There's no doubt Charles Woodson left an incredible mark on the NFL. Now, it looks like he's making just as big of an impact off the field.
Already known for his passion for wine, Woodson has his own label, TwentyFour by Charles Woodson. Based in Napa, California, the winery continues to grow in popularity. But now, Woodson is stepping into an even busier role — this time back in the NFL but in a new capacity.

Dianna Russini, an NFL insider for The Athletic and host of the "Scoop City" podcast, shared the news about the Pro Football Hall of Famer's next venture:
"Hall of Famer Charles Woodson is set to purchase a 0.1% stake in the Browns from the Haslam family."
Russini added: "The sale is contingent upon Woodson agreeing to similar broadcasting restrictions to Raiders owner Tom Brady and removing his name, image and likeness from businesses he is involved in."
Woodson has already made a name for himself in the media world. He was part of ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown" from 2016 to 2018, then transitioned to Fox Sports as a college football analyst.

That same season, he also picked up the Walter Camp, Chuck Bednarik and Bronko Nagurski awards and earned first-team All-American honors.
He was selected fourth overall in the 1998 NFL draft and went on to set the record for most consecutive seasons with an interception returned for a touchdown (six). Woodson finished his career with 65 interceptions, 13 defensive touchdowns and 20 sacks.

His NFL journey spanned from 1998 to 2015, playing for both the then-Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers. He began his career with the Raiders from 1998 to 2005, then joined the Packers, before returning to the Raiders from 2013 to 2015.
Woodson was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998 and NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2009. He was selected to nine Pro Bowls and capped off his illustrious career with a Super Bowl XLV victory. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.

Ex-Rams long snapper Jake McQuaide disrupts church by demanding answers in porn scandal

It's not easy for NFL long snappers to stand out, their exacting trade hinging exclusively on repeating the same action without fail or fanfare. Yet Jake McQuaide, the former Rams two-time Pro Bowl long snapper and veteran of 14 NFL seasons, drew attention Saturday when he stood up. McQuaide rose during Mass at an Ohio Catholic church and snapped at Jason Williams, chancellor of the Cincinnati Archdiocese, demanding answers about rumors that two priests had viewed pornography on a parish computer. Shortly thereafter, McQuaide was removed from the sanctuary by police officers. During the outburst, McQuaide seemed to channel Sister Aloysius — Meryl Streep's character in the 2008 film "Doubt," — when he loudly questioned Williams, saying 'We want to put these rumors to rest. Can you answer this for me, fact or fiction?' I will stand up. Did the priest use our parish computer to look at pornography? …True or false? True or false?' McQuaide's challenge occurred while Williams was reading a letter from Archbishop Robert Casey to the Our Lady of Visitation congregation that said the rumors were investigated and "no wrongdoing — either criminally or ecclesiastically — has been substantiated." The letter also said that one of the priests was taking a 'previously planned sabbatical." "Like gossip, the spreading of rumors is sinful, and we should all work to overcome this tendency of our fallen human nature," the letter said. Two Green Township police officers escorted McQuaide from the church. McQuaide was not charged, according to the police. After attending Ohio State, McQuaide served as the Rams long snapper for 10 years, beginning in 2011 when the franchise was in St. Louis and ending after the 2021 season. Since then he has played for the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins, having appeared in 197 career games. Oregon Football's Kenyon Sadiq pegged as breakout NFL draft riser for 2025

Oregon Football's Kenyon Sadiq pegged as breakout NFL draft riser for 2025 In 2025, all signs point towards Kenyon Sadiq becoming a household name for the Oregon Ducks. With his talent, Sadiq would have been most anyone else's starting tight end for the past two seasons, but he had to play a backup role to Terrance Ferguson. Now it's his time to shine. Sadiq is one of the more experienced receivers on the Duck roster this coming season, and he's expected to have a breakout season in 2025. As a result, with his size, NFL scouts should have a field day rating him. Sadiq will be a hot commodity when the NFL draft rolls around. According to USA TODAY writer Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, Sadiq could go high in the 2026 NFL selection process. "With second-round tight end Terrence Ferguson and top receivers Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden off to the NFL, the Ducks are set for a reconfiguration in their receiving corps," he said. "Big things are expected of Evan Stewart as the former five-star recruit enters his second season in Eugene after transferring from Texas A&M, but Sadiq might be the true wild card for the offense. "At 6-3 and 245 pounds, he's a more formidable run blocker than his size might suggest. His true value, however, lies in his ability to create mismatches as a supersized receiver with impressive long speed. Sadiq will have to show he can handle being a featured part of the Ducks' offense and develop into something more than a seam threat, but he's one of the most intriguing draft-eligible tight ends to keep an eye on." The Oregon offense isn't expected to change a whole lot with quarterback Dante Moore under center, but just because of Sadiq's pure talent, the Ducks might go to him more, especially in the red zone and goal-line situations. He showed what he can do in those situations in the Big Ten title game, as he scored two touchdowns in the win over Penn State. Oregon fans have said, "More of that, please," and the Ducks are about to oblige. Georgia football offers son of former UGA All-American

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star linebacker recruit Thomas Davis Jr., who is the son of Georgia football legend Thomas Davis Sr. Georgia is making a late push for Davis Jr. The four-star linebacker committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish back in November, but Georgia has a strong pitch to land the talented linebacker prospect. Advertisement Georgia helped develop Davis Jr.'s father, Thomas Davis Sr., into a first-round pick in the 2005 NFL draft. Davis Sr. played safety at Georgia from 2002-2004. He changed positions to linebacker in the NFL and blossomed with the Carolina Panthers. Davis Sr. played for Carolina for 13 seasons and made three Pro Bowl appearances. At Georgia, he was selected to the All-SEC first team in 2003 and 2004 and earned a consensus All-American selection in 2004. We'll see if Davis Jr. wants to follow in his father's footsteps or if he prefers to blaze his own path. Regardless of what he decides, Davis Jr. is expected to make a name for himself. Davis Jr. plays for Weddington High School, which is located in Matthews, North Carolina. Davis Jr. is the No. 170 prospect in the class of 2026. He is the No. 11 linebacker in the nation and the No. 11 recruit in North Carolina. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker is exactly what Georgia is looking for at the position. Davis Jr. is a versatile athlete that runs track and plays basketball in addition to playing football. Georgia's elite development of linebackers Georgia safety Thomas Davis sets on defense Georgia has developed the linebacker position better than any other college football program in recent history. The Bulldogs produced two linebackers as first-round picks in the 2025 NFL draft in Jalon Walker and Mykel Williams (arguably a defensive end). Advertisement Georgia has had nine linebackers (includes Williams and Robert Beal) selected over the past five NFL drafts. The Bulldogs have done an elite job of recruiting and developing linebacker talent, which should be a big drawn for Davis Jr. This article originally appeared on UGA Wire: UGA offers son of Georgia football legend, but it may be too late
