Initially, Chhatrapal gave vague and misleading answers but later revealed that the deceased woman, Sunita Chaturvedi alias Pallavi, 34, was introduced to him through Instagram. Sunita told him that her husband had passed away and that she lived in Raipur with her parents and her 8-year-old son.
Chhatrapal is a spinster promised to marry her and take care of her child. The duo got close and continued with the relationship until the woman started demanding accountability and marriage.
The accused had no intention to marry, rry and he repeatedly avoided commitment her pleadings.
In stead, he secretly married another woman one and half months back. Meanwhile, Sunita increased pressure on him to let her, and child stay with him.
Frustrated, Chhatrapal conspired with his cousin Shubham Kumar Singour to eliminate Sunita and her child. On June 18, 2025, Chhatrapal informed Shubham about Sunita's repeated visits with her child and he was adamant to remove this 'obstacle' from his happy married life.
Chhatrapal brought Sunita and her son from Raipur to his village Khamhariya on his electric scooter with an excuse to meet at an isolated place. Minutes after they reached, Shubham joined them and together, the two strangled Sunita and her son in a field.
To destroy evidence, they wrapped the bodies separately in sarees, placed them in sacks weighted down with stones, and dumped them into two different wells.
The victims were reported missing under FIR number 51/2025 at Civil Lines police station in Raipur.
Sunita's family identified the bodies. Further investigation and legal proceedings are ongoing at Amleshwar police station.

259 victims identified, remains of 3 UK nationals yet to be repatriated

Ahmedabad: The number of identified victims of the AI 171 crash on June 12 reached 259 on Monday, with two new identifications in the 24 hours ending 6pm. According to officials, the number includes 253 individuals — 240 persons aboard along with 13 non-passengers — who were identified from DNA matches. The remaining six were identified from their facial features, they added. Dr Rakesh Joshi, medical superintendent of Civil Hospital, said that out of 259, the mortal remains of 256 have been handed over to family members. "The only three bodies remaining are of the UK nationals. While the mortal remains of two will be taken any time to the UK for the last rites, one family has informed us that they will take possession of the mortal remains on Wednesday," he said. According to govt figures, out of 241 passengers who died in the crash and subsequent inferno at the medical hostel in the Meghaninagar area, 240 have been identified. The majority of those who lost their lives on the ground have also been identified. Sources said that "only a few" samples remain to be processed for DNA identification in labs in Gandhinagar. Dr Joshi told the media that it is natural for the number of samples handed over to forensic experts to be higher than the deceased. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Ductless Air Conditioners Are Selling Like Crazy [See Why] Keep Cool Click Here Undo "Due to the condition of the bodies, it is likely that more than one sample of the same person may have been sent for analysis," he said. GTA 6 fan claims Rockstar used his likeness for Jason's character

Source: Rockstar Games A Twitter user by the name of Drew Spacely has turned viral for accusing Rockstar Games of using his actual-life image, specifically facial scars, of an old mugshot as inspiration for Jason, one of the main characters in GTA 6. Although he is not threatening to sue, Spacely's side-by-side comparisons and sympathetic tweets have raised eyebrows among the GTA community. Fan thinks GTA 6's Jason has his scars and facial features Drew Spacely has tweeted a number of times commenting on how visually similar to his character is the character "Jason" that appears in the GTA 6 trailers. He brought attention to distinctive facial scars above his eyebrow and on his jawline, those he asserts are identical to the ones shown on Jason in Rockstar's promotional posters and gameplay videos. The Real Life Jason Duval… From GTA6! Within a single tweet, he posted, "Even the first animation has reference to my scar," along with a collage of his own picture and pictures from the trailer with red circles surrounding similar marks. He further added, "I have something that you will never ever have tho! And that's the truth, my face, and my story." Despite all that, Drew was adamant that he does not bear any ill feelings toward Rockstar. In an even newer post, he stated, "I also just want to announce right now that I will not be seeking any sort of money or legal action against Rockstar Games. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Jolie-Pitt Family Shows Support For Shiloh's Change Drivepedia Undo I love this company and everything they do." Community reaction, Rockstar's silence, and prior similar claims The wider GTA community is responding with interest and speculation, but Rockstar Games has yet to comment on Spacely's allegations. While there are fans who observe the similarity, others perceive it as a coincidence, as the character's appearance could be a representation of typical archetypes. This is not the first time Rockstar has encountered likeness claims. Late in 2023, the "Florida Joker" claimed that his tattooed mugshot had inspired a GTA 6 NPC. Years previously, Lindsay Lohan's claim against Rockstar over a GTA V character was eventually dismissed by the courts. Though there's no official report connecting Drew Spacely to GTA 6's Jason, his assertions have raised fans' interest. Whether coincidence or tacit influence, Drew has explicitly stated he's just a huge fan thrilled about the game. As the popularity for GTA 6 increases, tales like these add to the mystery. Actor Srikanth arrested after police seize cocaine from his city residence

Actor Srikanth CHENNAI: Tamil film actor Srikanth, 46, who has acted in 54 movies including 11 in Telugu and five in Malayalam was on Monday arrested by the Chennai police in connection with a cocaine smuggling racket. The arrest followed the detention of T Prasad, an AIADMK IT wing functionary who is suspected to have supplied the drug to the actor. Srikanth was taken into custody after police recovered cocaine from his residence and confirmed drug use through medical tests. Police said they were probing the involvement of another Kollywood actor, whose identity cannot be revealed at this stage. It all began on June 17 when the Anti-Narcotics Intelligence Unit (ANIU) of the city police arrested Pradeep Kumar alias Prado, 38, of Salem and John, 38, a Ghana national in Nungambakkam for possession of 11g cocaine. Based on information provided by Pradeep, police learned that the drug was sourced from T Prasad and sold to Srikanth at a pub in Nungambakkam in May. Police subsequently raided Srikanth's residence in the Nungambakkam Lake area and recovered small quantities of cocaine kept for 'personal use'. Srikanth was detained for questioning and later arrested after his blood samples tested positive for narcotics. He was taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital for an examination and produced before the II metropolitan magistrate court in Egmore. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like ¡Revoluciona tu mundo digital con recomendaciones tech! Mandarina - Tráfico Más información Undo Police said Prasad was earlier arrested following a drunken brawl at the same pub. Further investigations into his activities led to the unearthing of multiple criminal links, including drug trafficking, a job scam and attempts to influence police officials. At least six cases have been registered against him so far. He was detained under the Goondas Act as well. Sources said two police personnel — sub-inspector Mani Durai and constable Senthilkumar — were also arrested on charges of assisting Pradeep Kumar in a fake job racket. Senthilkumar, who served as the personal security officer to CPM MP Su Venkatesan, was picked up from Madurai and brought to Chennai on Thursday. Another SI from the Coimbatore Anti-Terror unit has also been detained based on digital evidence. The job scam surfaced during investigations into the pub brawl involving Prasad, AIADMK functionary Ajay Vandaiyar and history-sheeter Nagendra Sethupathi. So far, at least three complaints have been registered in Nungambakkam and Mylapore police stations.
