
Egypt's Ministry of Culture launches beta version of its new website - Stage & Street - Arts & Culture
The new website is part of the ministry's efforts to provide modern cultural content and offer its services and programmes in an accessible and user-friendly manner.
It embodies the ministry's plans to develop the digital infrastructure and strengthen communication channels with the public.
The website serves as a comprehensive platform that introduces the various sectors, bodies, and activities of the ministry, several of which have their own independent websites and social media platforms, such as the Cultural Development Fund, Cairo Opera House, the Egyptian National Theatre Festival, Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre, etc.
The ministry's comprehensive website will showcase key events and the cultural and artistic agenda. It will also offer digital applications.
The website also provides electronic services, interactive links for users, and archival materials and updated official data.
The beta version already includes several segments of the website, with some yet to be filled with content.

Hussain Al Jassmi to Present First-Ever Concert in North Coast on August 8
Yara Sameh Emirati superstar Hussain Al Jassmi will perform live at the Seashore Stage in North Coast, Egypt, on Friday, August 8. He is set to present several of his popular and latest songs. The concert marks Al Jassmi's first-ever concert in the North Coast. Al Jassmi, born in Khorfakkan on August 25, 1979, is one of the most prominent singers in the Arab World. He released his first single 'Bawadaak', followed by 'Wallah Mayiswa', and 'Bassbour Al Fourgakom'. The Emirati singer also presented many poems written by sheikhs, princes, and the most famous Arab poets including the UAE's late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Al Jassmi is known for his unique modern music, which is reflected in a unique musical vision that is presented in distinguishing melodies, songs, and compositions as well as highlighting his talents as a musician and establishing him as one of the best-performing stars in the Middle East. "Watar Hassas" Adds 5 to Season 2 Cast
Yara Sameh Watar Hassas season 2 is finally picking up steam, with five new actors joining the cast. Kamal Abu Raya, Rania Mansour, Nabil Eissa, Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Elham Wagdy have joined the cast of 'Watar Hassas" season 2. Injy El Mokkaddem, Heidy Karam are also set to return for the drama as well as the creative team from season one, scriptwriter Amin Gamal and director Wael Farag. It also features Ghada Adel playing the titular role, replacing Saba Mubarak, who will not be returning for the upcoming season alongside many familiar faces such as Mohamed Alaa, Jana Ashkar, and Ahmed Gamal Said. Season 1 of the series debuted last year and focused on marital infidelity and the secrets of the human psyche. The issues were highlighted through three women (a doctor, a lawyer, and an employee). Trouble stirs when the lawyer accuses her interior designer husband of infidelity, intertwining the all parties together. The series also starred Mohamed El Amroussi, Hager Afify, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Ahmed Tarek Nour, and more. "Watar Hassas" consists of 45 episodes and was produced by United Media Services. Season 2 of "Watar Hassas" takes place after the events of the first season. The show's creators will also add new elements to the plot to keep up with the events.
