Taylor Rooks confirms lyrics from new Drake song 'Supermax' are about her
The rap superstar shocked fans as he shared the first episode of his new series 'ICEMAN' over the weekend - which included a snippet of a song called 'Supermax'.
Fans were quick to note that one lyric mentioned a woman known as 'Taylor', with many speculating it referred to the TNT Sports host, who is a known friend of Drake.
The lyrics in question were: 'I was talking to Taylor over drinks, and it was getting deep / 'Not everyone can handle this pressure and, in the city, you're the national treasure,' that's what she said to me'.
Shortly after the video was released, Rooks eventually broke her silence with an Instagram story and put an end to the fan speculation.
The glamorous broadcaster shared a screenshot of the song, with the lyrics: 'That's what she said to me'.
The friendship between Rooks and Drake has been no secret in recent years and the duo have been publicly spotted together on multiple occasions.
One of those included the Kentucky Derby back in 2022, where they posed for a picture together which Rooks later posted on his Instagram story.
She wrote: 'Truly appreciate our friendship. These are legendary moments. Happy we all get to experience them with everyone'.
Rooks, 33, has been with TNT Sports since 2023 where she began as a sideline reporter, typically for college basketball games.
She then began covering NBA games during the 2024-25 season and, for the 2025-26 season, she will be leading NBA on Prime Video alongside Dirk Nowitski.
Drake, meanwhile, made headlines last month as he sparked plastic surgery rumors after displaying a particularly defined set of six pack abs in a new thirst trap.
The musician, 38, unveiled his chiseled torso in a post he uploaded to Instagram, followed by video of him going for a run in a park.
However, a glaring detail set off alarm bells amongst fans who suspected the abs were not necessarily the result of his jogs but rather a plastic surgeon.

Love Island hunk in talks for spin-off show just weeks after split – and it will be his fourth villa appearance
A LOVE Island hunk is in talks for one of the franchise's spin-off shows, just weeks after splitting from his villa girlfriend. Gearing up for a FOURTH villa appearance, Casey O'Gorman is in talks for Love Island Games after winning All Stars at the start of 2025. 5 Fresh from his split from Gabby Allen, whom he won this year's season of All Stars with, Casey could soon be getting pulses racing with a new cast of Islanders, and maybe even falling in love all over again. A TV insider tells The Sun: "Bosses in the US have approached Casey's team as they are keen for him to take part in the upcoming second season of Love Island Games. "They always take people from international versions of the show, and they think Casey would be perfect as he's done the UK version three times so he's a very familiar face. "He's also recently split from Gabby Allen, so now is the ideal time for him to do it as Casey rarely stays single for long." The Sun has contacted a representative for Casey for comment. Back in May The Sun revealed the couple had called time on their romance three months after winning Love Island 's spin-off show All Stars. They then said in a joint statement: "After much thoughtful consideration, Gabby and Casey have decided to go their separate ways romantically. "This decision was mutual, and they both remain on good terms as friends with a shared respect for each other." Gabby added: "Gabby is grateful for the memories they've created together and wishes Casey nothing but the best as they both move forward on their individual journeys. She's excited for what the future holds." At the time, a source told The Sun: "Both have confided in quite a few friends about this and so it's not really a secret in their circles, but they've made the decision to part ways this week." Axed Love Island star Alima reveals hidden romance with another Islander They added: "They had a really good relationship and enjoyed each others' time but the reality is that they are focusing on different things and they both have realised that. "Neither of them have parted ways badly but they just knew it wasn't going to work anymore." Gabby appeared on Love Island: After Sun recently, where she briefly spoke about her split from Casey. The blonde beauty appeared on the show, which is hosted by Maya Jama, with her All Stars pal Kaz Crossley. Casey O'Gorman's love interests Lea Broc – Casey dated Lea for three years up until 2022. It was later claimed that he had cheated on the French influencer. Claudia Forgarty – Casey was coupled up with Claudia on the show in 2023 but ditched her when a new bombshell arrived. Rosie Seabrook – Casey left the villa with Rosie and they briefly dated in the real world before calling it quits. Georgia Harrison – The hunk had a fling with Georgia before his second stint on the show. It ended badly between them when she famously told him she had seen his late grandfather. Joanna Chimonides – Casey was briefly couple up with on All Stars series one. Kaz Kamwi – Kaz was another short lived romance on All Stars. Eve Gale - Casey ended up leaving the villa with Eve but there romance was also not to last. Tina Stinnes – Casey and Tina slept together when they appeared on Made In Chelsea together. When host Maya spoke to the stunning former Islanders, Gabby got grilled about her split from Casey. Maya chatted to the girls, turned to Gabby and said: "Gabby, what happened with you and Casey?" "How long have we got?" Gabby joked. She then said: "You know what, not really that much to report." Gabby noted how she and Casey were at "very different stages in our lives". Kaz then interjected when she said: "Casey he's a lovely boy, but emphasis on boy," seemingly throwing shade at her pal's ex. "I love Gabby, but a relationship, you just need a bit more depth. "We're looking for our husbands," she concluded. 5 5

