'Param Sundari': Instagram removes Pavithra Menon's video slamming Janhvi Kapoor's accent, citing THIS issue

The trailer of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor 's upcoming film 'Param Sundari' received massive love as well as backlash. It was criticized for stereotypical representation of Kerala and Janhvi's Malayali accent. One of the videos slamming the trailer was of Malayalam singer Pavithra Menon. It went viral on the internet quickly. However, it has been removed from her profile, not by her, but by Instagram. Here's what happened. Instagram removes Pavithra Menon's video of lashing out at Janhvi Kapoor's Malayali accent in the 'Param Sundari' trailer Pavithra revealed that the social media platform has removed her post after it received a copyright strike from "a third party." She dropped a screenshot of the notice she received for the same. The message on the notice read, "We removed the following content you posted on Instagram because we received a notice from a third party that it infringes their copyright." The singer took a straight dig at the notice and the makers in her caption. She wrote, "Happy Independence Day to everyone who has a voice." More about Pavithra Menon's video In her video, Pavithra questioned the makers' decision to not cast a Malayalam actor as the female lead. She said, "What's the problem in hiring a proper Malayali actor? Hum kam talented hote hain kya?" She added that the Malayalam cinema used to do such things during the 90s when a scene was required to show Punjabis. The singer pointed out that it's 2025 and people know how a Malayali person talks in general. At the end, she said, "We don't just wear jasmine flowers and do Mohiniyattam everywhere." More about 'Param Sundari' Helmed by Tushar Jalota , the film is backed by Dinesh Vijan . US Singer Admits To Cheating On His Wife While On Tour: "I Broke Her Heart"

Michael Franti, the lead singer of Spearhead, recently revealed a personal struggle with infidelity in an Instagram message to his over 262,000 followers. The 59-year-old singer confessed to having an affair seven years ago while on tour with another artist, which his wife discovered, leading to significant turmoil in their family life. In the post, Mr Franti expressed deep remorse for breaking his marital vows and betraying his wife's trust, acknowledging the immense emotional distress he caused. "7 years ago, I had a romantic relationship outside my marriage. It was with an artist who was touring with me. I broke my wedding vows, I broke my wife's trust, I broke her heart, and for that am deeply sorry for the pain my actions have caused her," he wrote. "Over the course of the tour, we spent a lot of time together and soon began to feel strong emotions for one another. Eventually, I made the most regrettable mistake of allowing the relationship to become romantic. My wife found out about it, and to save my marriage, we ended the relationship. The artist stayed on tour with us, and we maintained a professional relationship. After the tour ended, she continued to perform at several shows," the singer-musician added. See the post here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Michael Franti (@michaelfranti) Notably, his decision to come forward publicly is said to be influenced by Victoria Canal's allegations. Singer-songwriter Victoria Canal recently revealed that she had a year-long abusive relationship with an older, "very powerful" man in the music industry. She shared the allegations in an Instagram post last Monday. Without naming the individual, Ms Canal claimed she was "groomed and manipulated." View this post on Instagram A post shared by vc (@victoriacanal) In his statement, Mr Franti acknowledged the artist's recent posts about their relationship but dismissed the abuse. He wrote, "I'm aware of the recent posts this artist made about our relationship, and while I support her need to express herself publicly, the relationship was completely consensual, based on mutual feelings and attraction. I vehemently dispute any version of the story that says otherwise. I will, however, take full accountability for not better recognising the power imbalance as she was younger than me, and was the headliner on tour." As a result of the allegations, the Soulshine at Sea music cruise, scheduled for November 4-8, 2025, was cancelled. Several artists, including Dispatch, Maggie Rose, Hirie, and Liz Vice, withdrew from the event, prompting festival promoter Sixthman to announce the cancellation. She is also a philanthropist, founding 'Do It For Love', a non-profit wish-granting organisation based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, she serves as CEO of Soulshine Bali, a sound and wellness resort in Indonesia that she co-owns with Mr Franti. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and has two children together, born in 2018 and May 2025.

HasanAbi vs Ethan Klein's wife, Hila Klein, controversy explained

(Image via @hasandpiker & @kleinhila/ Instagram) Political streamer and internet personality HasanAbi has once again found himself in the middle of a controversy after a clip involving Hila Klein, wife of Ethan Klein, went viral. A clip from his August 17, 2025, livestream went viral on Reddit and X and sparked a lot of reactions from fans and haters alike. The controversy started after Hasan made some comments on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and reportedly signaled to Hila. HasanAbi's viral comments during livestream During a Just Chatting broadcast, HasanAbi argued that violent resistance against Israeli settlers and forces was, in his words, 'perfectly legal, perfectly valid, and perfectly moral.' He didn't mention Hila Klein by name at first, but added that it applied even 'if it's your favorite podcaster's, like, wife that participated in these raids.' Viewers instantly linked this to Hila, who was born in Israel and often discussed on the H3 Podcast. The blunt phrasing, especially tying Hila to military raids caught fire across social media. Many saw it as Hasan indirectly labeling her a 'valid target,' while others argued it was an exaggerated, clipped moment pulled out of his broader political stance. Clarification and response from HasanAbi Streamer Asmongold jumped into the debate, saying Hasan's framing was reckless and misleading. He noted that suggesting Hila could be attacked was dangerous and plainly illegal. HasanAbi quickly responded on-stream, insisting critics misunderstood him. He clarified that his statement referred specifically to anyone participating in raids, not to Hila living her normal life. 'Of course, if someone were to attack Hila Klein right now, of course, they should go to jail,' he shot back, calling Asmongold's interpretation 'idiocy.' Hila Klein fires back on Instagram Hila, however, wasn't letting it slide. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she accused Hasan of targeting her as a way of getting at her husband. In a sharp statement, the 37-year-old wrote that Hasan 'uses women to whatever end he needs' and even referenced past allegations of him exposing women's private images. 'This is just another glimpse into the psyche of a man that does not see women as his equal,' she posted, sparking even more discourse across platforms. HasanAbi's blunt reaction fuels the fire HasanAbi also took a jab at Hila and said that Hila's response is 'literally girl-bossing genocide defense.' The jab only added fuel to the fire, ensuring the spat dominated timelines well into the night. For now, the clash between HasanAbi and the Kleins is going viral, and people all over the world are voicing their opinions and POVs on the matter.
