Gordon Ramsay reveals he's only dined at his restaurants TWICE as he finds them 'too posh' and reveals the annoying kitchen habit that leaves wife Tana furious
The renowned chef, 58, has a total of 88 restaurants worldwide and currently holds 8 Michelin stars. He has been awarded 17 stars overall.
While some would think Gordon would constantly be dining at his enterprise, he in fact finds them too fancy and 'not his style'.
Speaking on The Savoy Originals' podcast, he said: 'There's a very fine line, running it or indulging in it.
'I've only had dinner at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in 25 years twice.
'Once was for Megan's birthday, and the second time was with Bradley Cooper when we were together for the film Burnt.
'It's not my style. It's too posh for me. It sounds weird, right? You built the f*****g place, and it's like, too posh for you. I can't sit there with that level of attention.
'It's bloody intimidating and it's a very special moment for the guests, not for me, because I'm a giver — I'm not a receiver.'
However, at home Gordon does struggle with cooking so called 'normal' dinners for his family, which often leaves his wife Tana, 50, furious.
Gordon leaves Tana less impressed when he naturally finds himself cooking Michelin-starred dinners for his six-year-old son Oscar.
The couple are parents to Megan, 26, twins Holly and Jack, 25, Tilly, 23, Oscar and Jesse James, 17 months.
He explained: 'I will do sausage and mash with baked beans and make it look like a three-star Michelin sausage, mash and baked beans.
'And I'll put the beans on one at a time, and I'll finish them, making mashed potatoes like [French chef] Robuchon did, with 70 per cent butter.
'And then Tana will kick me up the a*** and say, 'What are you doing? Our son is five years of age and you're f****** around with these sausages. Stop it.'
'So, yeah, I get a little bit carried away.'
In February, Gordon expanded his culinary empire in the form of the 120-seat Lucky Cat on level 60 at 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London.
Additionally, he has also launched Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, the Gordon Ramsay Academy, and Lucky Cat Bar in the building.
Guests can experience the exclusive Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, a 12-seat chef's table experience like no other as well as Asian-inspired Lucky Cat.
Lucky Cat Bar, a new world-class bar space is perfect for cocktails with breathtaking views of the capital.
Additionally, food enthusiasts of all levels can hone their skills at the Gordon Ramsay Academy powered by HexClad, where guests can learn the sharpest kitchen techniques.

The central London hotel with skyline views and private heated swimming pool
I had the heated swimming pool all to myself CITY ESCAPE The central London hotel with skyline views and private heated swimming pool IF you want a central hotel with an amazing restaurant and on-site pool, Park Plaza Riverbank ticks all the boxes. Here's everything you need to know. 3 Here's everything you need to know about staying at the Park Plaza Riverbank Credit: 3 I had the heated swimming pool all to myself Credit: Where is the hotel? Overlooking the river Thames, Park Plaza Riverbank is a short walk from Vauxhall Station in London, or a quick bus to London Waterloo. What is the hotel like? The huge hotel is much bigger than it looks on the outside. Walking in, the dark interior makes you feel like you are in a luxury resort. From the lobby, you can check in to your room at reception as well as head up the escalators to the on-site restaurant, gym and spa. What are the rooms like? Each of the rooms are kitted out with queen or king-size beds, as well as working desks and a 49 inch Smart TV with Chromecast facilities. I loved the options of plug sockets, with EU, UK & US, and there were tea and coffee making facilities as well. Each of the bathrooms have complimentary toiletries along with a bath or shower depending on the room. Rooms start from £159. Opt for the hotel suites for floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river as well as the London Eye and Big Ben, while some even have their own massive balcony terrace with views of the skyline. What is there to eat or drink there? The hotel restaurant is a must. Best of British: London Chino Latino offers a Pan-Asian fusion with everything from sushi and dim sum to steaks and seafood. Not sure what to go for? Opt for one of three of the set menus so you can try it all, best chased by a deliciously sweet Sakura Martini, made up of gin, lychee and rose. Make sure to ask for a window seat for a beautiful sunset view. This is also where you will find breakfast, with enough hot and cold options to keep everyone satisfied. What else is there to do there? The hotel has a heated private pool which you can book free sessions. My 6:30am morning session meant I had the whole place to myself. You can follow this up with a trip to the sauna or steam room, or the gym next door. Or for £25, there is the 12th floor River View Lounge with complimentary drinks and snacks all day. But if you want to explore the nearby area, you are right in the middle of London so most of the top attractions are a short train or bus away. Is the hotel family friendly? Yes, there are a number of hotel rooms and suites that sleep up to two adults and two kids. Is there access for guests with disabilities? The hotel has Braille lifts, as well as rooms with wider guest room and bathroom doorways. There is also wheel-chair accessible lobbies, entrances and public bathrooms. Looking for a place to stay? Brooklyn Beckham fans spot snub in Nicola Peltz vow renewal snaps
