Today kicks off Krispy Kreme's most fleeting treat of the year
'Pumpkin spice fans are counting down the days to their favorite season and we're happy to kick it off by bringing back our Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut – earlier and for a longer period,' said Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme Chief Brand and Product Officer. 'But it won't be around long. Let Pumpkin Spice Season begin!' Pumpkin Spice won't go away forever on Friday. Krispy Kreme has also brought back its Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Coffee (hot or cold), as well as its Pumpkin Spice Cake doughnut. All three will be available throughout the fall starting Aug. 11. In a recent announcement, the doughnut giant said its Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed doughnut will be available Aug. 11 through Aug. 17. So, those who want to get their hands on the fall favorite will have one week to snag it. Krispy Kreme is not the only fast food restaurant getting an early jump on Pumpkin Spice season. Starbucks already announced its PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) would return earlier than usual this year, too. While it usually doesn't hit the menu until September, this year the drink is back on Aug. 26. Starbucks said in the announcement that the flavor is already available in stores in the form of coffees and creamers. Dunkin is about to drop its fall menu, as well, according to Markie Devo, a popular food blogger who is known for having the inside scoop on food releases. The drop is said to be scheduled for Aug. 20 (Dunkin hasn't confirmed or denied the menu or launch date) and, according to Devo, will include Pumpkin Spice Doughnuts, doughnut holes, as well as the Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, made with 'pumpkin swirl, vanilla shot, milk, espresso, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, cinnamon sugar.' Love it or hate it, the return of Pumpkin Spice offerings is always highly anticipated. And in recent years, the popularity of the flavor has meant its return has come earlier and earlier. The pumpkin pie spice market is projected to reach $1.1 billion this year, with a predicted growth to $2.2 billion by 2032, according to Coherent Market Insights. While summer might feel a tad too early to enjoy Pumpkin flavors for some, and others say climate change has destroyed Pumpkin Spice Season altogether, the flavor hitting menus does serve as a reminder that colder weather is on its way. But for some die-hard Pumpkin Spicers, the doughnuts and drinks bring back the feeling that fall has already arrived, no matter what the calendar says.

Millie Bobby Brown Is All About This Fuzzy Take on These Classic Comfy Shoes
Every item on this page was chosen by an ELLE editor. We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. Millie Bobby Brown has grown up in the spotlight. By the time the final season of Netflix's hit show Stranger Things wraps up on December 31, Brown will have played her character, Eleven, for just shy of a decade. Over the course of her style journey in the public eye, she finally feels as if she's landed on what truly works for her: embracing coziness. 'It's less about the look and just more about comfort and ease,' she tells ELLE—though she did enjoy the story she told through fashion during her recent press tour for her film Electric State. This summer, Brown teamed up with Crocs to star in their all-new Unfurgettable Clog campaign, lensed by Lillie Eiger. The actress instantly felt right at home alongside her dog in the whimsical tea party-inspired setting. Below, Brown delves into what it was like on set and what she has planned for the rest of her summer. I am definitely just more of a cozy girl. Anything fluffy, I'm probably buying. And I love whimsical color and fun fabrics. It's been really fun. I got to play around and to work with people who do that as a profession. I mean, I definitely went through different phases, but I feel like now I'm in my cozy era. I feel like they're so collaborative, so it was really nice to be able to talk through what was important to me. My favorite part of the shoot was working with my dog, Winnie. That was really fun, and she was such an angel that day as well. I definitely feel like less is more, but the Jibbitz are really fun to play with, and I usually love any of the animal ones—I think any of the dogs are really fun. Just hanging out and spending time with my animals, my family, and my husband [Jake Bongiovi]. This interview has been edited and condensed for clarity.
