Done Deal: Tchatchoua ready for Wolves after 12m offer accepted
Our transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà had revealed the figures of the latest proposal of €12m.
That proved to be convincing enough for the Serie A side, while the player has also agreed personal terms and given the all clear.
It means the Cameroon international should fly out on Friday to undergo his medical tests and sign the contract.
Tchatchoua and Verona convinced by Wolves proposal

Several clubs had shown an interest in Tchatchoua this summer, including Nottingham Forest, Galatasaray and Olympique Marseille, while Milan, Inter and Napoli were linked at one stage.
However, Wolves came in with the right €12m bid and the right-back is heading to Molyneux.
He turns 24 next month and has been at Verona since 2023, when he arrived on loan from Charleroi and then made the move permanent for €3m a year later.
The player contributed two goals and three assists in 36 Serie A appearances last season.

Kubo linked to Atletico Madrid
Kubo linked to Atletico Madrid originally appeared on The Sporting News Diego Simeone's Colchoneros seem to be interested in bringing in a winger before their summer transfer window is done. Previously linked to Nicolas Gonzalez from Juventus, now Marca report that they are looking at Real Sociedad and Japanese winger Takefusa Kubo. Kubo is an exciting winger who has been known since his youth days in La Masia and La Fabrica as he was once dubbed "The Japanese Messi". It's clear that Atletico aren't done with their summer business and still feel a need for a winger and Kubo is a more exciting signing than Nicolas Gonzalez. He's electric with the ball at his feet and has seemed for a while like a player who's destined for a move to a bigger club. With Real Sociedad being on a decline, it's seeming like the right time for Kubo to find that big move away. Nicolas Gonzalez is the cheaper option that is likely more feasible, but this feels like a case of paying for the more expensive player seems worth it. Kubo brings more of something that Atletico are missing in a one-on-one dribbler. Atletico may be hesitant though as there have been links to Premier League teams and his release clause is set at 60 million euros. There is also the fact that Real Madrid have a 50% sell-on clause meaning they would be directly funding their bitter rivals. We will see which one Atletico bring in but it's been shown by this window that they are going all out this season.

Raiders' Ashton Jeanty shows big-play ability in joint practice with the 49ers
HENDERSON, Nev. — The 49ers bottled up Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty for the most part Thursday, similar to what Seattle did in a preseason game a week earlier in holding him to minus-1 yard on three carries. But Jeanty still provided a reminder in the joint practice of why he was drafted sixth overall this year by Las Vegas.

Panthers work out former Tar Heels defensive lineman on Thursday
The Carolina Panthers got themselves a look at a local product on Thursday. Per the league transaction wire, the Panthers worked out former University of North Carolina defensive lineman Kevin Hester. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound defender has also worked out for the Houston Texans, who hosted Carolina for a joint practice this morning. A Kennesaw, Ga. native, Hester attended North Cobb High School—where he started playing football again after switching his focus to basketball in eighth grade. Eight days after joining North Cobb's football team, Hester received a scholarship offer from the University of Southern Mississippi. He ended up at Chapel Hill, where he played from 2019 to 2024. Over his six seasons for the Tar Heels, he amassed 150 combined tackles (nine for a loss), 5.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and a pass defensed.
