J-Hope's Winning Streak Continues With Another No. 1
Throughout 2025, J-Hope has been releasing single after single after single — and at this point, he's grown accustomed to reaching No. 1 with his solo tunes. The BTS talent has racked up multiple champions in just the past few months, and he adds to his growing list of winners with "Killin' It Girl," his recently-released collaboration with hip-hop superstar GloRilla. As that tune arrives in the United Kingdom, J-Hope keeps a winning streak going that began months ago and has yet to be interrupted.
"Killin' It Girl" Launches at No. 1
"Killin' It Girl" launches at No. 1 on half of all the U.K. charts on which it debuts. The track kickstarts its time on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads rankings at No. 1.
J-Hope earns his fourth leader on both rosters, and his third of 2025. So far this year, "Sweet Dreams" with Miguel, "Mona Lisa," and now "Killin' It Girl" have led the charge.
J-Hope landed his first No. 1 on the two purchase-focused rankings in April 2024, when "Neuron," his collaboration with Gaeko and Yoon Mi-rae, easily landed in the penthouse.
J-Hope's Years of Hit Songs
A year before "Neuron" arrived, J-Hope narrowly missed the No. 1 spot on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts by just one space – but he managed to reach a new high point in the process. "On the Street," which credits both J-Hope and J. Cole, peaked in the runner-up spot.
The BTS singer and rapper has collected a total of seven top 10 placements on the Official Singles Sales chart and one additional smash on the downloads-only tally. "Killin' It Girl" earns him his milestone tenth appearance on both rankings.
A Competitive Week on the Charts
"Killin' It Girl" almost debuted at No. 1 on a trio of tallies, but instead the cut is forced to settle for the runner-up spot on the Official Physical Singles chart. On that ranking, J-Hope comes in behind Scottish rock group Biffy Clyro, as that band's latest track "A Little Love" wins the week.
As it launches, "Killin' It Girl" does earn J-Hope and GloRilla their first top 40 smashes on the Official Singles chart, the most competitive songs tally in the U.K., where it enters at No. 30.

Drinking Tequila And Tuscan Wine With Nick Jonas
Nick Jonas Courtesy of Nick Jonas Nick Jonas rose to fame with his siblings in the Jonas Brothers, but has since carved out an impressive solo and acting career, recently ending a Broadway run of ' The Last Five Years .' Along with his demanding performance schedule Jonas has also been managing Type 1 diabetes, founding his own organization Beyond Type One to raise awareness and funds for research and working with Dexcom (a glucose monitoring system) to inspire other young performers to continue their own dreams while living with diabetes. I spoke with Jonas about the his favorite drinks, his best moments from the show and the upcoming reunion tour with his brothers. What are your favorite wines and spirits? I'm a big fan of tequila, that's always been my go-to. I've had the opportunity to learn quite a bit about the process of making tequila over the years and it's just made me more and more of a fan of it. We also love a great bottle of wine in our house. I'm a big fan of California cabs and French Bordeaux. And you can't go wrong with an Aperol Spritz. What's your favorite way of enjoying tequila? My friends and I have a simple cocktail that we drink called the 'Especial.' It's basically just tequila on the rocks with soda water and an orange wedge. And it is quite deliciously refreshing. Nick Jonas with his wife Priyanka Chopra. Getty Images for Chopard Where are your favorite places to travel for food? I've got quite a few. My most recent trip to Barcelona (on tour with the Jonas Brothers) was incredible. I tried an oxtail paella that was pretty exceptional. My brother Joe is always in charge of picking the restaurants. And then, of course, Tuscany. The Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is one of our favorite places to visit. A wine/food day in Italy is always amazing. You just wrapped up performing on Broadway in 'The Last Five Years.' What drew you to the show? It's a score that I've loved for a long time. And to be able to be in the first ever Broadway production of the show was a dream come true. I was first introduced to the music back in 2002 when I was in 'Beauty and the Beast' on Broadway. All my adult cast mates were were obsessed — I didn't fully understand all the themes — but I got to know it better as I got older. You're a strong advocate for people managing diabetes and recently hosted a group of performers backstage at the show. What advice did you give them? For any person living with diabetes, the challenge is how many more decisions you have to make daily and having the information to make those decisions. That includes the rest you get and keeping tracking of your glucose. And beyond the numbers it's about tracking your time and understanding your