If you thought the Eagles were going to keep things lowkey after their 2025 Super Bowl win, you clearly don't know Philly. On Friday, the team dropped their official Super Bowl LIX championship ring, and it's absolutely unhinged in the most glorious, extra, fly-as-hell way.

We're talking retractable wings, hidden mottos, 145 playoff points, Brazilian flags, and diamonds everywhere.
Philly's Super Bowl ring opens up like wings, because subtlety was never an option
Yep, the ring literally opens up, the sides pop out like wings, mirroring the Eagles' helmet design. Inside? A message that screams leadership and legacy:
'YOU CAN'T BE GREAT WITHOUT THE GREATNESS OF OTHERS.'
That quote came straight from head coach Nick Sirianni, who drilled it into the team's mindset all season long.
And now? It's engraved into their history.
Every single gem and engraving is dripping in symbolism — no space wasted
This isn't just a ring. It's a visual stats sheet of Philly's Super Bowl season. Some of the wildest details:
40 diamonds in the words 'WORLD CHAMPIONS' = 40 points scored in the Super Bowl.
= 40 points scored in the Super Bowl. 0.9 carats in the wings = a tribute to the 6 sacks and 3 turnovers forced by the defense.
= a tribute to the 6 sacks and 3 turnovers forced by the defense. 145 engraved inside = most points scored in a single postseason in NFL history.
= most points scored in a single postseason in NFL history. 5 diamonds at the top = the five different Eagles who scored in the Super Bowl.
= the five different Eagles who scored in the Super Bowl. 10 diamonds in the logo = 10-game win streak to close the season.
= 10-game win streak to close the season. 18 green stones = 18 total wins (regular season + playoffs).
= 18 total wins (regular season + playoffs). 2 Lombardi trophies = signifying both of owner Jeffrey Lurie's titles.
The details go deep, no inch of this ring is wasted.
There's even a Brazilian flag and MVP nods for Jalen Hurts
This wasn't just about Philly. Inside the ring, you'll spot a Brazilian flag, honoring the historic season opener in São Paulo, the NFL's first ever game there. On top of that, Jalen Hurts' No. 1 jersey number, his MVP title, and even his signature are engraved inside the ring, making sure QB1 gets his flowers.
Also engraved? The team's values:
'Tough. Detailed. Together.'
Just in case there was any doubt this squad was built for war.
Philly didn't just win the Super Bowl. They made a statement, and this ring is the ultimate mic drop. It's a museum piece. A war medal. A flex for the ages. Whether you love or hate the Eagles, you can't deny this: that ring is art, loud, proud, and ridiculously Philly.

Novak Djokovic acquires stake in French club Le Mans; former F1 drivers Magnussen, Massa co-owners too

Novak Djokovic became a part-owner of French Ligue 2 side Le Mans FC with former Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen also acquiring stakes, the club on Friday. The investment is led by Brazilian group OutField, an international consortium co-founded by Pedro Olivera, and includes Georgios Frangulis, CEO of global health-food brand OakBerry. 'Djokovic, the most successful player in history, whose mental strength and unique approach will bring considerable added value,' the club said in a statement. 'Massa (15 seasons in Formula 1) and Magnussen (10 seasons), who will help create a bridge between football and motorsport – a distinctive strength of the Le Mans brand.' 'I think everyone knows my passion for football, which is leading me to take this step today. Le Mans FC has a strong connection with motorsport, and when my good friend and partner at Oakberry, Georgios Frangulis, presented the project to me, I wanted to be a part of it—especially alongside people I deeply respect, like Djokovic, who needs no introduction, and Magnussen, with whom I shared many years in Formula 1. 'It's undeniably a great opportunity, taking advantage of the momentum of French football, the reigning Champions League champion, which is currently attracting significant investment,' Massa said. Le Mans begins its league 2 campaign on August 9 against Guingamp.

