Apple Promo Teases New Invasion, Morning Show and Foundation Seasons — For All Mankind, Monarch Still MIA
The minute-and-a-half promo, seen above, features fresh footage from Foundation Season 3 (previously announced to premiere July 11), Slow Horses Season 5 (Sept. 24), Loot Season 3 (return date TBD), The Morning Show Season 4 (Sept. 17), Invasion Season 3 (return date TBD) and Platonic Season 2 (Aug. 6).

You can also get new looks at Jason Momoa's epic series Chief of War (premiering Aug. 1) and the Apple original films The Lost Bus (from director Paul Greengrass, starring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera, and due out this fall) and Highest 2 Lowest (from Spike Lee, starring Denzel Washington and streaming Sept. 5).
Absent from the sizzle reel, however, are For All Mankind (which dropped its Season 4 finale in January 2024 and was renewed that April) and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (which ended its freshman run in January 2024, but only wrapped filming on Season 2 in March).
Invasion and Loot, meanwhile, still await return dates, after streaming their respective Season 2 finales in October 2023 and May 2024.

Get Ready for All the New Ringtones in iOS 26
Apple released the third public beta of iOS 26 on Aug. 14. The beta brought a handful of new features, like a new Liquid Glass design and the ability to screen incoming calls, to the iPhones of developers and beta testers. It also gave developers and beta testers seven new ringtones they can try now. Many of the new ringtones are remixed versions of the Reflection ringtone. One version includes what sounds like woodwind instruments, while another sounds like a synthwave song you'd hear in Cyberpunk 2077. Here are all the latest ringtones that Apple could bring to your iPhone this year and what they sound like. Remember, Apple is still beta testing iOS 26. That means the update might be buggy for you, and your device's battery life may be affected, so it's best to keep potential troubles off your primary device. If you want to try out the beta, I recommend downloading it on a secondary device. It's also possible that Apple could adjust or remove certain features currently in the iOS 26 betas, including these ringtones, before the stable version of iOS 26 is released this fall. All the latest ringtones You can find all the new ringtones by going to Settings, tapping Sounds & Haptics and then selecting Ringtone. There are seven total new ringtones, but six of them are remixes of Reflections, the default ringtone of iOS 18. If you tap Reflections a dropdown menu unfurls to reveal these new ringtones. It's a brand new option you can find in the ringtone list. iPhone users are getting two new free apps with iOS 26

The first is called Games while the second is named Preview. So immediately it's pretty clear what these are going to be for, based on the names, but Apple has crammed in more. Up until this update the Preview feature found on macOS was not available for iPhones. Now it looks like Apple has placed that very helpful quick-view feature into iOS. While the Games centre features a lot of what's already available, it does this in a unifying way which should enhance every gamers iPhone and iPad life. But there's more. What do the two new iOS 26 apps do? Apple has added the Games app to iOS 26 as a way to centralise everything gaming related. As such, it says, you'll be able to access all your games while also receiving recommendations for new games with personalized suggestions based on your gaming habits. There are four tabs alongside the Home tab in Games which are Arcade, Play Together and Library. Arcade is a tab based space that shows the gaming content that you might currently find in the App Store's Arcade tab. Play Together lets you see challenges, multiplayer options and data about your friends from the Game Center. Library is a place where all your installed games will be available. This will also collate your achievements and more. The Preview app is arriving on iPhone and iPad as a dedicated place to view PDFs and images. You'll also be able to edit with tools like rotate, resize and more. This app also allows you to carry out document scans, PDF auto filling and create new images from scratch or from a clipboard. All that means your iOS device's Files app will launch PDFs and images inside Preview by default. The only catch is that this works for files saved in iCloud – which sounds like it may not apply to files stored locally on the device, although this isn't clear at this stage. Apple is expected to roll out iOS 26 alongside the new iPhone 17 in early September.
