Netflix and Balaji Telefilms announced long term creative collaboration
Balaji and Netflix have previously collaborated on several beloved titles, including Kathal, Pagglait, Jaane Jaan and Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.

With the man of the moment, Aryan Khan, in attendance along with his family - Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, streaming platform Netflix put up a befitting show. The preview opened with the dialogue, "Mumbai, city of dreams, but yeh shehar sab ka nahi hota." And the lead actor, Lakshya, is introduced with much aplomb as Aasmaan Singh. He packs in punches and says all the right things as someone who it out there to make his mark in the film industry. Raghav Juyal is the quintessential best friend, Aakash, who wants to party with his friend Aasmaan after he delivers his biggest blockbuster. Bobby Deol plays superstar Ajay Talvar, and Saher Bambbar is his daughter. Mona Singh plays Aryan Khan's onscreen mother while Manish Chaudhari plays a producer. The Internet has now reacted to the preview and they seem impressed. Lilly Singh joins Netflix film Best of the Best about competitive Bollywood dance
Netflix has expanded its cast for Best of the Best, a coming-of-age film about competitive Bollywood dancing, with comedian Lilly Singh joining the cast. The Netflix film Best of the Best, directed by Lena Khan, explores competitive Bollywood dancing with a diverse cast. Comedian Hasan Minhaj has penned the story Hasan Minhaj and Prashanth Venkataramanujam penned the story, which Minhaj will also act in. The story follows two childhood friends who join the Bollywood dance team at their college. What may have seemed fun at the outset will prove to be immensely competitive and intense. The previously announced Minhaj, Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia will be joined by new members, Variety reported. Ankur Rathee, who has acted in Four More Shots Please and Chaneil Kular from the streaming platform's original Sex Education are in the movie along with Shreya Navile, Becky Alex, Janina Gavankar, Nihar Duvvuri, Nico Greetham, Saara Chaudry, Amryn Khurana, Tanishq Joshi and Sasha Bhasin. Aryan Khan says he is ‘nervous' in 1st speech at The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview: ‘Maaf kar dena first time hain'
The preview launch event of The Ba***ds of Bollywood on Wednesday saw Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan make his first official speech before the media. Aryan, who is making his directorial debut with the show, admitted that he is 'nervous' and expressed his apology in advance. What Aryan said Shah Rukh stood at one corner of the stage as Aryan took the focus at the centre and said, 'Lagatar practice kiya jaa raha hoon. In fact, main itna nervous hoon ki maine teleprompter pe bhi likwa diya hain aur just in case yaha ki bijli chali jaaye main kaagaz ke tukde pe nhi likh ke laya hoon! Torch ke saath. Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaaye… toh papa hain na! (Shah Rukh turned to show a printout of the speech pasted on his back) Aur iss sab ke baad bhi mujhse galti ho jaaye toh mujhe please maaf kar dena ye mera first time hain (I have been practising nonstop!
