Daily Mail22-07-2025
Stacey Dooley has admitted that she took her daughter Minnie to a Nevada brothel when she was just eight months old during a TV appearance on Tuesday.
The TV star, 38, is known for fronting hard-hitting documentaries that shine a light on some of life's darkest places.
In her documentaries so far, she's explored topics such as stalking, fast fashion, poverty, prostitution and religion.
However, Stacey has admitted she brought her daughter along while filming in a legal brother in Nevada in the US.
Appearing on ITV 's This Morning with her husband Kevin Cliffton, the presenter made the admission as she prepares to take her daughter on the road while starring in 2:22 A Ghost Story.
Stacey jokingly told Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary that the couple were 'dragging her along' on their tour.
The star then added: 'She's a good sport, ain't she?
'Because she's always been on the move, she's quite adaptable.
'I took her to a brothel in Nevada once when she was eight months!'
Kevin then interjected: 'I was sitting in a trailer with her outside the brothel for like three days and three nights reading the same thing.'
'We had to get special permission from the sheriff because she was under 18,' Stacey added to the stunned hosts.
The former Strictly star reassured Alison and Dermot that it was 'all above board' as they quickly moved on with the interview.
Previously speaking about the experience, Stacey told The Telegraph how she had already signed up to front the doc without realising Minnie would be only eight months.
She explained: 'I have to then rent a trailer to put [my child] in. Her dad stays in this trailer with Minnie looking out the window while I'm filming and then going back to the trailer to breastfeed Minnie, and all the girls [working at the brothel] are like: "Morning Miss Minnie!"
Kevin then interjected: 'I was sitting in a trailer with her outside the brothel for like three days and three nights reading the same thing'
The TV star, 38, is known for fronting hard-hitting documentaries that shine a light on some of life's most darkest corners
'I'm like: she'll be open-minded if nothing else!'
The documentary aired in 2024 as part of her series with Sky, called Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over USA.
She welcomed first child Minnie with professional dancer Kevin, 42, in January 2023, the pair fell for each other while competing on Strictly Come Dancing together in 2018.
In March, Stacey released a book called Dear Minnie, in which she wrote a heartfelt letter to her now two-year-old.
In the letter, she detailed the moment she realised she was expecting back in 2022, after taking a pregnancy test in the Selfridges toilet.

Tom Brady blasts Wayne Rooney's ‘work ethic' in damning fly-on-the-wall doc from Man Utd legend's Birmingham nightmare

