Ana de Armas has officially addressed the ongoing speculation about her frequent sightings with Tom Cruise, confirming that the two are working on multiple projects together. The actress appeared on Good Morning America on May 15 to promote her upcoming action film Ballerina, set in the John Wick universe.
When host Michael Strahan mentioned Cruise and hinted at their collaboration involving stunts, de Armas replied, 'We're definitely working on a lot of things. Not just one but a few projects with Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie and, of course, Tom. And I'm so excited.'
Doug Liman and Christopher McQuarrie are long-time collaborators of Cruise, having worked with him on action-packed films like Edge of Tomorrow, American Made, and several entries in the Mission: Impossible franchise. In late 2024, Deadline reported Cruise and Liman were developing a supernatural thriller titled Deeper.
De Armas, 37, and Cruise, 62, were first seen together in public in February during a dinner in London, reportedly with their agents to discuss future collaborations. Since then, they've been spotted on several occasions, including on de Armas' birthday walk in a London park and arriving via helicopter with Liman in March. Most recently, they were seen leaving David Beckham's 50th birthday party on May 3.
Despite the frequent outings, representatives for both actors have declined to comment on the nature of their relationship beyond professional ties.

An Austrian newspaper came under fire Tuesday after Hollywood star Clint Eastwood said an alleged interview with him published by the paper to mark his 95th birthday was "entirely phony". The row was sparked by a purported interview with the Oscar-winning actor and director carried by the German-language Kurier newspaper Friday. In the interview, which was picked up widely by American media over the weekend, Eastwood criticises a lack of fresh ideas in the current film industry as "we live in an era of remakes and franchises". I can also confirm that I never gave an interview to an Austrian publication called Kurier, or any other writer in recent weeks, and that the interview is entirely phony," he added. On Tuesday, the Vienna-based Kurier's editorial team said its freelancer Elisabeth Sereda had compiled the interview by citing from "a total of 18" round table conversations with Eastwood. But since the article was published as an interview and not as a profile, the daily said it would cut ties with the author. "Even though no quotes have been fabricated, the interviews are documented and the allegations of falsification can be refuted, we will not be working with the author in the future because transparency and our strict editorial standards are paramount to us," Kurier said in a statement published on its website.
