West Lothian duo arrested as police raid properties and make discovery worth 190k

Police have arrested two males in West Lothian after drugs worth around £190,000 were discovered within properties.
Around 9.30am on Friday, April 25, officers executed a warrant at a property in the Elm Square are of East Whitburn and a bladed weapon and cannabis were recovered.
Officers also executed a warrant at a property in the Marches Drive area of Armadale where cocaine and cannabis, along with illegal ornamental weapons, were recovered.
A property in the Wood Drive area of Whitburn was also searched and a significant amount of cocaine and cannabis was recovered.
The men, aged 25 and 30, were released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date.
Detective Sergeant John Irvine said: 'Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is determined to disrupt the supply of illegal substances and trace those involved.

Earlier we reported that cops were seen chasing a group of youths who had climbed on top of the turnstiles at the final night of the Oasis gig at Murrayfield on Tuesday night. The group of three youngsters were spotted running across the roof of the turnstiles outside the stadium on the band's final night in Edinburgh on Tuesday, August 12. Officers from Police Scotland on the ground could be seen sprinting after them. It is not yet known what happened to the trio after they were caught but the force were approached for comment.

Flasher with camera 'exposes himself' in grounds of National Trust Scots country mansion
The incident took place in the grounds of Haddo House in Aberdeenshire this afternoon. Police are hunting a man who exposed himself while carrying a camera in the grounds of a National Trust for Scotland country mansion. On Wednesday, August 13 at around 1.15pm, a man was spotted exposing himself in the grounds of a Haddo House in Methlick near Ellon. Haddo House, designed in 1732, is one of Scotland's grandest Palladian-style country mansions, which was built for entertaining - regularly playing host to royalty and dignitaries across the centuries. The man, who was carrying a camera, is described as being white, in his 50s, of heavy build, with grey receding hair and wearing a black t-shirt. Police Scotland have increased patrols in the area as they carry out extensive enquiries. Sergeant Josh Kinnaird is appealing for witnesses to come forward. He said: 'We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this man to contact us. "Officers will be in the area of Haddo House and anyone with concerns or information can approach these officers. 'You can also contact police on 101 quoting incident 1781 of 13 August, 2025." A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Officers are appealing for information following a report of an indecent exposure in Aberdeenshire. "Around 1.15pm on Wednesday, 13 August, 2025 a man was seen exposing himself in the grounds of a country house in Methlick near Ellon. "He is described as being white, in his 50s, of heavy build, with grey receding hair and wearing a black t-shirt and carrying a camera. "Extensive enquiries have been carried out and are ongoing and increased patrols will be in the area." We previously reported, in a separate incident, that Police have launched an investigation after a man 'exposed himself' in Glasgow while filming for the new Spider-Man movie was underway. The shocking incident happened on Bothwell Street, on the afternoon of Tuesday August 5 amid the blockbuster shoot in the city centre. Officers have said inquiries are ongoing but have not released any further details. Filmed during the performance of 'Champagne Supernova' on Tuesday, a man appears to be placed in a headlock by a G4S security member as a colleague helps to him down a set of stairs at Murrayfield Stadium. The music fan is then brought down to the concourse floor with both security personnel appearing to try to restrain him on the ground. Another G4S staffer can be seen following the trio down the steps and watching over the scene. It is not yet known the reason behind the man being restrained.
