on the trip also raved about these Relaxed Premium Cotton T-shirts, which he owns in every color. What I love about long skirts is that you can dress them up or down, and they're so lightweight and breezy. This high-waisted option from Amazon has over 1,200 five-star ratings and comes in a whopping 42 different colors and patterns. During this trip, my friends and I walked an average of 25,000 steps a day, so solid walking shoes made all the difference. I packed my Alo Runners, which are quickly becoming some of my favorite travel shoes. These minimalist sneakers look nice enough to wear with jeans or tailored slacks—and since they're designed for running, they're supportive and well-suited for copious daily mileage. On the first day of the trip, I didn't slip my insoles into my sneakers—and it was a huge mistake. My hips were achy, my shins felt sore, and my feet just generally felt like they'd been beaten up. When I wore my insoles the next day, however, I felt like I could have walked all day (and honestly, I did). My favorite insoles are from the brand Superfeet: I prefer the high arch support style, but they're also available in various other options to fit your needs. I truly can't recommend these enough, especially if you plan to do some serious walking on your trip. On the days the temperatures spiked in Japan, it was nice to give my feet a breather by wearing sandals. I packed the Nisola Flatform Sandals, which have a small platform, solid tread on the sole, and awesome arch support, so I felt like I was wearing something sturdy while walking for miles. I also love that these leather sandals appear a bit more polished than a simple slide, so they're versatile and work with virtually any outfit. As an alternative to a backpack, I'm a big fan of nylon sling bags. These tiny packs are incredibly lightweight, surprisingly spacious, and also easy to shove into your carry-on luggage. I brought the FP Movement Bulls Eye Sling Bag, and I was shocked by how well it fit all my essentials, including my digital camera. My husband was such a fan of the bag that he ended up buying a similar style from Uniqlo. It's always smart to have a lightweight rain jacket on hand if the weather takes a turn. I packed this FP Movement Colorblock Jacket, and it worked like a charm (plus, it aligned with my neutral color scheme). While it's not technically a rain jacket, I found this ultra-lightweight windbreaker to be a great barrier to the wet weather, and it barely took up any space in my luggage. Again, people will tell you to buy new luggage or even bring an additional suitcase with you—instead, I'm partial to a backup duffel. I love this one from Mystery Ranch, but this Amazon Basics duffel could also be a more budget-friendly pick at just $18. Love a great deal?
