Percy Tau reveals salary demands as Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates lurk

Percy Tau is in line for a return to South Africa after leaving Qatar SC. Can Orlando Pirates or Kaizer Chiefs match his massive wage demands?
31-year-old Bafana star Tau is looking for something in the region of R450,000 a month.
Meanwhile, ex-club Sundowns wouldn't find it difficult to match that number.
Percy Tau would consider a move to Kaizer Chiefs if they stumped up a salary package meeting his demands. You can check out his full interview with Robert Marawa below. Tau would be satisfied by R450,000 a month and a two-year deal.
Meanwhile, according to iDiski Times, Chiefs have entered the race to sign top teenage prospect Neo Rapoo from SuperSport United. Orlando Pirates are known admirers of the full-back star. The 19-year-old SuperSport star recently tasted success with the Afcon U20 side.

Bafana B striker Radiopane urges attackers to be ruthless against Comoros

South Africa striker Boitumelo Radiopane is urging attackers to be decisive in front of goal when they take on Comoros in their Cosafa Cup semifinal clash at Free State Stadium on Friday (6pm). Bafana finished top of Group A but the Orlando Pirates attacker said they missed a lot of opportunities but he is confident they have learnt from those moments and ready to deliver against Comoros. 'We tried every day to finish the chances we get in training because that is where the work starts,' he said. 'I am happy with the group of players I'm surrounded with because we all want to reach the same goal, which is to win, and to do that we have to score as many goals as we can. 'All I can say regarding our decision-making in front of the goals is we need to be calm and not be selfish. If I'm not in a good position to score, I have to give it to the next player who is in the better position and to win the game for us. 'The only way to reward our defence is to score for them because they are doing everything well and everything they can for the opposition not to strike at us.'

'Pitso should work with Ncikazi'

Orlando Pirates legend Thabo Mngomeni has backed Pitso Mosimane to join the Buccaneers as head coach. The Buccaneers recently parted ways with Jose Riveiro after three years. The Spaniard opted not to renew his contract and instead joined Egyptian giants Al Ahly. Mngomeni, who played for Orlando Pirates between 1998 and 2002, said Pitso Mosimane was the right coach to replace Riveiro. 'I was happy when they were saying Pitso was coming,' said the former Bafana Bafana midfielder as per iDiski Times , 'I was really happy. I think he could do something or carry on what Riveiro started. Definitely, Pitso has got the capability of doing that, sure, definitely,' he added. With Ncikazi having been at Pirates for half a decade, Mngomeni feels the former Golden Arrows could help Mosimane. 'And what about Mandla [Ncikazi]? He has been there with Riveiro. Mandla has identified how Riveiro was doing his things.' 'I'm not saying if they put him in, he should do it that way, but he can see where they have improved. He can see where they need to improve. He should also be there, part of the team,' he concluded. Pitso Mosimane has been a free agent since leaving Iran earlier this year and is one of the favourites for the Orlando Pirates coaching job. Confirmed: When Springboks will cut squad

Earlier this month the Springboks revealed a squad of 55 players as part of an extended training group ahead of the new season, which kicks off with a 'friendly' of sorts against the Barbarians on 28 June. Erasmus named nine uncapped players in his 55-man squad for that clash against the Barbarians, and although it enabled the coach to have a look at a wider group of players, a 'first-choice' squad will soon be named ahead of the July Tests. The Springbok boss confirmed that he would reduce the size of his squad after taking stock of any further injuries suffered in the United Rugby Championship final between the Bulls and Leinster at Croke Park in Dublin on Saturday evening. 'We will wait to see if there are any injuries from the URC final and then announce the group of players on Sunday that will get together next week,' he said. 'That said, it doesn't mean that those players are the only ones who will be in the mix this year. There are players who are returning from injury within the next few weeks and months, and we would definitely like to see some of the players who have been playing well get a chance this season.' With their opening match of the season against the Barbarians a little over two weeks away, Erasmus said the focus in the next two weeks and in the match itself will be to get their own structures in place as they prepare for a challenging international season. 'It's difficult to plan around the Barbarians because they are a team consisting of players from many different countries, so our focus in that match will be our game and what we want to achieve,' he said. 'It will serve as a good opportunity for the players who have returned from Japan to get back into the swing of things, and perhaps to give a few players who have not played Test rugby a feel of what it is to play at this level.'