trends so you can give your best performance each night. The group that I met was amazing. I work with Dexcom to do advocacy work and empower others who are living with this disease to share their stories and make that web of connection just that much greater. We talked after the show and I answered their questions about what my experience has been living with type 1, and what things to expect and prepare themselves for as they step into careers in the entertainment industry. Nick Jonas meets with young performers managing diabetes. Carrington Spires What were your favorite moments in 'The Last Five Years?' One of my favorite songs of all time is the opening song from the show, 'Still Hurting.' It's Adrienne Warren's song, but it's just beautiful. Hearing that every night on the Broadway stage is kind of magical. My favorite song to sing is 'Nobody Needs to Know.' It's my character's last song and just a beautiful ballad. Heartbreaking and really personifies the feeling that you've made decisions that are going to complicate your life. And Jason Robert Brown's writing is really exceptional. I was honored to get to be a part of it. Who are some of your own idols you've gotten to have drinks and dinner with? Tiger Woods. I was able to play a few holes alongside him at a celebrity invitational some years ago. Tiger and Freddie Couples each had a team, and as an avid golfer growing up it was pretty magical to walk alongside the and hear their stories. Our family has gotten to know Jim Nantz quite well over the years as well. I had the chance to see him a few times at Augusta during The Masters — and he's brought his daughter to shows of ours over the years. What is your favorite guitar that you own? I've got a Gibson B-25 Natural acoustic that my wife got me. It's from 1964 or so — the shop didn't know the exact date. Then there's a beautiful green Gibson SG that I found at Mike's Music in Cincinnati. It's got this beautiful look to it and the sound is is unlike any Gibson SG I've ever played. It's really full and robust, but I can also play things that are more nuanced — sort of in The Edge from U2 space — which is really fun. The Jonas Brothers perform during the Times Square New Year's Eve 2025 Celebration. Getty Images What do you have coming up after this Broadway run? I've got a movie coming out with Paul Rudd called 'Power Ballads.' And my brothers and I shot a holiday movie for Disney+ that comes later this year for the holiday season. And then my brothers and I start our 20th Anniversary Tour on August 10th at MetLife Stadium. So after I finish 'The Last Five Years' I'm looking forward to some downtime with my family and some resting and recharging. And then it's right back to work. Is Paul Rudd really the nicest guy in America? Absolutely. He is a legend and one of the nicest and funniest people I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

Three former Ubisoft executives are convicted of sexual and psychological harassment
A court in France has sentenced three former Ubisoft executives for sexual and psychological harassment. Serge Hascoet, Tommy Francois, and Guillaume Patrux each received fines and suspended prison sentences for their actions that were discovered as a part of a years-long investigation into sexual harassment and bullying at the game publisher. According to The Guardian, Hascoet, Ubisoft's former chief creative officer, allegedly commented that a female employee's mood could be improved if someone were to have sex with her in order to, 'show how to calm her.' Francois, Ubisoft's former editorial vice president, was additionally convicted of attempted sexual assault as well as sexual harassment related to an alleged incident where he tried to forcefully kiss a female employee at a party while colleagues held her down. Patrux, a former game director, was alleged to have thrown furniture in open-plan office space, throwing other objects at employees, and drawing swastikas on a colleague's notebook. Investigations into Ubisoft began in 2020 as a part of the #metoo movement in video games. Current and former employees took to social media in June 2020 to describe harmful incidents and attitudes at the Far Cry and Assassin's Creed developer that spanned decades. An internal survey conducted at that time reported that out of 14,000 employees surveyed, 25 percent had seen or experienced workplace misconduct, while 20 percent said they did not feel safe or respected at the company. In the aftermath, several Ubisoft executives, including Hascoet, resigned while others, including Francois, were fired. In 2023, five former employees, including Hascoet and Francois, were arrested by French police following an investigation into the company. According to French newspaper Le Monde, Francois blamed company culture at Ubisoft for his behavior, saying he was a part of a culture that was 'everywhere, in every department' and that he didn't think it was 'abnormal.' The Verge has reached out to Ubisoft for comment.
