Leroy Sané rejects latest Bayern Munich contract; Galatasaray bound?
Sky Germany report that Leroy Sané will not extend his contract at Bayern Munich beyond the summer after rejecting a new deal from the Bundesliga champions.
According to Bild, Sané's new offer wasn't an improved salary, just a different payment structure. Bayern Munich's Max Eberl initially offered €10m plus €5m in bonuses before amending the contract to a fixed €12m salary and a further €3.5m attainable via bonuses, which doesn't meet the player's demands.

Now Sané is close to joining Turkish champions Galatasaray. Bild add that the 29-year-old won't play for Bayern Munich at the Club World Cup which kicks-off in a couple of days, while Fabrizio Romano adds that Galatasaray 'optimistic and confident' at completing a deal for the Germany international with negotiations with the player underway.
Sané – who also has an offer from Al-Hilal, per Florian Plettenberg – scored 11 goals and provided five assists in 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, his best tally in the Bundesliga so far.

Benjamin Sesko: Arsenal handed massive transfer boost as striker target rules out possible destination
Arsenal have been handed a boost as Benjamin Sesko's preference is to stay in Europe this summer, despite interest from Saudi Arabia. Sesko is expected to be on the move during the upcoming transfer window after scoring 13 goals in the Bundesliga last 22-year-old is one of the striker targets Arsenal are considering and they have held talks with RB Leipzig. The German club are hoping to secure a fee in the region of £70million and are willing to part with their star striker after failing to qualify for the Champions League. Sesko has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia and it is understood that two clubs from there have made approaches over the past month. The striker's preference and priority, however, is to carry on playing in Europe if he leaves Leipzig this summer. Sesko's stance is a boost for Arsenal, if they choose to formalise their interest with an official bid, while it will also please the striker's manager at international level, Matjaz Kek. The Slovenia boss has encouraged Sesko not to go to Saudi Arabia if he leaves Leipzig this summer. 'At his age, he shouldn't go! If someone from there is interested, it's a form of recognition,' Kek is quoted as saying by Slovenian news outlet Nogomania. 'I don't underestimate them - I've worked there myself. But there will be time for challenges like that later. 'I believe Benjamin, and the people around him, are smart enough to find the right solution. He needs to play and enjoy football. That's when he's at his best. He must not just play - he has to play with joy.' Sesko scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga last season, while he also chipped in with five assists, too. Leipzig finished seventh in the Bundesliga - missing out on European football for next season - which has boosted Arsenal's chances of landing Sesko. He needs to play and enjoy football. That's when he's at his best. He must not just play - he has to play with joy Matjaz Kek The Gunners have looked at other striker targets, including Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins and Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres. Mikel Arteta has stressed the need for Arsenal to add more firepower to their squad this summer. 'Well, what we have, what is clear as well with the amount of injuries that we had in the front line, that we need a goal threat and we need the firepower out there,' he said in May. 'Understanding that the context can change tomorrow, you know, and we cannot rely just on the numbers that we had before. 'And we have to add goals, we have to add creativity, we have to add numbers and that will be in different positions.'

Wück names 23-player Germany squad for Euro 2025
Germany coach Christian Wueck gestures on the touchline during the Nations League Women soccer match between Germany and Netherlands at Weserstadion. Carmen Jaspersen/dpa Germany women's coach Christian Wück on Thursday named a 23-player squad without major surprises for next month's Euro 2025. Wück's squad for the July 2-27 tournament in Switzerland has a lot of experience but also includes 20-year-old attacking talent Cora Zicai. Advertisement "We want to play with a mix of joy, enthusiasm, will and conviction - that's what this squad stands for. If we manage to do that, we can go a long way," Wück said. Captain Giulia Gwinn and Bayern Munich team-mate Lea Schüller, as well as Sara Däbritz and Kathrin Hendrich are among 11 players who were part of the squad when Germany were defeated by hosts England in the final of the 2022 edition. Goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger, 34, is the oldest player in the squad. As expected, defender Felicitas Rauch and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Nicole Anyomi were not included. The two recently criticized the national team coach's communication, causing turmoil and a debate within the national team. Advertisement The biggest question mark had already been cleared by Wück last week; Bayern star Lena Oberdorf won't be part of the squad as she still recovers from a cruciate ligament injury suffred last July. Record eight-time winners Germany play Poland, Denmark and Sweden in the group stage of the Euros. Germany squad Goalkeepers: Ann-Katrin Berger, Stina Johannes, Ena Mahmutovic Defenders: Giulia Gwinn, Kathrin Hendrich, Franziska Kett, Sophia Kleinherne, Rebecca Knaak, Sarai Linder, Janina Minge, Carlotta Wamser Midfielders/forwards: Jule Brand, Klara Bühl, Selina Cerci, Sara Däbritz, Linda Dallmann, Laura Freigang, Giovanna Hoffmann, Sydney Lohmann, Sjoeke Nüsken, Lea Schüller, Elisa Senss, Cora Zicai
