Vanna White Is Reportedly 'Worried' Her 'Wheel Of Fortune' Days Are Numbered
The media personality is reportedly in a state of panic over the possibility of being replaced on her eight-figure-earning hosting job.
Vanna White joined the famous show "Wheel of Fortune" in 1982 as a co-host alongside television veteran Pat Sajak. Now, she is the new host, Ryan Seacrest's partner in progress.
Sources close to the show are stating that Pat's daughter, Maggie Sajak, stands out as a likely replacement for the 68-year-old. Maggie reportedly joined the show as its social correspondent in 2021, which means she is not a stranger to how things run on and off the screen.
Although insiders confirm that no offers have been put on the table yet, Maggie remains an attractive choice because she is younger and a more prudent option.
Maggie reportedly earns significantly less than Vanna's $10 million per year, and the show's producers view her as a way to cut costs. "It's no wonder Vanna is worried," the source noted.
Sources also reveal that her latest significant salary increase, which was negotiated after Pat's replacement, Ryan Seacrest, reportedly more than tripled her previous earnings.
Vanna's contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026, and the powers that be are not willing to sit down at the discussion table for any more increases.
Another insider explained to RadarOnline that the TV host was able to have things go her way the last time because the producers and the network were in a different position. However, now things may not work in her favor, and she is reportedly concerned because "what other gig pays $10 million for only 34 days of work?"
Yes, Vanna gets paid a sumptuous $10 million a year for appearing on set for a total of 34 days. Back in March, E! Online shared the version of events from Vanna's POV when she appeared on the Morning Show.
In her words, "We film about 34 days a year. That's it. But we film six shows a day. Come on, you could feel bad for me." Vanna did not get any sympathy for apparently having such a great time at her job, but the host shared that she does not see her days off as any form of vacation.
She also explained how the show producers made her job easier by switching from a manually controlled system to a high-tech environment that allows her to do fewer physical tasks while on set.
Vanna noted that the production team installed a laser system that works in conjunction with her hand motion to "light up" the letters and perform other functions.
Co-hosting the "Wheel of Fortune" for decades has earned the TV personality "a half-hour of family, and escape from much." She emphasized that the show leaves a positive trail in her path, and she enjoys "being part of that."
The South Carolina native proved she is still young at heart when she got her first-ever tattoo earlier in the year from her daughter, Gigi Santo Pietro. Vanna welcomed her daughter, Gigi, and her son, Nikko, with her ex-husband, George Santo Pierro, before their divorce in 2002.
The Blast reported that Vanna revealed she decided to get the pink-hued tattoo in her inner wrist so she could get a good look at it daily and think about her daughter. Although her daughter did the honors of giving her her first ink, Vanna clarified that it was 100% her choice to go through with the process.
The 68-year-old nervously settled for her daughter's favorite shade of pink after minutes of deliberation. During the process, she was surprised it did not hurt as much as she had pictured it in her head.
When her tattoo was finally revealed, Vanna cheered and, with a thankful heart, noted to her daughter that it was exactly what she had wanted.
Tattoos are not the only thing that elates the former beauty pageant contestant. The pace of her current relationship with John Donaldson also makes her smile.
The actress revealed during an interview that while they have not made things official by walking down the aisle, they maintain a deep level of commitment towards each other.
She described Donaldson as the masculine version of herself, who understands her person and vice versa. Vanna noted that they have been a couple for 12 years and often feel like they are a married couple.
"Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he's the one. He knows I'm the one," the author declared.
She continued that the topic of marriage rarely comes up in their conversations because they are aware of their feelings for each other.
The multi-talented personality also gives excellent advice, and Ryan attested to this when he began his role as Pat's replacement on the show.
The 50-year-old recalled that Vanna encouraged him to go out there and have a blast. Vanna reportedly educated him about the show and how it affords one the advantage to loosen up and be the best version of themselves.
"It has a little looseness to it. It doesn't have to be so strict and so formatted. It has those moments of real life and humanity," said the 68-year-old to the former "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" producer.
Ryan filled Pat's big shoes as the show's new host in 2024, taking over the baton from Pat, who had brought smiles to the faces of contestants on the beloved game show for four decades.
"Thank you for the very warm welcome. Hosting 'Wheel of Fortune' is a dream job. I've been a fan of this show since I was a kid watching it in Atlanta with my family," Ryan declared in his debut episode for the show's 42nd season, which premiered last September.
What does the future hold for Vanna White as 2026 approaches?

