
Cyclist dies after collision on residential street in Bedford
A cyclist has died following a collision with a car on a residential street.Bedfordshire Police was called at about 14:30 BST on Friday to reports of a crash on Broad Avenue in Bedford, at the junction with Gloucester Road.The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.Police said the car's driver stopped at the scene and was helping with inquiries.
Det Sgt Craig Wheeler, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire serious collisions investigation unit, said: "Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the person who died in this tragic collision."We're working to establish the circumstances of the incident and would encourage anyone with dash-cam footage, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to get in touch."

Two teenagers, 18, and 19, killed and ‘several' injured in horror two-car crash
TWO teenagers have died in a "tragic" car crash near the Cambridgeshire border. The collision, on June 28, saw a huge emergency response scramble to the Sandy Road between Everton and Sandy at around 2pm. Two teenagers, aged 18 and 19, were pronounced dead at the scene of the horror two-vehicle crash. The men's next of kin have been informed and police family liason officers are supporting them. 'I am appealing for anyone who was travelling along Sandy Road and Everton Road shortly before 2.40pm to contact us, especially if you have dash-cam footage, even if it doesn't show the collision itself.' 1

Ynyshir man charged with murder of dad-of-three Christian Dean
