Tyson Fury has not taken kindly to Oleksandr Usyk's comments on his two defeats and has refused to accept he lost to the Ukrainian as he eyes a return to the ring
Tyson Fury has yet to come to terms with his two losses to Oleksandr Usyk as he eyes a comeback.
Despite announcing his retirement from the sport in January following a second defeat at the hands of Usyk, who is gearing up for a Wembley showdown with Daniel Dubois on July 19, Fury seems poised for a return. This comes after Usyk hinted he only plans to fight twice more. When probed by The Stomping Ground about a potential third fight with Fury, Usyk teased: "Maybe it's Tyson Fury. Maybe it's Anthony Joshua."

Speaking specifically about Fury, Usyk remarked: "He's not retired. I think Tyson will continue training, continue boxing, because he's a great man. Yes, Tyson Fury... a lot of speak - blah blah blah blah - but it's good. Great man, wow." Not one to stay silent, Fury clapped back on Instagram replying to the interview post, boasting: "Beat the f***er two times, the world knows the truth. Any time, any place. sucker UK next time 100k people."

Fury stirred the pot further with a video posted on social media alongside former trainer SugarHill Steward, hinting at a possible return to the ring. In the video, the Gypsy King teases: "Just in the gym, happened to bump into somebody you might know." The camera then pans to Steward who playfully suggests: "You know what time it is!" to which Fury responds in kind, "You know what's coming."
Spencer Brown, the manager for the 'Gypsy King' Tyson Fury, had a chinwag with iFL TV and shared how the heavyweight champ is faring. "I spoke to him last week, he's really happy. Really happy. He's getting a little bit bored but he was really happy," Brown revealed.
Not only did he share Fury's current mood, but Brown also dished on what Tyson's been up to lately: "I think he went to a nice birthday party over the weekend and had a few beers. Just speaking to him gives you a bit of light in your life because he makes you smile and he doesn't anything too seriously."
The topic naturally moved on to the titan's future within the ropes, where Brown confirmed, "Is he going to fight again? He's retired. He might be getting a little bit bored at the moment but that's just a natural thing. He's just enjoying himself, he's running everyday."
And it seems the boxing behemoth has been keeping in shipshape condition, as Brown complimented: "He's really looking good. He's tanned, he's fit. He looks good. I was quite surprised when I saw him. He's usually eating Jelly Babies and sweets but this time none of that. He's proper on his diet."
As buzz builds around Fury's potential comeback fight, all eyes are turning towards a British brawl against Anthony Joshua who's set to bounce back into training in July following an injury. Last seen in the ring getting roughed up by Dubois within five rounds at Wembley last September, Joshua will likely be Fury's opponent if the latter laces up his gloves again.