Woman Walks Out of Baby Shower She Hosted After Mom-to-Be Jokes About Her Infertility
A woman says she walked out of a baby shower she co-hosted after the mom-to-be made a joke about infertility In a post on Reddit, the woman writes that she's been struggling with infertility "for a few years" — and the woman who made the joke is well aware of that The woman later claimed she was "just kidding," but the damage had been doneA woman who co-hosted a baby shower for a friend says she walked out of the event after the mom-to-be made a joke about her infertility struggles. In a post shared to Reddit, the anonymous 35-year-old writes that she helped plan a baby shower for her friend Anna, who is having her second child. "I bought decorations, split costs, baked cupcakes, all the things," she writes, adding: "For context, I've been dealing with infertility for a few years. Anna knows this." She continues: "During the shower, we were playing a trivia game about babies, and Anna joked, 'Well, [my name] will lose this one, obviously, she's not exactly an expert on babies.' Some people laughed awkwardly, and I just… froze. I excused myself and left without saying much." Anna later texted saying she was 'just kidding,' and accused the woman of making things "weird.' "Another mutual friend said I should've stayed and not made it about me," she writes. "Am I overreacting by being hurt and walking out?" Other Reddit users say the woman didn't overreact at all, with one writing, "It was about you, that's why you left. I'm glad you stuck up for yourself. You deserve friends that don't expect your most painful experiences to be fodder for their public or private 'jokes' about you. And you deserve friends who stand up for you when you're wronged instead of cowering at the feet of the bully who wronged you for the sake of peace or not rocking the boat or whatever." Adds another: "That's heartbreaking and honestly, that comment was cruel and insensitive. You absolutely deserved better support, not hurtful remarks." Read the original article on People

Eva Pilgrim Jumps to ‘Inside Edition' from ABC News' ‘GMA3'
Eva Pilgrim will take up anchor duties at CBS' syndicated newsmagazine 'Inside Edition' starting in the fall, throwing talent plans for her current home, ABC News' 'GMA3' into question as the Disney network tries to make that afternoon program more a part of its overall 'Good Morning America' franchise. 'We feel like we won the jackpot to have Eva join our team as the next anchor of 'Inside Edition,' said Charles Lachman, the program's executive producer, in a statement. 'She has solid news chops from her years as a reporter and anchor in national and local news, plus a warm relatability that resonates with audiences. We look forward to having a journalist of her caliber take 'Inside Edition' into its next chapter.' (Guest Column) Paramount to Pay Trump $16 Million to Settle '60 Minutes' Lawsuit Deborah Norville has anchored 'Inside Edition' since 1995, backed up by Mary Calvi, a longtime correspondent for CBS' flagship New York station WCBS. Norville recently retired. 'Inside Edition' is one of TV's longest-running syndicated newsmagazines, having launched in 1989. In its earliest days, the show competed with similar tabloid TV newsmagazines such as 'Hard Copy' and 'A Current Affair,' and was hosted by Bill O'Reilly, who would go on to have a long career at Fox News Channel. Pilgrim will only be the fourth anchor of the program, and will take its reins in the fall. Her exit will draw new scrutiny to 'GMA3,' an afternoon news program that has had several incarnations since debuting at ABC in 2018. The show has long been viewed as a way to expand the network's massive 'Good Morning America' franchise, and help it compete more directly with NBC's 'Today,' which sports four hours of programming each weekday and more on weekends. The show launched as a lifestyle-news vehicle with Michael Strahan and Sara Haines, but pivoted to a more headline-driven format during the coronavirus pandemic. 'GMA3' seemed to thrive when it was led by co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, who were bolstered by medical and health reporting from Dr. Jen Ashton. But the program came under intense scrutiny when a romantic relationship between Holmes and Robach was unveiled, and ABC News executives failed to manage the imbroglio well. In recent years, Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan have led 'GMA3,' but ABC News has subjected it to cost-cutting, dismissing its executive producer and integrating it with staffers tied to 'GMA.' Pilgrim joined ABC News in 2016, working her way up to 'GMA3' and a role as a senior national correspondent. She got her start in local news by working at stations in Bluefield, West Virginia; Columbia, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born in Seoul, South Korea, and attended the University of Florida and the University of South Carolina. She is also the author of a 2021 children's book, 'Walter Does His Best.' 'Anchoring 'Inside Edition' is truly a dream job,' Pilgrim said in a statement. 'I have been an avid viewer and fan of the show for many years. I'm pinching myself that I get to work with this amazing team. It's truly an honor to join a show with such a long, rich history.' Wicked's Jon M. Chu will direct Mattel's live-action Hot Wheels movie
Hoping to recapture the popularity of the Barbie movie that grossed over $1.44 billion worldwide, toy maker Mattel has announced that Wicked's Jon M. Chu will direct its upcoming live-action Hot Wheels movie, with Juel Taylor and Tony Rettenmaier, whose credits include Creed II and They Cloned Tyrone, writing the script. The film was first announced over three years ago with J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot also producing, but there are still no plot details aside from it being a 'high-octane action film' that will feature 'some of the world's hottest and sleekest vehicles.' With Apple's F1 having taken in over $290 million at the box office in just 10 days, there's potentially a renewed interest from audiences for movies featuring fast cars — or at least full-sized ones. Chu is best known for his directorial work on films that include Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights, and Wicked, which received 10 Oscar nominations and has grossed over $750 million ahead of the sequel hitting theaters on November 21st. 'Jon's ability to craft rich, elaborate worlds with a distinct point of view makes him the ideal storyteller to bring Hot Wheels to life. His films are visual spectacles—true eye candy—but what sets them apart is how he weaves unforgettable narratives within those stunning frames,' says Robbie Brenner, President of Mattel Studios, in a press release from the toy maker today. Following the success of Barbie, Mattel announced several other film projects based on its most popular toy lines, in addition to Hot Wheels. These include movies based on Polly Pocket, the Masters of the Universe, the Magic 8 Ball, the card game Uno, Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, and the American Girl Doll.