TOM BRADY has slammed Wayne Rooney's work ethic during his time as Birmingham boss. The England and Manchester United legend is also branded 'lackadaisical' in a hard-hitting fly-on-the-wall documentary about the club being released on Friday. 7 7 7 7 7 Built in Birmingham: Brady & the Blues is a five-part series being dropped on Amazon Prime that charts the NFL legend's part-ownership of the club during the last two seasons. Brady — who won a record seven Super Bowls — visited their training ground in the first episode to observe Rooney's team meeting and training session. And while being driven away, he tells his business manager Ben Rawitz: 'I'm a little worried about our head coach's work ethic.' Rawitz replies: 'Comes across as lackadaisical.' Rooney proved a disaster in his time at Birmingham between October 2023 and January 2024. He was sacked after winning just two of his 15 Championship games in charge which saw the club plummet from sixth to 20th and they never recovered, crashing into League One. And the 120-cap England hero appears awkward during his exchanges with Brady. Rooney, at one point, offers to school the NFL powerhouse in the small details of football. He explains that the reason Birmingham's players are at Championship level rather than Premier League is not their skill level but lack of focus for 90 minutes. CASINO SPECIAL - BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS 7 7 Brady tells Rooney: 'What's the difference between football (American) and soccer? Nothing. I treated practice like it was the Super Bowl. Put pressure on them, make them run for everything.' The series goes on to chart their incredible season last time around which saw them win League One with an EFL-record 111 points under new boss Chris Davies. Birmingham fans in meltdown over Tom Brady's 'no messing about moment' as trailer for Amazon Prime doc released But Brady conceded it was a mistake to replace previous boss John Eustace with Rooney within weeks of taking over in August 2023. The NFL star, who had a 22-year career with New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, said: 'I had good advice, 'Don't go in there and make sweeping changes. You guys have time.' 'But we made sweeping changes that put us in decline. That was our doing.' Brady also blasted the players — laying the blame at their feet. He rapped: 'We were trying to make Birmingham a world-class team - but it's been a s**t year. They were lazy and entitled, which doesn't give you much chance to succeed.' Rooney went on to manage Plymouth after his Brum axe but lasted just seven months. He is now set to focus on his punditry work, including a lucrative gig on Match of the Day. Wayne Rooney's record-breaking career WAYNE Rooney took the football world by storm when he made his debut for 2002 with Everton. He quickly became the club's youngest-ever goalscorer aged 16 years and 342 days and was named the BBC's Young Sports Personality of the Year. The striker joined Manchester United in 2004 and spent 13 years at Old Trafford. He went on to make 559 appearances for the Red Devils and scored 253 goals. To this day he is still the club's all-time leading goalscorer. Following his spell with United, Rooney returned to Everton for a season. He also spent one-season stints with D.C. United and Derby County at the end of his career. As well as his impressive club career, Rooney is also England's second-highest goalscorer with 53 goals in 120 appearances, behind only Harry Kane. After hanging up his boots, the England icon turned to a career in management. He took charge of Derby County in 2020 and managed to just about save the club from relegation from the Championship at the end of his first season. However, with Derby handed a 21-point deduction the following campaign, he was unable to keep them up again and subsequently left. Then came a 15-month spell in charge of MLS side D.C. United. He failed to impress during his time in Washington and parted ways with the club at the end of the 2023 regular season. Rooney was controversially handed the Birmingham job in October 2023, replacing John Eustace with the club doing well and sixth in the Championship table. However, in 15 games he suffered nine defeats and managed just two wins. He was sacked in January 2024 with Birmingham down in 20th. The club were relegated to League One at the end of the campaign. He returned to management in May with Plymouth Argyle but managed just five wins in 25 games. The United legend now finds himself out of work once again.

Blow for Stephen Colbert's ego as canceled talk show host Samantha Bee says his axing was 'no brainer'

Canceled late-night host Samantha Bee has said Stephen Colbert's Late Show was terminated for 'hemorrhaging' money and viewers, in a 'no-brainer' move by CBS. Bee, 55, who had hosted TBS's 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' before it was canceled in 2022, gave her two cents on the decision by the broadcaster to end Colbert's show. Speaking on the Breaking Bread with Tom Papa podcast, Bee said she believes the show was failing and that CBS parent company Paramount was also currying favor with Trump in order to gain federal approval for their merger deal with Skydance when they axed Colbert. 'I think both things are true. It definitely was hemorrhaging money. These legacy shows are hemorrhaging money with no real end to that in sight, people are just not tuning in', she said. Bee added: 'People are literally on their phones all the time for one thing, so they actually don't necessarily need a recap of the day's events. They're very well-versed in what has happened. 'It is also true that when the president of the United States has to give his sign off on a corporate merger, the thing you can't do is make jokes about him. 'He's a thin-skinned idiot and we know he's like a pernicious cancer and he cares about that stuff', she later said the move to axe Colbert was a 'no brainer'. CBS said the move to axe Colbert was due to low viewership and a decline in profits, but critics have echoed Bee's sentiment that the network crumbled under pressure from Trump. Bee said she believes the show was failing and that CBS parent company Paramount was also currying favor with Trump to greenlight their merger with Skydance CBS said the move to axe Colbert was due to low viewership and a decline in profits Paramount decided to settle for $16 million on a suit over deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris filed by Trump. Colbert then used the term 'big fat bribe' to describe the settlement on-air, two days later it was announced that his show would disappear from screens. Paramount was planning a merger with media company Skydance at the time and needed the approval of Trump's Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The merger clears the way for an $8.4 billion sale of some of the most prominent names in entertainment, including CBS, Paramount Pictures, and Nickelodeon. 'Insiders' immediately maintained to publications like Puck and Variety the top-rated show was canceled due to being a money pit what was losing $40million a year. Colbert earns between $15 million and $20 million a year, with his staff likely making up most of the rest of the cost. Following the announcement of The Late Show's cancellation, Trump took to Truth Social to gloat over the news in a celebratory post. 'I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings,' he wrote. Critics believe that the network crumbled under pressure from Trump and his administration in axing Colbert The merger deal was approved by the FCC last week. FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said the agency's review of the proposed merger was not connected to the lawsuit. Carr said he welcomed 'Skydance's commitment to make significant changes at the once storied CBS broadcast network. 'In particular, Skydance has made written commitments to ensure that the new company's programming embodies a diversity of viewpoints from across the political and ideological spectrum.' Carr also hailed what he called a victory in 'the FCC's efforts to eliminate invidious forms of DEI discrimination.' The FCC voted 2-1 to approve the deal, with Democratic FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez dissenting.

