Done Deal: Tchatchoua ready for Wolves after 12m offer accepted

As Football Italia reported earlier today, Wolverhampton Wanderers made a €12m offer for Jackson Tchatchoua, and Hellas Verona have now accepted. Our transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà had revealed the figures of the latest proposal of €12m. That proved to be convincing enough for the Serie A side, while the player has also agreed personal terms and given the all clear. It means the Cameroon international should fly out on Friday to undergo his medical tests and sign the contract. (Photo by) Several clubs had shown an interest in Tchatchoua this summer, including Nottingham Forest, Galatasaray and Olympique Marseille, while Milan, Inter and Napoli were linked at one stage. However, Wolves came in with the right €12m bid and the right-back is heading to Molyneux. He turns 24 next month and has been at Verona since 2023, when he arrived on loan from Charleroi and then made the move permanent for €3m a year later. The player contributed two goals and three assists in 36 Serie A appearances last season.

Pedulla Hits Out: ‘Inter Milan Missed Their Chance For Leoni Last Summer – Typical For Italian Clubs'

Alfredo Pedulla believes Inter Milan 'missed their chance' to sign Giovanni Leoni last summer. The SportItalia transfer market expert hit out at this being 'typical for Italian clubs' in a video on his YouTube channel. Inter Milan have been targeting defender Giovanni Leoni this summer. However, it is Premier League champions Liverpool who have won the race to sign the 19-year-old. In truth, Inter's interest in Leoni stretches back long before this summer. Twelve months ago, they had been negotiating to try and sign the young defender from Sampdoria. However, it was Parma who signed Leoni ahead of last season. And the teenage defender immediately impressed with his performances in Serie A. This meant that big clubs in Europe began taking notice. Pedulla: 'Inter Missed Out On Their Chance To Sign Giovanni Leoni Last Summer' UDINE, ITALY – MARCH 01: Giovanni Leoni of Parma reacts at the end of the Serie A match between Udinese and Parma at Stadio Friuli on March 01, 2025 in Udine, Italy. (Photo by) SportItalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla lamented that 'Liverpool are the lions, and we're the sheep.' 'The problem here is that you have to try and sign Leoni when you can get him for €7-8 million,' Pedulla continued. 'You don't sign him then. You let him slip away.' 'Then when he costs €30-35 million, you can't sign him.' Pedulla argued that Italian clubs 'go after defenders from abroad who cost €28 million. And then they're not worth €12 million.' 'But then we're the sheep when it comes to signing young Italian talents,' he continued. 'When Sampdoria says, 'sign him, he's eighteen years old,' Inter missed their chance.' 'Now Inter can't sign him for €35 million,' Pedulla added. 'The problem is to understand why big clubs didn't sign him earlier – and not just Inter.'

Pedulla: Inter Milan Not Targeting Genoa & Denmark Star Despite Reports

Inter Milan are not seriously targeting Genoa midfielder Morten Frendrup despite some recent reports. This according to Sport Italia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla. He reports on his homepage that the Nerazzurri do not consider central midfield to be a priority area. A number of recent reports have suggested that Inter are eyeing up a move for Morten Frendrup. The Denmark international has been one of the outstanding midfielders in Serie A in the last couple of seasons with Genoa, in terms of his defensive characteristics and ball-winning abilities. And these are traits which Inter coach Cristian Chivu certainly wants from his central midfielders. (Photo by) Inter do rate Frendrup highly. However, according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, he is not a player they plan to go after this summer. The Nerazzurri already have a couple of players with similar profiles to Frendrup in their squad. Nicolo Barella and Petar Sucic are both players Inter plan to build around next season. Therefore, Pedulla anticipates, the Nerazzurri are unlikely to attempt to sign a player like Frendrup this summer.

Alfredo Pedulla: Inter Milan Have No Plan B For Ongoing Pursuit Of Atalanta Star Forward

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla insists Inter Milan have made the signing of Atalanta ace Ademola Lookman their top priority. According to the famous transfer expert via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have no Plan B' for their pursuit of the Nigerian. Despite Atalanta's attempts to block Lookman's exit, the transfer appears increasingly inevitable before the summer window closes. Indeed, Ademola Lookman has already made concrete steps to force his exit. In addition to deleting all social media posts, the 27-year-old has refused to join pre-season training. (Photo by) As aforementioned, Lookman has made no secret of his desire to join the 20-time Serie A champions. Indeed, he is eager to move to San Siro, and the Nerazzurri are ready to bring him in once Atalanta soften their stance. Furthermore, Cristian Chivu's men have no intention of pursuing other targets. Despite being linked with several elite stars, such as Jadon Sancho, Inter only want Lookman. However, Atalanta hold the keys to the diminutive forward's fate.

Pedulla Ponders: ‘Who Kicked Up A Worse Fuss At Atalanta – Koopmeiners Or Lookman?'

Alfredo Pedulla wonders who kicked up a worse fuss at Atalanta out of Teun Koopmeiners and Atalanta Lookman. The SportItalia transfer market expert mused on the parallel situations in two consecutive transfer windows for La Dea. This summer, Inter Milan's pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become perhaps the most high profile transfer soap opera in Serie A. It's not just that the Nerazzurri are trying to sign a big name player from their rivals. The fact that Lookman has very publicly pushed for the transfer – going so far as a to deliver a public transfer request on social media – has turned it into a circus. Last summer, meanwhile, Juventus had chased Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners for the entire summer. The Bianconeri did end up signing Koopmeiners. But only right at the end of the transfer window. Pedulla: 'Who Kicked Up A Worse Fuss At Atalanta – Koopmeiners Or Lookman?' BERGAMO, ITALY – MAY 20: Teun Koopmeiners of Atalanta BC looks on during the Serie A match between Atalanta BC and Hellas Verona at Gewiss Stadium on May 20, 2023 in Bergamo, Italy. (Photo by) SportItalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla ponders, 'Who do you think kicked up a worse fuss?' 'Koopmeiners, who presented a medical certificate just to join Juve, or Lookman, who decided yesterday to use social media without any certificate, after the chaos and unsettled situation of last summer?' 'With Atalanta having guaranteed him a transfer,' Pedulla notes. 'But for a fee that the club would set.' He then recalls that 'Koopmeiners became a soap opera because, starting in December of 2023, Juve had promised they'd bring him to Turin for any fee.' 'They hadn't agreed on one beforehand,' Pedulla notes. 'Is it better to present a medical certificate? Or to take to social media to try and turn the tables?' Pedulla then observes that 'we're in the crucial week.' 'And considering that there's no longer a deadline, which was missed in spectacular fashion as there was no agreement on figures, everyone can think what they want about Lookman's value.' 'I think he's worth at least €50 million based on the figures I've seen.' Pedulla predicts that 'I don't think we'll have to wait very long.' 'Percassi isn't mad at Lookman. He's mad at his agents.' 'They've been sending messages about him that aren't credible, and don't reflect reality. Namely, those about a price being agreed-upon.'
