Sally Dynevor's cancer experience has made her embrace life more.
The Coronation Street actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 - when her character on the ITV1 soap Sally Webster also learnt she had the disease, who has since recovered - but after having a lumpectomy and six months of chemotherapy, she made a full recovery.

Sally's 63-year-old husband, actor Tim Dynevor, was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 and is now cancer-free, and now the pair are making sure to fill their life with adventure.

In an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "Going through something like that makes you want to embrace life all the more.
"We'd love to do more travelling. We're trying really hard to just do lots of lovely things while we can.
"You just don't know what's around the corner, do you? That's why we've decided we should do a couple of our bucket list things.

"We all put stuff off and think, 'It's too expensive, I'm not going to do that.'
"But we're in our 60s now and this is the time to be doing these things."
The 62-year-old star - who raised £100,000 for Prevent Breast Cancer after she trekked up to Mount Everest base camp, Nepal, in 2019 - feels "nervous" ahead of her mammoth challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, in October with her 28-year-old son Sam, in aid of the charity.

She said: "I am quite nervous about it. We're camping in the middle of nowhere and it's very cold when you get up to the top.
"But I'm determined and I'm definitely going to do my very best to get to the summit.
"I know people struggle with altitude sickness, but we've got a great guide and I think it's important to push yourself out of your comfort zone.

"Life is exciting when you challenge yourself. It's a big wide world out there."
Sally said her cancer diagnosis in 2009 affected Tim, Sam and her daughters, Phoebe, 30, and Hattie, 21.
The 2022 Dancing on Ice contestant admitted: "That's one of the worst things - the impact on families. It affects everyone in your circle."

And Sally hopes she and Tim will now have good health for the rest of their lives.
The star said: "You walk out and you just feel so grateful.
"While it's been awful, we look at it in a positive way and think, 'We've both been through it now, that's our blip.'

"Hopefully now we'll live long and happy lives, with nothing more happening to us."

Hollyoaks tour cancelled ahead of huge anniversary over 'low ticket sales'

The upcoming Hollyoaks Live tour has been dropped by its promoters, who are said to have 'over-estimated' the appeal for the production, which is external to the TV show A huge tour for a major TV show has been dramatically axed due to low ticket sales. Hollyoaks Live, which is an external production from the Channel 4 soap opera, was expected to hit the road, giving fans an insight into the popular programme but bosses have been forced to pull the plug. ‌ But while a string of famous faces from the show had signed on the dotted line to meet with fans, the production, which was due to take place in October, will no longer be going ahead. ‌ Soap stars including Nick Pickard, Kieron Richardson, Jorgie Porter, Gary Lucy, and Ashley Taylor Dawson were set to meet fans who had splashed out a whopping £161 for meet and greet tickets, allowing them to ask burning questions about their favourite TV show. It comes after reports Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set for new 'goldmine' offer - but could face issue. ‌ However, sources have claimed that bosses behind the production had "overestimated" the appeal for the show, which was due to take place in Manchester, Glasgow and London, had been left with no option but to cancel the entire tour. "The promoter massively over-estimated the appeal a live stage show would have to Hollyoaks' core audience," a source said. They went on to tell The Sun: "The ticket prices were incredibly high for a show that's popular with teenagers. ‌ "The decision was made to pull the tour rather than have a loss-making venture with empty theatres." But those who purchased tickets for the events will be offered refunds at their points of purchase. It's understood that the tour was organised by an external production team, with Hollyoaks and Channel 4 having very limited involvement in the planning. A spokesperson for the tour said in a statement: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the planned theatre events with Maple Tree Entertainment featuring Hollyoaks cast are not going to take place as planned. "We are sad to disappoint those who had purchased tickets but they will be refunded via the venues." However, it's a stark contrast for ITV soap, Coronation Street, which is going ahead with a live theatre tour. ‌ Long standing cast members from the Manhcester based soap opera will appear at theatres across the nation to discuss their time on the show, in a production which has been billed An Audience with Coronation Street. Fans will pay more than £30 with the promoters promising "behind-the-scenes secrets, share hilarious stories, and relive heart-warming moments from the iconic ITV show". Hosted by This Morning's resident soap expert, Sharon Marshall, the show promises to be filled with laughter, nostalgia, and "more than a few jaw-dropping surprises!" ‌ Each event will feature five Coronation Street stars live on stage, including a surprise Corrie legend. The line-up will vary at each venue, with fan-favourite cast members including Andrew Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt), Samia Longchambon (Maria Connor), and Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald), with more names to be announced soon. Additionally, former show legends will also appear on stage. The tour will start in September and includes dates in London, Sheffield, Manchester and Glasgow. Promoters say in the first half, the audience will be treated to an intimate and lively interview session with some of Corrie's most beloved cast members. Ever wondered what goes on between takes? Curious about those off-screen friendships and real-life dramas? This is your chance to hear all the gossip straight from the source. The second act will feature a Corrie legend who will appear on stage and talk about their time on the ITV show.

