Marvel's first family is making their way to Fortnite in a new collection of cosmetics, celebrating the arrival of Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Despite recent issues with the 36.20 update leading to extended downtime and necessitating an official statement from Epic Games, Fortnite continues to deliver fresh content for its players. Following Superman's introduction in the Super Battle Pass, players have been enjoying deploying Krypto to annihilate enemies and harnessing the powers of the man of steel to unexpectedly wreak havoc on unsuspecting passers-by.
The superhero theme doesn't stop there, as it has been announced that a selection of (we're choosing our words carefully here) Fantastic Four Fortnite skins are coming to the game to mark their debut in the MCU. This news has sparked excitement among many fans, particularly as this marks the first appearance in the game for Pedro Pascal until the game introduces skins for Pedro Almodovar's A Strange Way of Life. Don't hold your breath though.

Fantastic Four Fortnite release time
The Fantastic Four Fortnite skins are set to be released on Friday, July 25 at 5pm PDT / 8pm EDT, and Saturday, July 26 at 1am BST. This information comes straight from the horse's mouth as the official Fortnite account has unveiled the date in a fresh teaser video on Twitter, with the release time based on the Item Shop rollover time.
These skins are expected to grace the Item Shop for about a week before they depart, similar to the Fortnite Street Fighter cosmetics. However, unlike the returning fighting game characters, we anticipate that the Fantastic Four Fortnite skins will make a comeback shortly after.
It's common for new cosmetic crossovers to return within roughly a month at this stage, but beyond that, it's tricky to predict when they'll reappear in the Item Shop, so you might want to grab them as soon as you can.

So far, the confirmed cosmetics coming to the game in the Fantastic Four Fortnite skins include the outfits themselves, along with a few bonus extras. Although there are bundles yet to be confirmed, here's what we know:

Fantastic Four Fortnite Cup
A new Fantastic Four Fortnite Cup is being held to celebrate the launch of the new cosmetics, offering you the opportunity to not only bag some exclusive loot, but also get your mitts on the family of characters early and for free. When the Fantastic Four Battle Royale Squads Cup commences on Wednesday, July 23, you'll earn the It's Clobberin' Time Spray if you survive for a total of 60 minutes, and you'll receive the Flame On Emoticon for surviving a total of 120 minutes.

The British actress, 37, plays Sue Storm—or the Invisible Woman, to those in the know—in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps' scores Marvel's first $100 million box office opening of 2025
Marvel's first family has finally found box office gold. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' the first film about the superheroes made under the guidance of Kevin Feige and the Walt Disney Co., earned $118 million in its first weekend in 4,125 North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday. That makes it the fourth biggest opening of the year, behind 'A Minecraft Movie,' 'Lilo & Stitch' and 'Superman,' and the biggest Marvel opening since 'Deadpool & Wolverine' grossed $211 million out of the gate last summer. Internationally, 'Fantastic Four' made $100 million from 52 territories, adding up to a $218 million worldwide debut. The numbers were within the range the studio was expecting. The film arrived in the wake of another big superhero reboot, James Gunn's 'Superman,' which opened three weekends ago and has already crossed $500 million globally. That film, from the other main player in comic book films, DC Studios, took second place with $24.9 million domestically. 'First Steps' is the latest attempt at bringing the superhuman family to the big screen, following lackluster performances for other versions. The film, based on the original Marvel comics, is set during the 1960s in a retro-futuristic world led by the Fantastic Four, a family of astronauts-turned-superhuman from exposure to cosmic rays during a space mission. The family is made up of Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), who can stretch his body to incredible lengths; Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), who can render herself invisible; Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), who transforms into a fiery human torch; and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), who possesses tremendous superhuman strength with his stone-like flesh. The movie takes place four years after the family gained powers, during which Reed's inventions have transformed technology, and Sue's diplomacy has led to global peace. Both audiences and critics responded positively to the film, which currently has an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and promising exit poll responses from opening weekend ticket buyers. An estimated 46% of audiences chose to see it on premium screens, including IMAX and other large formats. The once towering Marvel is working to rebuild audience enthusiasm for its films and characters. Its two previous offerings this year did not reach the cosmic box office heights of 'Deadpool & Wolverine," which made over $1.3 billion, or those of the 'Avengers'-era. But critically, the films have been on an upswing since the poorly reviewed 'Captain America: Brave New World,' which ultimately grossed $415 million worldwide. ' Thunderbolts," which jumpstarted the summer movie season, was better received critically but financially is capping out at just over $382 million globally. Like Deadpool and Wolverine, the Fantastic Four characters had been under the banner of 20th Century Fox for years. The studio produced two critically loathed, but decently profitable attempts in the mid-2000s with future Captain America Chris Evans as the Human Torch. In 2015, it tried again (unsuccessfully) with Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. They got another chance after Disney's $71 billion acquisition of Fox's entertainment assets in 2019. The 30 best films on Disney+ to watch now
With Disney+, the clue is very much in the name: there's a lot more on there than just the classic catalogue we'd usually call Disney. Following their acquisitions of Pixar (2006), Marvel (2009), Lucasfilm (2012), and – biggest of all – 20th Century Fox (2019), the service went live with all of those separate coffers jam-packed. Many families own it chiefly for animated favourites old and new, so I've devoted about half of this list to cherry-picking those. Every Star Wars sequel (plus the TV spin-offs) is available, of course; ditto every entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I've only picked one favourite apiece in those canons, but franchise devotees will doubtless know their way around that content already. What's less foregrounded is some of the more adult-targeted Fox content, from a pretty broad range of genres, so this dominates the back end of my list. Yes, Avatar and its sequel are streamable, too, but there's a lot more to the studio's back catalogue than effects blockbusters. It would be a real blessing if Disney would license Fox's golden oldies – couldn't we have Laura (1944) or My Darling Clementine (1946) or All About Eve (1950)?
