Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Tanmay wrote, 'Throwback: sharing some pics from theatre days, UK AND USA tour.'
The post took fans down memory lane, with some even spotting another familiar face — Nilesh Bhatt aka Babu Chipke, a recurring character on the show.
Before joining Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Tanmay was quite active in theatre. He also worked with Disha Vakani, fondly remembered as Dayaben, in the show. Their on-stage chemistry was loved by audiences at the time.
Tanmay joined Taarak Mehta a few years after it began, stepping in as Nattu Kaka's nephew, Bagheshwar Daddu Undhaiwala, better known as Bagha.