How Jack P Shepherd's ex really feels about his VERY public wedding to Hanni – as one very important guest is missing

THE whole of Manchester came to a standstill as a beautiful bride walked down the aisle of the prestigious cathedral - the Coronation Street theme tune playing while some of soap's biggest names gathered together. It could have been a scene from a film, but it was in fact the real-life wedding of Corrie stalwart Jack P Shepherd and Hanni Treweek - but one notable face couldn't be seen among the crowds. 9 9 Insiders say that Jack's ex and mother of his two children, the long-suffering Lauren Shippey, was less than impressed by the whole affair, which has been compared to a royal wedding. Lauren was, perhaps unsurprisingly, not on the guest list for the star-studded event. Their son Reuben, 11, was, however, present - acting as his right-hand man as he entered the cathedral to much fanfare. But their daughter Nyla, 16, wasn't seen at the church or the bash later on that evening at the Lowry Hotel. An insider told The Sun: 'Lauren can't help but raise eyebrows about the whole thing. She has known Jack for a very long time and has two children with him, so she knows him very well. 'The wedding is not what she or anyone really expected, and the whole pomp and grandeur has left people scratching their heads. 'Her friends have been mocking him for acting like royalty, and she can see why. 'People seem to forget that Lauren went through a lot when she was with Jack - a secret love child and public fallouts over seeing the kids. 'She knows the real Jack.' Before the David Platt actor's romance with Hanni, he was engaged to childhood sweetheart Lauren. The pair were just 14 when they started dating, and they were together for 15 years before calling it quits. Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd marries Hanni Treweek in stunning star-studded ceremony Their relationship was rocked when it emerged that Jack had a secret love child, after a one-night stand with a sales executive called Sammy Milewski. Jack is said to have never met the child, who suffers from an incredibly rare and painful condition called AHC (Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood). Lauren initially threw Jack out, but she later decided to forgive his infidelity and just a month later, he presented her with a £3,000 engagement ring. The pair were never to marry, though, and six years on they announced their split in 2017. While they insisted they were still friends, things started to go downhill, and when Jack gushed about having a blended family in a magazine interview, Lauren hit back. What is AHC? Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) is a rare neurological disorder. It causes repeated, transient attacks of hemiplegia (paralysis of a portion of the body, including the face) and can be very painful for the child. Triggers for attacks include environmental conditions, water exposure, light, physical activities, foods, emotional response, odours, fatigue and medications. Although named 'of childhood', those affected by AHC do not grow out of it. But episodes may change and sometimes decrease in frequency with age. While it can be managed with medication, there is currently no cure. 9 9 In 2020, she alleged that he wasn't seeing their children, telling The Sun at the time: 'It made me laugh. We're about as blended as a breeze block in a cement mixer. 'I'm speaking out now because Jack has used his celebrity status to give an interview which portrays a false image of how he behaves. Jack didn't see his children for almost four months. 'The public needs to know what Jack is really like. He's seen as a lovable rogue and a cheeky chap, but my children need him to be a dad rather than see him gallivanting around town. 'Hopefully, he will wake up and understand his behaviour is unacceptable before it's too late.' Lauren has since moved on with new man Ben, who she shares a four-year-old daughter with, named Halle Jean. The insider continued: 'Lauren has well and truly moved on with her life and has no hard feelings towards Jack. 'She did have a difficult time when they were together and has made no secret of the issues they have had in the past.' 9 Jack started dating his now wife, Hanni, in 2017. She was working in the press office for Coronation Street at the time. Despite being one of the longest-running cast members on Corrie, Jack has previously shied away from the public eye. But all that changed when he launched a podcast with best mates Colson Smith and Ben Price - and he started to enjoy sharing snippets of his life with his fans. Hanni also upped her game with content creation, sharing much of her life with Jack - including swanky holidays and fancy meals out. Then this year, Jack shocked his inner circle when he revealed he was going to do Celebrity Big Brother - a move said to be spurred by a desire to make more money for his upcoming wedding. The star, who makes £250,000 a year playing David, is said to have earned £100,000 for doing the show, which he ended up winning. And after seeing their wedding day, it's now clear to see why he wanted to make as much as he could. It was a no-expense-spared event, and they then jetted off for a luxurious and no doubt very pricey honeymoon in Italy … a far cry from Lauren's recent family holiday with the kids. 9 9
