The Xiaomi YU7 is a mid-to-large SUV with a wheelbase of 3000 mm and measurements of 4999 mm (L) x 1996 mm (W) × 1600 mm (H). With a wheel-to-body ratio of 3:1, a wheel-to-height ratio of 2.1:1, and a width-to-height ratio of 1.25:1, it maintains the brand's fixation with proportions. It embodies the traditional low-slung stance of high-performance SUVs.
A 1:3 ultra-sleek head-to-body ratio and a 680 mm long L113 (distance from the centre of the front wheel to the brake pedal), a characteristic of automotive elegance honed over a century, are important luxury features. After months of optimisation, the 3.11 ◡ clamshell aluminium hood (1960×1587 mm), the largest in mass-produced automobiles, blends in perfectly with the body. A 141 L electric front trunk that can accommodate up to eight opening modes is located underneath it.
Sporty wheel arches and optional 275 mm rear wide tyres add to the high-performance look. The Xiaomi YU7's family design philosophy is evident in many fine elements and its well-proportioned body. The Xiaomi SU7's iconic "waterdrop headlights" are restored in this model thanks to an inventive hollowed-out design. Unmatched in its class, the Xiaomi YU7's headlamps have an open design with air channels connected to the front hood vents.
This technical marvel uses 180° ultra-wide-angle lighting to improve illumination and intensify the overall visual aggression. The Xiaomi YU7 unveils three vibrant, nature-inspired paint finishes: Lava Orange, Titanium Silver, and Emerald Green.

Oil prices gain on geopolitical risks, inventory worries
Oil prices rose on Thursday, even as global trade tensions appeared to cool, while analysts pointed to low inventories and renewed Middle East risks as factors which were supporting the market. Brent crude futures were up 17 cents, or around 0.3%, to $68.69 a barrel at 1050 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up 35 cents, or 0.5%, at $66.73. U.S. President Donald Trump has said letters notifying smaller countries of their U.S. tariff rates would go out soon, and has also alluded to prospects of a deal with Beijing on illicit drugs and a possible agreement with the European Union. "Near-term prices (are) set to remain volatile due to the uncertainty over the final scale of U.S. tariffs and the resultant impact on global growth," said Ashley Kelty, an analyst at Panmure Liberum, adding that prices would likely settle lower in the medium term. The oil market on Thursday was also reacting to a tightened inventory scenario, said John Evans, analyst at PVM Oil Associates. Last week, the International Energy Agency said that oil output increases were not leading to higher inventories, which showed markets were thirsty for more oil. "Oil thinking has been distracted from the Middle East, and the reminders of Israel's attacks into Syria and the drone attacks on oil infrastructure in Kurdistan are timely and once again add a little fizz to proceedings," Evans said. Drone attacks on oilfields in Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region have slashed crude output by up to 150,000 barrels per day, two energy officials said on Wednesday, as infrastructure damage forced multiple shutdowns. "For now, oil market indicators continue to suggest the physical market remains tight. But ongoing trade tensions could weigh on oil demand growth prospects and pose downside risks to prices," said UBS commodities analyst Giovanni Staunovo.

The new automaker dropped the teasers for the new Tesla Model Y L on Weibo, one of the most popular social media platforms in China, while details of the upcoming offering were leaked online as the automaker applied for a new sales license with China's Ministry of Information Technology. Tesla Model Y Long-Wheelbase: Longer & Taller With 3 Rows The new Tesla Model Y long-wheelbase will be a six-seater version with three rows. Leaked details reveal the Model Y L will be 4.98 metres long, 1.92 metres wide, and 1.67 metres tall. Compared to the standard version, the long-wheelbase model will measure 179 mm longer and 44 mm taller, with no change in the width of the vehicle. Iron ore rises on strong China steel demand, production curbs
Singapore: Iron ore futures gained for a second straight session on Thursday, buoyed by firm steel demand amid production curbs in top Chinese steelmaking regions. The most-traded September iron ore contract on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) rose 1.81 per cent to 785.5 yuan ($109.39) a metric ton. The benchmark August iron ore on the Singapore Exchange was 0.86 per cent higher at $100.8 a ton by 0713 GMT. Steel production has rebounded in China, driven by accelerating accumulation of building materials, robust manufacturing demand and sustained strength in steel exports, broker Galaxy Futures said. Key steel producing regions Shanxi and Tangshan have started implementing output restrictions, Galaxy said. Although it is the off-season for steel products, there has been increased demand for steel, while some blast furnaces are approaching mid-year maintenance, said broker Hexun Futures. Iron ore shipments from top suppliers Australia and Brazil have fallen after a ramp-up by the end of the past quarter, analysts said. Rio Tinto posted its highest second-quarter iron ore output since 2018, but shipments missed analyst forecasts and hit their lowest for the half since 2014 due to weather-related disruptions. Improving mill margins are starting to boost optimism around demand, ANZ analysts said. Meanwhile, BHP said the costs of establishing a "green iron" industry in Australia remained too high, even as Australia and China reached an agreement this week to collaborate on steel supply chain decarbonisation. Australia, which supplies 60 per cent of China's iron ore needs, produces lower-grade iron ore, which cannot be directly processed into steel with renewable energy. Other steelmaking ingredients on the DCE rose, with coking coal and coke up 1.55 per cent and 1%, respectively. All steel benchmarks on the Shanghai Futures Exchange gained ground. Rebar gained 0.8 per cent, hot-rolled coil climbed 1.23%, wire rod rose 0.86 per cent and stainless steel firmed 0.32 per cent.
