Coldplay concert aftermath! How Kristin Cabot 'blindsided' spouse while Privateer Rum CEO was away
The whereabouts of Kristin Cabot's spouse and Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot are in question after ex-Astronomer chief HR was caught on Coldplay kiss cam with Andy Byron. When Kristin Cabot was caught canoodling at a Coldplay concert, her husband Andrew Cabot was on an overseas business trip, a source familiar with the matter informed The Post.
According to the insider's report, the Privateer Rum CEO had been on a work-related trip to Japan. The founder of the Massachusetts-based, high-end liquor maker, "was in Asia for a few weeks and returned on Saturday, so he was gone while all this went down.'
Kristin tied the knot with Andrew Cabot, a sixth-generation heir to the Privateer Rum fortune, sometime after her previous divorce was finalised in 2022, the publication reported. 'There had been little indication of any trouble in paradise before the Coldplay concert video went viral,' the source added.
The Coldplay scandal allegedly brought a firestorm in their personal lives, the source noted. 'The family is now saying they have been having marriage troubles for several months and were discussing separating — which I find interesting since as of a month ago they were saying how in love they are,' the Post quoted the source as saying.
Kristin Cabot and ex-Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's alleged affair became a hot topic on social media after the two were caught on Coldplay jumbotron in a romantic embrace on July 16 in Boston. The 52-year-old recently stepped down from her position at software company Astronomer after the alleged extra-marital affair became public, following the steps of Andy Byron.
Few days ago, Kristin Cabot was spotted for the first time back at her $2.2 million home in Rye without the wedding ring, Daily Mail reported. In February this year, Kristin Cabot and Andrew Cabot reportedly took a loan of $2.2 million with Morgan Stanley to purchase the two-story, four-bedroom Rye property.

Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With ‘Just A Friend' In Crowd: ‘Coldplay Part 2?'
Last Updated: A kiss cam moment between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR head Kristin Cabot has sparked a wave of memes, videos and viral reactions online. There was a time when hearing 'Coldplay" meant thinking of magical concerts, full of lights, music and emotion. That still holds true (kind of). But lately, the word instantly brings up the viral kiss cam moment from the band's recent concert. The one that sparked rumours of an alleged affair between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR chief Kristin Cabot. Since then, the Internet has exploded with memes, videos and whatnot. Now, comedian Max Amini has joined the fun in his own way. He recently shared a video from his Mumbai show last year that features a hilarious interaction with an audience member. 'I have this one guy here, such a gentleman here with the glasses and the baseball cap, yeah? I feel like you were hiding. Why are you wearing sunglasses inside the auditorium?" Amini says as he points to a man in the crowd. The man replies, 'I forgot to switch out the glasses." To which Amini adds, 'I'm glad I talked to you because you couldn't even see me. Now, you're like – 'Oh s***! I am at Max Amini show.' He forgot." Amini pauses, grins and goes, 'All you of Indians – Player! Player! Everybody's out with their friends." Then, with a playful jab, he adds, 'Naman, very beautiful friend. Does his wife know you're hanging out?" while the audience bursts into laughter. Amini ends the conversation with, 'Well, he puts on the glasses, he thinks nobody sees." The video was shared with the caption, 'If only the Coldplay couple knew sunglasses could keep them undercover! This guy came prepared." Watch The Clip: As the video gained traction, the comments section was filled with references to the Coldplay moment. One user wrote, 'Coldplay Part 2." Another joked, 'Coldplayed – but he didn't duck and she didn't hide her face." 'Now every show is turning into Coldplay," someone said while a viewer added, 'Coldplay of standup comedy!" 'Max did it before Coldplay," a person said. An individual jokingly questioned, 'Why should Chris Martin of Coldplay have all the fun?" Max Amini is a globally touring stand-up comedian who has appeared on popular shows like NBC's Heroes, Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider and Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: July 28, 2025, 10:17 IST News viral Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With 'Just A Friend' In Crowd: 'Coldplay Part 2?' Phone Jammers And Masked Commandos: Inside Zohran Mamdani's High-Security Wedding In Uganda
Last Updated: Over 20 special forces commandos and a phone jammer were deployed at NYC mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani's family estate in Kampala during his three-day wedding New York City mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani recently marked his wedding with a lavish, three-day celebration at his family's sprawling estate in Uganda, featuring military-style security, a phone-jamming system, and tightly controlled access, The New York Post reported. The event took place at the Mamdani family's luxury compound in the upscale Buziga Hill area on the outskirts of Kampala. The estate, spread over two acres, features lush gardens, panoramic views of Lake Victoria, and is protected by at least three security gates. The neighbourhood is home to some of Uganda's wealthiest, including billionaire businessman Godfrey Kirumira. Houses nearby are valued at over $1 million. Mamdani, 33, married Syrian-born artist and animator Rama Duwaji, 27, earlier this year. The celebration followed multiple earlier ceremonies — an engagement and wedding in Dubai in December, followed by a civil ceremony in New York. Mamdani and Duwaji met on the dating app Hinge and now live together in a rent-stabilised apartment in Astoria. The Uganda celebration, which Mamdani had announced on Instagram, was attended by guests arriving in buses, several Mercedes-Benz cars, and a Range Rover. The estate was decked with Christmas lights strung across tree canopies. Fruit juice stations and a local DJ added to the celebratory atmosphere. One night, Mamdani was heard addressing guests over a microphone, with the party going on until after midnight. Security at the event was described as unusually tight, even by VIP standards. Over 20 special forces command unit guards, some in masks, were deployed around the property. A phone-jamming system was also in place to prevent leaks. 'Outside the Mamdani house were more than 20 special forces command unit guards, some in masks, and there was a phone-jamming system set up — and all for the strictly invite-only Mamdani event," a witness told The Post. 'One gate had around nine guards stationed at it." By Friday, military-style tents were being dismantled, and Mamdani's private security resumed gate duty. 'Flowers were also left in a pile on the ground near one of the security gates," The Post noted. Mamdani had shared on Instagram that he was heading to his homeland to celebrate with his filmmaker mother Mira Nair and academic father Mahmood Mamdani. While the festivities continued, the neighbourhood was in mourning following the death of former Ugandan Supreme Court Judge George Kanyeihamba, who lived nearby and passed away on July 14. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni visited the area to pay his respects, briefly blocking the street with his motorcade. The timing of Mamdani's event drew criticism from some residents who considered it culturally insensitive during a period of mourning, locally known as Okukungubaga. 'He has not even been buried, and we have his friends coming to give last words and to mourn before the burial next week, yet Mamdani is celebrating his wedding for three days," one resident told The New York Post. Another added, 'Because of the culture here, it was insensitive to have a wedding celebration in the same week as mourning." Despite the high-profile nature of the event, it remained largely under the radar for many locals. He would remain in Uganda until the end of the month.
