TV actress Dipika Kakar has shared a sad and emotional update with her fans — she has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. Best known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, Dipika posted the news on Instagram, revealing that it all started with severe stomach pain. When she went to the doctor, they found a tumour in her liver, about the size of a tennis ball. Tests later confirmed it was cancer.
Deepika Padukone is once again making headlines, this time over rumours that she was dropped from director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next film, Spirit. Reports suggest that Deepika was replaced after she allegedly asked for a higher fee and wanted to work only 8 hours a day. In contrast, Triptii Dimri was brought in for the role at a lower fee.
In the middle of all this, an old clip from the promotions of Chhapaak (2020) has gone viral again. In the video, Deepika, who also produced the film, firmly addressed rumours that her husband Ranveer Singh was funding her projects. 'Excuse me, yeh mere khud ke paise hain. Kisne bola yeh? Yeh meri khud ki mehnat hai," she said.