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz have shared loving snaps of them renewing their vows – but his followers have spotted what they deem to be a massive snub to dad David. The eldest Beckham son, 26, married Nicola, 30, in 2022 after dating for three years – and three years on from their wedding day, they returned to pledge new promises to one another. And the pair took to Instagram to share the adorable pictures from the big day, with Brooklyn and Nicola getting back into their wedding outfits to pledge their love to one another once more. But it wasn't long before Brooklyn's followers spotted that not only were Victoria and David absent, but that Nicola's dad Nelson officiated the ceremony. In the very final picture of the gallery, Brooklyn and Nicola stood opposite each other as Nelson read from a piece of card he was holding in both his hands. Commenting, Instagram user @Mary.031987 said that the 'last picture will be a stab in your father's heart' and added that the apparent feud between the Beckhams was 'very sad'. @Gwenidu69 called them 'beautiful pictures' but add that 'it's a shame that your family is missing, it's sad,' while other fans praised Brooklyn for what they see as him 'putting [his] wife first'. Speaking to People about renewing his vows, he said: 'To be honest, I could renew my vows every single day with her. I think the most important thing that someone can do is find that person that they're going to spend the rest of their life with. 'It definitely shapes you as a person. Yeah, it was really, really cute. It was really fun,' adding that his new vows were much longer than his ones from three years ago. Brooklyn's post comes just 48 hours after mum Victoria welcomed fans into her and husband David's welcome getaway to Saint-Tropez amid the apparent feud. The fashion designer and former Spice Girls singer, 51, jetted off to the French Riviera alongside her ex-footballer partner, 50, earlier this month. Victoria and David were spotted sharing a loved-up moment aboard their hugely expensive yacht last week, and Victoria gave fans a more intimate glimpse into their Mediterranean escape. Tagging the family in a gallery with the caption 'Kisses', Victoria shared 14 photos from the family holiday – their sons Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 22, and daughter Harper Seven, 14, also joined them on the trip. Several of the sweet snaps showed the superstar family embracing one another and enjoying a relaxing time on the luxurious south French coast. Other pictures showed that David and Romeo are looking more and more like each other as the years go by, while the last photo in the gallery saw Cruz donning one of his dad's old football shirts. Absent from the holiday was Brooklyn, who had just spent the week also vacationing in Saint-Tropez with wife Nicola ahead of renewing their vows. Social media sleuths deduced that Brooklyn and his parents were days apart in their respective trips, meaning that they only missed each other by less than a week. Harper and Romeo were spotted by a harbour in Saint-Tropez, almost in the exact same spot where Brooklyn had recently posted videos of himself cooking. However, as the Beckham siblings were pictured arriving in France, Brooklyn had reportedly already departed for the United States, where he's currently based. The near miss came after it was revealed earlier this month that Brooklyn no longer followed brothers Cruz and Romeo on social media, with the latter two having also unfollowed Brooklyn's wife Nicola. An insider told The Sun: 'Brooklyn had no idea until he read about it online. It's possible Romeo and Cruz blocked them, which would make it appear as him no longer following the brothers. 'He and Nicola certainly didn't unfollow them or block them – they're as confused as anyone else. The first they heard about it was when it was being reported on.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Rumours of a rift between the Beckhams first began in 2022, when Brooklyn married Nicola – it was said that his new wife's relationship with his mum Victoria wasn't the best. More Trending Those rumours had been talked down over the last three years, but when Brooklyn and Nicola missed David's 50th birthday celebrations in May – and Brooklyn speculation started again. The exact reason behind the reported rift is yet to be revealed, but it has been claimed by insiders that Victoria is 'desperate' for things to be patched up between her once-close family. 'Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children,' an source told Metro last month.