Pals of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson weigh in on Pamela Anderson romance

Pamela Anderson and her Naked Gun leading man Liam Neeson brought their undeniable chemistry to SiriusXM Studios in Manhattan on Wednesday where host Andy Cohen shared rare insight into their budding romance. Cohen happened to be 'dear friends' with the late Natasha Richardson, who was married to the 73-year-old Irishman for 15 years until her tragic skiing accident. 'I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is,' the 57-year-old Bravo host gushed on SiriusXM earlier Wednesday. 'As I was telling him at the [Naked Gun] premiere party, I go, "Liam, [Pamela] is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys. I mean, this just works, and you know?" 'She is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson. She really is. Like what she's been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself.' The 58-year-old Baywatch alum experienced a full-blown career resurgence last year after starring in Gia Coppola's drama The Last Showgirl, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations. Andy noted that 'it's been 16 years' since Richardson died, at age 45, from a traumatic brain injury in 2009, so Neeson might be ready for love again. However, the Oscar-nominated actor has technically been single since 2012 when he ended his two-year relationship with Freya St. Johnston. On Wednesday, Liam sweetly held hands with Pamela while speaking with Cohen. This, after Neeson pretended to make out with Anderson on the TODAY show. 'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors,' the Schindler's List alum gushed on the NBC morning show Tuesday. 'It was like "Ooh, this is nice, let's not mold this. Let's just let it breathe." And that's what we did.' The coy couple are the happiest they've looked in years, as a source told People on Monday: 'They're enjoying each other's company. It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.' Earlier this month, the Golden Globe nominee gushed to EW: 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam. We definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving. He's a good guy.' Pamela has been married an eye-popping, five times to four different men - Dan Hayhurst (2020-2022), Rick Salomon (2007-2008 and 2014-2015), Kid Rock (2006-2007), and Tommy Lee (1995-1998). On Monday, Anderson and Liam looked like every bit the blended family as they posed with their two sons - Micheál, 30; and Daniel, 28; (with Richardson) as well as Brandon, 29; and Dylan, 27; (with Lee). The 15-time Playboy cover girl portrays nightclub singer Beth opposite Neeson's Lieutenant Frank Drebin Jr. in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation, which hits US/UK theaters this Friday. The Naked Gun also features Danny Huston, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Busta Rhymes, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, and Eddie Yu. Jerry Zucker, Jim Abrahams, and David Zucker wrote and directed the original trilogy spanning 1988-1994, which amassed a total $476.4M at the global box office, following the short-lived ABC series Police Squad in 1982.
