247Sports currently lists Hiller as a four-star recruit, although he's on the fringe of a five-star rating. The Coatesville, Pennsylvania, native is the No. 34 overall player in the country, the No. 3 interior offensive lineman and the No. 2 recruit from his home state. There are only 32 five-star recruits in each cycle, making Hiller just a small rating bump away from that status.
Although the 2027 recruiting cycle is still a full calendar year away, On3's recruiting prediction machine lists Penn State as the early favorite at 90%. Maryland is next at 4.1%, then South Carolina at 1.4%. Wisconsin will look for a similar result to its recruitment of class of 2021 five-star offensive tackle Nolan Rucci, who chose the Badgers over the in-state Nittany Lions, among others.
Wisconsin has yet to land a commitment in the class of 2027. The program is still in the early stages of compiling its class of 2026, with only six players currently committed. Although the 2027 cycle won't pick up until next calendar year, Hiller instantly becomes a major name to watch on the Badgers' offer list.

LSU football misses on top tight end target, losing to SEC rival
LSU football missed on one of its top tight end targets as four-star Brayden Fogle committed to Georgia on Friday. Fogle broke the news on social media. Fogle selected the Bulldogs out of a top three that also included the Tigers and Penn State. The four-star prospect took official visits to all three at the end of May and into June. Advertisement On3's Industry Rankings rank Fogle as the No. 10 tight end in the 2026 cycle. 247Sports is the highest on Fogle, slotting him at No. 132 overall. Both outlets put him at No. 7 or higher of recruits in Ohio. With Fogle off the board, the Tigers are left with few quality tight-end targets left in the 2026 cycle. They likely need to put effort into flipping an already committed prospect if the position is still a priority. If LSU doesn't find luck at the high school level, the Tigers will make an aggressive push for transfer portal tight ends after the season. LSU's 2026 class ranks No. 6 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC following Fogle's decision, according to On3's Industry Rankings. Arizona State Skill Players Ranked Among Top 50 Players in College Football
Arizona State Skill Players Ranked Among Top 50 Players in College Football originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Arizona State Sun Devils are set up for another season of championship football. According to the Top 50 college football player rankings for 2025, put out by Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick at Pro Football Focus (PFF) College, two of ASU's skill players made the list. Advertisement QB Sam Leavitt (#17) and WR Jordyn Tyson (#18) return to the Valley of the Sun for potentially another season of championship football. Leavitt and Tyson led the Sun Devils to a Big 12 title after one of the biggest turnarounds in school history, going from just three victories in 2023 to 11 in 2024. Then they gave the Texas Longhorns all they could handle in the college football playoff before losing a 2OT epic battle. According to PFF College, Leavitt was the only quarterback at a Power Four program to post an 80.0 or higher grade at both throwing the football and running with it. Leavitt gained over 3,300 yards of total offense last season. Advertisement Tyson is as talented a receiver as there is in college football. Last season, Tyson caught 75 passes for 1,101 yards and 10 TDs. He averaged 14.68 yards per catch. Expectations are high for the Sun Devils, and rightfully so. They return 17 starters and have continuity on their coaching staff. Now that running back Cam Skattebo has moved on to the NFL, Leavitt and Tyson will be the focus of what will surely be offensive fireworks in the Valley in 2025.
