Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been making waves since the conclusion of her phenomenal rookie season in the WNBA. Pro Basketball Hall of Fame point guard Magic Johnson, famous for leading the "Showtime" Los Angeles Lakers in the 1980s, announced that he and Reese were starting a financial literacy program in Reese's hometown of Baltimore, Maryland. He reshared the announcement on his Instagram story with the following caption.

"The @magicjohnsonfoundation in partnership with the @angelreesefoundation and @pullupneighbor launched the Wealth Playbook, a financial literacy program in Baltimore, MD!" Johnson wrote.
WNBA fans were all over this announcement, as they praised both Reese and Johnson for the work that they were doing. Several took to social media to voice their appreciation.

Reese and her Chicago Sky teammates will take the floor for two more exhibition games before the regular season starts on May 17. They'll face off against the Indiana Fever on their opening night.
