Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli visited the Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan on Tuesday. A day later, a video of the couple has surfaced on social media in which they are seen attentively listening to Maharaj's teaching. Anushka is also seen getting emotional and teary-eyed as she sat with folded hands to seek blessings from Premanand.
Anushka and Virat were attentively listening to Premanand Maharaj's spiritual message, focusing on devotion and inner peace. They appeared deeply engaged as he shared insights on the true nature of God's grace, emphasising that spiritual transformation is a more meaningful reflection of His blessings than wealth or fame.

Anushka and Virat's visit to Premanand Maharaj came a day after the latter announced his retirement from Test cricket after 14 years. He shared an emotional post on Instagram and wrote, 'It's been 14 years since I first wore the baggy blue in Test cricket. Honestly, I never imagined the journey this format would take me on. It's tested me, shaped me, and taught me lessons I'll carry for life."

As I step away from this format, it's not easy but it feels right. I've given it everything I had, and it's given me back so much more than I could've hoped for. Anushka Sharma will be next seen in Chakda Xpress. It is a biopic on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The movie also marks her comeback to film after six years. She was last seen in Zero with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The upcoming sports drama will be released on Netflix. However, its release date has not been announced as of now.