Sailors off to winning start with 2-1 victory over Real Kashmir

Indian Navy Football Team (INFT) earned a crucial 2-1 win over I-League side Real Kashmir FC (RKFC) in a closely contested Group F encounter of the 134th IndianOil Durand Cup here at the Khuman Lampak Main Stadium to earn the first victory in the competition since 2021. Goals from Vijay Marandi (6') and Sreyas VG (70') ensured full points for the Sailors, while Franck William Sessegnon's 64th-minute strike proved to be a consolation for the Snow Leopards. Head coach Raman Rai's Indian Navy side lined up in a traditional 4-3-3, with Bhaskar Roy captaining from goal and the attacking trio of Sreyas V G, Roshan Panna and Vijay Marandi. Real Kashmir's Ishfaq Ahmed fielded a technically strong 4-3-2-1 setup, headlined by Russian striker Marat Tareck and midfielders Modou Mbengue and Franck William Sessegnon. The Sailors struck early in the 6th minute when Roshan Panna made a slick run down the right and delivered a low cross into the box. Vijay Marandi timed his run well and tapped it in with his knee, handing Navy the lead amid loud cheers from the local crowd. Real Kashmir responded with urgency. Sessegnon and Tareck were involved in multiple buildups, but Navy keeper Bhaskar Roy was solid between the sticks. The Snow Leopards came close on a couple of occasions, including a strong run by Tareck and a near-perfect through ball by Sessegnon to Ahteeb in the 22nd minute, but couldn't find the back of the net. Real Kashmir resumed the second half on the front foot, trying to press higher up. Their persistence paid off in the 64th minute when Sessegnon levelled the score. The Ivorian made a sharp run behind Navy's backline to latch onto a sublime long ball from Seila Toure and finished confidently past Bhaskar Roy. But the Sailors were quick to regain their lead. Just six minutes later, in the 70th minute, Roshan Panna once again turned provider. His low diagonal pass found Sreyas V G inside the right edge of the box, who finished with precision from his right foot to restore Navy's advantage at 2-1. Meanwhile, Diamond Harbour FC continued their winning run in the 134th IndianOil Durand Cup with a commanding 8-1 victory over BSF Football Club in a Group B clash, here at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan (KBK). Brazilian striker Clayton Silva starred with four goals (2', 35', 71', 90+3') while Slovenian forward Luka Majcen netted a brace (7', 39'). Paul (53') and Jobby Justin (67') added to the tally. BSF FC's lone goal came from Kishori in the 90th minute. Durand Cup: Clayton powers Diamond Harbour FC to 8-1 Win over BSF FC

Kolkata, Aug 1 (UNI ) Diamond Harbour FC continued their winning run in the 134th IndianOil Durand Cup with a commanding 8-1 victory over BSF Football Club in a Group B clash, here at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan (KBK). Diamond Harbour Football Club Head Coach Jose Antonio made four changes to his starting line-up bringing in Spanish defender Mikel Kortazar Idiakez, Lalliansanga Renthelei, goal keeper Susanta Malik and Slovenian Forward Luka Majcen in place of Wahengbam Angousana Luwang, Mirshad Koottappunna, Naro Hari Shrestha and Lalliansanga Renthlei, while BSF FC Head Coach Gurjit Singh Atwal named an experienced starting eleven in a 4-4-2 formation with Kishori and Harmandeep Singh in the attacking line. The I-League 2 champions needed just two minutes to make their intentions clear, as Clayton Silva opened the scoring with a composed right footed finish off a Jobby Justin cross. Luka Majcen doubled the lead five minutes later, smashing in after a scramble by Clayton in the box. Despite BSF's attempts to get into the game, they were largely outplayed in midfield and struggled to contain Diamond Harbour's attacking trio of Silva, Majcen, and Paul. In the 35th minute, Silva struck again with a volley from Girik's cross, after Paul and Jobby combined to create the opportunity and just four minutes later, Majcen made it 4-0 after receiving a lofted pass from the Brazilian. BSF's best first-half moment came in the 43rd minute when Kishori's shot was blocked by keeper Susnata Malik. But it was Diamond Harbour who went into the break with a dominant 4-0 lead. Jose Antonio's men picked up where they left off in the second half. Paul added the fifth in the 53rd minute, beating the BSF defense with a low drive. BSF's backline continued to struggle under pressure, and Jobby Justin scored the sixth with a powerful header from Samuel's corner in the 67th minute. Silva completed his hat-trick in the 71st minute, capitalising on a failed clearance from another corner. Though BSF pulled one back in the 90th minute through Kishori, after a neat assist by Harmandeep, it was a mere consolation. The Brazilian capped off a stellar night with his fourth goal in injury time, powering in a shot from outside the box to make it 8-1. With this emphatic win, Diamond Harbour FC moved to the top of Group B with six points and +7 goal difference from two matches, ahead of the crucial encounter against Mohun Bagan on August 9.