Billionaire hedge fund manager, 59, set for shock debut in ATP Challenger event and will partner Wimbledon champ
HEDGE FUND billionaire Bill Ackman is set to make his ATP debut alongside two-time Wimbledon doubles champ Jack Sock - at the age of 59. The pair will take to the court tomorrow at an ATP Challenger event - the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, Rhode Island. 4 4 Ackman has a net worth of £6.75billion through his role as founder and CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management. The New York native has previously shared the court non-competitively with names such as Roger Federer and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Ackman will be joined by Jack Sock, a former tennis pro who peaked at No8 in the singles rankings, and won three Grand Slam doubles titles, including two at Wimbledon. Ackman said via X: "I am playing the best tennis of my life and Jack is one of the greatest doubles players ever. "If we win, I am pretty sure I will be the oldest person in tennis history at 59 to win ATP points." Ackman is just wide of the mark with that claim thanks to Gardnar Mulloy, who held an ATP doubles ranking at the age of 64. Ackman was initially set to partner tennis maverick Nick Kyrgios after the Aussie suggested they pair up for an ATP event, however, the pro suffered an injury that ruled him out of contention. Sock had officially stepped back from tennis to focus on pickleball, but stepped in to partner Ackman - despite only first meeting him last week. 4 4 It was Sock's request for a wildcard place for the duo that allowed them to participate in the tournament, where they will be sponsored by Nike. Wimbledon star's dad breaks down in tears live on BBC after seeing 'emotional' son beat former finalist Sock previously won the doubles event at the Hall of Fame Open in 2021 alongside partner William Blumberg. They will play Australian duo Omar Jasika and Bernard Tomic in the round of 16, with the latter previously having reached a career high single ranking of No17. A victory over the Aussies would win both players 25 ATP ranking points alongside a cash prize of almost £1,500 - which Ackman says would go to Sock.

MLS goalkeeper breaks his silence after scary moment he needed an ambulance to take him off the field
Seattle Sounders goalie Stefan Frei said he is 'back home resting' after he was rushed off the field in an ambulance on Sunday. Seattle and the Columbus Crew were deep into second half stoppage time when the knee of Crew midfielder Amar Sejdic collided with Frei's head as they both went for the ball during a free kick. Frei immediately went to the ground and reportedly received about five minutes of medical attention before an ambulance drove onto Lumen Field. He was then placed on a stretcher en route to the hospital, while both Seattle coach Brian Schmetzer and Columbus coach Wilfried Nancy agreed to end the match early. Following the game, Frei spoke out for the first time since the harrowing incident. 'Still trying to figure out what happened at the end of the game,' he began on X. Ambulance enters field to attend to Stefan Frei who was kneed in the head during corner kick. The game has been call. Scary scenes and concerns for Frei. @CascadiasportsN @SoundersFC — MazvitaMaraire (@MazvitaMaraire) July 6, 2025 'But I'm incredibly grateful to all the staff that looked after me and happy to be back home resting now. What resonates is all the messages, calls, and love I've received from so many of you. He continued in a reply message: 'Thank you - truly.... It means more than I can put into words. I feel the support, and I'm thankful for every single one of you.' While the extent of Frei's injury is not year clear, Schmetzer said following the game that Frei was 'alert' as he went onto the ambulance. 'His fingers were moving, so he was OK in that regard,' he told reporters, via the Seattle Times. 'No paralysis, no nothing major, but I don't want to downplay it. I'm very happy for our medical staff because they did a good job to be careful. We can't underestimate that type of stuff.' Footage from the Apple TV broadcast of the 1-1 draw showed both Schmetzer and Nancy pleading with referees to end the game as the Crew were set to have a corner kick. Nancy said that 'football is not important' in comparison to Frei's injury, while one of the goalie's teammates thanked the coach for his actions. 'I have a lot of respect for them doing that, you can tell they're a classy club,' Sounders forward Paul Rothrock said. 'I talked to Wilfried afterward and said thank you for doing that. The referees were trying to say it was a corner kick, but I don't think anybody could've played after that.' It's unclear if Frei will be available for the Sounders' match against Sporting KC on Saturday.
