WWE Raw April 28: Sami Zayn confronted Seth Rollins in the opening segment of the night and asked him to move to SmackDown if he did not want to align with him and Paul Heyman. Later in the night, Sami rejected the offer and asked the former World Heavyweight to 'go to hell. This led to a match between the Canadian star and Bron Breakker, the newest 'Paul Heyman Guy'.
WWE Raw: Bron Breakker wrecks Sami Zayn
Sami Zayn confronted Seth Rollins during the opening segment of WWE Raw and called him a 'hypocrite' for aligning with Heyman. He also accused him of being 'jealous' of Roman Reigns. Following this, 'The Visionary' asked him to go to SmackDown. Later in the night, Sami Zayn rejected the offer and found himself in a match against Bron Breakker. The two put on a competitive contest in the main event.

However, in the end, The Badass' raw power proved to be too much for Sami Zayn to handle. Bron Breakker destroyed him with multiple spears as Seth Rollins looked on. The former Shield member then hit Sami Zayn with a curb stomp after the referee stopped the match and awarded it to the young Steiner.
Here's what happened last week
Bron Breakker aligned with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman last week on Raw. He attacked Roman Reigns after 'The OTC' tried to spear Heyman and also delivered one to CM Punk. He went on to spear Reigns through the barricade, laying him out. This angle has essentially transformers Bron Breakker into a main eventer.

WWE SmackDown Sees John Cena-Logan Paul Wreck Havoc Ahead Of MITB Showdown
Last Updated: Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul unleashed a brutal sneak attack on Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. Held at the Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield, California on June 6, the latest episode of the WWE SmackDown saw the final build-up towards the Money In The Bank. The competitors for the latest WWE Premier Live Event were finalised at an exciting SmackDown episode, where John Cena and Logan Paul dominated their MITB opponents after a brawl. The Main Event segment of the WWE SmackDown witnessed the legendary John Cena and Logan Paul powering over Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso came down to the ring after facing an attack from Seth Rollins. Cena then entered the ring. Just as the undisputed WWE champion was being introduced in his inimitable style, Paul launched an attack against Jey Uso. Cena also led an assault on Rhodes, which resulted in the two men holding the upper hand versus their MITB opponents. They lifted the World Titles. The SmackDown episode opened with Jimmy Uso beating JC Matteo after an interruption from Jacob Fatu. The intense game featured heavy moves by the two wrestlers but the Fatu versus Matteo altercation allowed Uso to roll Matteo up from behind and emerge victorious. A non-title match between Zelina Vega and Piper Niven led to chaotic scenes. Niven had Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre by her side but Giulia evened the odds with a timely intervention. She took out Green, Fyre and Niven with a kendo stick. Trying to maximise the support, Vega aimed for a pin against Niven. But she managed to escape, leading a counterpunch for her victory. Interference from Seth Rollins resulted in a disqualification in an otherwise captivating face-off between LA Knight and Aleister Black. Rollins tried attacking Knight before he was called out by the referee. Black stopped him but was himself taken down by a thunderous spear from Bron Breakker, who gave Knight the same treatment. Next up was a triple tag team match between the competitors of the Women's Money in the Bank ladder encounter. Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley and Alexa Bliss took on Giulia, Naomi and Roxanne Perez. In another match that ended in chaos, Roxanne Perez attempted to tag Naomi with the latter refusing it. Perez consequently took the finisher from both Vaquer and Ripley as Mami executed a pinfall for her team. A backstage altercation resulting in a tag team clash saw Andrade El Idolo pair up with Penta against the Creed Brothers. A classic game witnessed some memorable moments. Both teams landed heavy punches and the fortunes seemed even. But just then an interruption from Chad Gable followed as he tried to support his American-Made Faction before the wrestler was thwarted by his WWE x AAA World Collide opponent, El Hijo del Vikingo. That allowed Penta to hit the Creed Brothers for the win. But the winning duo also countered an attack from Seth Rollins. First Published:

WWE Worlds Collide 2025: Revisiting the bitter feud between Chad Gable and Vikingo
Not all rivalries in wrestling need months of build-up or years of history. Some spark from one moment and create weeks of chaos. That's what happened with Chad Gable and El Hijo del Vikingo. The two never looked like they were meant to share a ring, but WWE made sure they did. A heated WrestleMania 41 interaction, social media digs, and a surprise attack led to a featured match at Worlds Collide. The storyline was brief but packed with enough drama and action to get fans talking. Here's how it all unfolded, from ringside kicks to rope-walking chaos. WrestleMania 41: A kick that changed everything Chad Gable walked into WrestleMania 41 with a fresh identity. As per WWE ring announcer Michael Cole, Chad Gable is El Grande Americano. So Chad Gable's new alter character was set to face Rey Fenix in a singles match on Night 1. But before the bell even rang, he noticed AAA superstar El Hijo del Vikingo sitting in the front row. Instead of ignoring him, Gable mocked Vikingo in front of the live crowd. Vikingo wasn't amused. In a moment that shocked the fans in the arena, he jumped up and kicked Gable square in the chest. The contact was stiff, and the security quickly separated them. Though it wasn't part of the match, that kick became one of the most shared clips from the show. The match between Gable and Fenix still happened and Gable won, but the real attention was now on Gable versus Vikingo. Raw appearance and Money in the Bank interference El Hijo del Vikingo at ringside for Chad Gable's MITB Qualifier 👀#WWERaw The two didn't cross paths again until several weeks later. On an episode of Raw, Gable was part of a Money in the Bank qualifier against Dragon Lee and Penta. During a fast-paced contest, Vikingo made a surprise appearance. He didn't enter officially, but showed up at ringside and distracted Gable during a key moment. That distraction allowed Penta to hit a big move and pick up the win. After the match, Gable was shown bleeding from a cut above his eye, reportedly caused due to Penta's piledriver. WWE played it up with close camera shots and Gable throwing things around backstage. Vikingo showed up, and had a verbal altercation with Gable. This added fuel to the ongoing feud. Social media sparks kept the fire burning Chad Gable pressing Vikingo backstage 😂#WWERAW While both superstars kept appearing on different shows, they made sure the feud stayed alive online. Gable posted photos of his stitched-up eye, tagging Vikingo and calling him "a masked dancer with no purpose." Vikingo replied with a short video of his WrestleMania kick, adding, "You started this. Now fly or fall." The storyline may not have been long, but these kinds of jabs kept it engaging. WWE even aired a short promo package one week before their eventual match, highlighting their contrasting wrestling styles, mat-based grappling versus aerial risk-taking. Vikingo takes out Chad Gable after mask grab attempt on SmackDown El Hijo del Vikingo chases off Chad Gable! Friday night's SmackDown saw Andrade and Penta beat American Made in a fast tag match. But the real chaos started when Chad Gable tried pulling off Penta's mask. That's a huge insult in lucha culture. Before he could finish the act, El Hijo del Vikingo ran in and dragged Gable off the apron. The two brawled into the crowd as Andrade and Penta took advantage. Penta hit a big Mexican Destroyer to get the win. This was Vikingo's first WWE main roster appearance. He recently won the AAA Mega Championship and will defend it against Gable at Worlds Collide. His surprise attack might have been both revenge and a warning. What's next for both men? The match between Chad Gable and Vikingo will happen at WWE Worlds Collide on June 7, 2025. Vikingo is now the AAA Mega Champion, after defeating Alberto El Patron on May 31, 2025. They will collide for the AAA Mega Championship. Additionally, Chad Gable's 'alternate character', El Grande Americano, will also be a part of the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match following the collaboration event.
