Loved ones search for missing 27-year-old Southern California woman
Aashian Makan, 27, was reported missing on July 10, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. She also goes by the nickname 'Aashi.'
Makan, who is considered at-risk, was last seen on the 26300 block of West Plata Lane in Calabasas.
She is described as an Asian woman who stands at 5 feet 5 inches and weighs 80 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a tan/beige sweatshirt, black leggings and light pink tennis shoes.
It's unclear where she may have been heading when she disappeared. Her family noted that she has a mental health disorder and requires medication.
They have not heard from her since and are very concerned for her well-being.

Authorities in central California are searching for a mother and her 8-month-old daughter, who haven't been seen in almost two weeks since departing Fresno to return to their home near Sacramento. 'They were supposed to be heading home to Elk Grove (Sacramento County) where family members were expecting them,' said the sheriff's office in a post on Facebook. Elk Grove is around 158 miles north of Fresno. On July 19, four days after departing Fresno, Owen's partner contacted her family to ask if she was there, according to CNN affiliate KFSN. Her brother, Richard Owen, told the affiliate he had informed her partner that Whisper had left on Tuesday night — then Richard reported them missing to law enforcement. Torres, Owen's mother, told KCRA the two had a 'wonderful visit' in Fresno, where they attended a doctor's appointment for the baby. 'The only thing she had to do was stop and get a can of formula because she was on her last bottle,' Torres told KCRA. Owen 'didn't run away,' her mother said. She has a 'good home life' and three other children, Torres told KCRA. Torres told CNN affiliate KFSN her daughter doesn't have a working phone so she typically only speaks with her every few days. Family members are contributing to the desperate search for the pair, driving up and down the highway, according to KFSN. CNN has reached out to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, the Fresno Police Department, and the Sacramento Police Department for more information. Boy, 6, drowns after wandering away from family reunion at Belle Isle Park
A 6-year-old boy is dead after drowning in the Detroit River near Belle Isle Park on Saturday night, according to Michigan State Police. Multiple children, including the boy, were playing at Belle Isle Park during a family reunion. At one point, he wandered off from the other kids, police said. Family members started searching for the boy and called 911 after noticing he was missing, police said. The boy was found in the river near where the family reunion was taking place, around 30 minutes after he went missing. Officials with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Michigan State Police attempted life-saving measures before the boy was taken to the hospital, where he later died. "Our heart goes out to this little boy's family and also the first responders and community members on scene who did everything they could to try and save this child's life," MSP First Lieutenant Mike Shaw said in a written statement on Sunday morning.
