Galaxy S25、S25+、S25 Ultra
Galaxy S24、S24+、S24 Ultra、S24 FE
Galaxy S23、S23+、S23 Ultra、S23 FE
Galaxy S22、S22+、S22 Ultra

Apple reportedly ditching its OS naming system for something more... confusing?
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Quick Summary Apple is set to rip up the copybook when it comes to the names of its new OS updates. Industry sources claim the next iOS will be called iOS 26. Apple's other operating systems will follow suit, it is said. If you own an Apple device you'll likely be au fait with the company's OS naming system. We're currently on variants of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, tvOS 18, etc, and iOS 19 and we're fully expecting iOS 19 and its equivalents to be announced during WWDC in a couple of weeks. However, it turns out we could be very wrong. It is claimed that Apple is set to shake-up the naming convention for the software coming to its best iPhones and other devices. And rather than simplify things, it could be more baffling than ever. Bloomberg's resident Apple expert, Mark Gurman, has reported that Apple will switch to yearly identifiers from this year's OS updates. However, much like EA does with its annual EA Sports games, it'll opt for the forthcoming year, not the current one. According to "people with knowledge of the matter", that means we'll get iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26 and visionOS 26 this year, while next year will see iOS 27 release, and so on. The software will be the same as the rumoured iOS 19, etc, but the name will be different. Of course, once we get into the swing of it, it'll make sense. And we get why Apple would want to use the proceeding year rather than current one, considering each OS is likely to release towards the end of 2025 (in September). However, it could make it particularly confusing when scanning through app compatibility, for example. The jump from 19 to 26 leaves quite a gap for the uninitiated. It's also been pointed out just how Samsung this all seems. Samsung has, since 2020, named its flagship Android phones after years – although as they launch in February or March, they use the current date. The Samsung Galaxy S25 family is the latest, therefore. It doesn't do so with its software though, with One UI 8 (based on Android 16) set to be its next big phone OS release. We'll find out more about the new naming structure on 9 June during during Apple's WWDC 25 opening keynote (or should that be 26?).

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge deal still live: Free 512GB upgrade and $50 gift card
Ryan Haines / Android Authority If you want a super-thin smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is all the rage right now. It was just released last week, so don't expect any serious discounts, but Sammy is finding ways to sweeten the deal for early buyers. Right now, you can get a free storage upgrade and a $50 gift card when you buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge. Buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge with 512GB and a free $50 gift card for just $1,099.99 ($170 off) This offer is available from Amazon. This means you would get an Amazon gift card. The offer applies to all color versions available: Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Icyblue. Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge (Free upgrade to 512GB + $50 gift card) Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge (Free upgrade to 512GB + $50 gift card) Ultra-thin. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the thinnest Galaxy S device ever but still packs a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a 200MP main camera. See price at Amazon Save $170.00 Limited Time Deal! This is a pretty nice deal considering how recently the phone was released. There are no actual discounts on the device yet, but a free storage upgrade and a $50 gift card are great if you can use the extra storage space or if you were already thinking of getting something else from Amazon. Not to mention, it's a pretty awesome phone! The thinness is obviously the device's main lure. It's a mere 5.8mm thick! Of course, there is more to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge than its thin profile. We often compare it to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus. These phones are very similar, with the design being the main differentiator. That said, there are some nice benefits to getting the Galaxy S25 Edge. This one has a titanium frame, arguably making it better built. It also gets a Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 front and a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back. Of course, it keeps the IP68 rating. All things considered, this makes the build quality more similar to the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra! Ryan Haines / Android Authority Performance will be excellent, as well, considering it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and 12GB of RAM. Again, that's the same as the Galaxy S25 Plus, so it can handle any app or task you throw at it, really. Even the display is very similar, featuring a 6.7-inch screen. It's an LTPO AMOLED 2X panel with a QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Of course, making such a thin phone has its downsides. The sacrifices aren't horrible, but they are definitely something to keep in mind. Our main concern is that the battery is smaller at 3,900mAh. Camera versatility suffers a bit, too, as you only get two shooters. The main cam is still the 200MP one you get with the Ultra mode, though! All that said, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is still an awesome phone, and its slim design makes it a really nice proposition for those who prefer something that's easier to carry and handle. Not to mention, it is still a very powerful device. Catch this deal while you can! These launch deals don't usually last long.

Snap Up This Samsung Galaxy S9 Tablet for a Massive $321 Off While You Still Can
Whether it's in addition to or in place of a laptop, today's tablets offer a lot more than a large screen to browse the internet. If you've been considering acquiring a new tablet before prices increase due to tariffs, you'd be smart to consider Amazon's discount of $321 on the Samsung Galaxy S9 Tab. This reduces it to $599. While this is not the lowest price we've seen, it's still a decent savings on a high-quality tablet. You'll need to opt for the graphite model to get the best price. The $599 price is for the 256GB Samsung Galaxy S9 Tab. It features an 11-inch AMOLED screen, so if you're watching movies or TV, you'll have excellent resolution. It also has a high-resolution front camera, perfect for video calls. The S Pen is even included for taking notes and precision pointing. Technical specs include Wi-Fi 7 for fast streaming and downloads, 256GB of storage and the superfast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Other perks include a slim, lightweight design and an Armor Aluminum frame designed to take on whatever life throws at it -- making the tablet a great option for travel. It also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Prices like this on Amazon can be fleeting, so we don't recommend waiting too long to pick up the Galaxy S9 Tab at this low price. Why this deal matters If you're okay with the graphite model, you can pick up this top-tier tablet for $321 off, an excellent price, especially for 256GB of storage. But as with all things Amazon, there is no telling how long the savings will last.
